Exceptional! Super friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast and the best dinner! A bit tricky to find but once you get your bearings it is a good location within walking distance to most things. Highly recommend!

Simply the he best riad in Marrakech! Hidden in the middle of the busy old Medina, this hotel is a island of calm. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, immaculately clean. The staff is very helpful, friendly, polite. Plenty of useful information and advice was given to me. I had very relaxing stay and recommend this place for 1000%. I'm already planned the next stay there before departing from Marrakech. Thanks again! I really loved it:)

A bijou Riad. Beautiful, clean and comfortable with excellent service. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is a mini feast of: yoghurt, fruit, bread, jam, cheese, cake and egg! Plus both tea and coffee. It is tucked away in the medina, so daunting at first, but once you are orientated it is within walking distance of the sights of the medina.

Samira and Youness were delightful hosts. They were thoughtful, kind and always ready to provide walking maps and other helpful information. They were very attentive to making sure we were enjoying ourselves on our first stay in Marrakech. This included organizing a fantastic cooking class with the excellent Riad Romance chef, Latifah, and a wonderful hike and lunch in the Atlas Mountains. The Riad itself is true to its name – very romantic! And the rooms, pool and rooftop terrace are inviting and clean. We know we’ll return to Marrakech and the Riad Romance will be where we’ll stay.

Dear Samira, I still have a feeling that I missed so much in Marrakech staying 1 night is not enough so we will see you again in the near future. I posted on trip advisor my recommendation for your beautiful Riad- do you have more places I can post? So we arrived after hearing so many good comments on the Road I had to find out for myself. I was important for me to stay in an authentic place and not big hotels that we can find everywhere. My expectations were met and even more than expected. We received a full hosting and caring feeling from the moment we booked. Samira, the owner contacted me to schedule an airport pick up and even though we rented a car she wanted a driver to meet us and see everything is well with the way. We arrrived to a secret place behind authentic door was hidden a beautiful Riad with little details that you cannot ignore .upon arrival ( cold Evening) we were seated by the pool on a couch and a warm tasty tea was served to us . Our room was like entering a castle with gold fabric big bed and seating area. In the morning we were greeted and sat down for an amazing breakfast made special for us it’s was an excellent experience and will definitely return. Thank you

A haven of peace and relaxation amid the Medina. Outstanding hospitality on the part of the lovely owners, a true home from home. Gorgeous rooms, outstandingly clean and super comfortable beds and pillows (important to me). You can order the most delicious home cooked dinners catered to your needs. Perfect Wi-FI. A great variety of individuals, couples and family guests, our stay was made so easy and chilled. Sam is jam-packed with tips and useful suggestions about the area, I have never felt in better hands and so well cared for. Thank you so much and we will be back when in Marrakech next time.

My (now) wife and myself stayed here last summer. We really enjoyed the stay and promised we would leave a review. Once we found the Riad, it was in a good, central location, and being inside it did have a very calming effect. Within a few seconds we'd been warmly greeted and invited to sit down and have some mint tea, just the tonic! The pool was delightful, and the cleaning staff and owners were very helpful and welcoming. We'd stay here again, if we were to return to Marrakesh. Probably one of the most serene, peaceful places we've ever stayed.

Riad Romance was one of the most memorable places we have stayed. What stood out was the great service from Sam & the staff. We did not feel like we were in a hotel or a commercial place. Sam treated is like family & special guests, helping us for everything we needed including finding our way around the old town, recommended places to shop, taking us to some shops herself, making reservations for us for dining & massage at no charge, ensuring that we got eggless vegetarian food for breakfast, picking us up from the parking lot, & special arrangements to get to our car early in the morning. We had wonderful conversations with her as well. The riad has around 6 units I believe. We stayed in the Duplex Room & were here for 2 nights. It had a Moroccan look to it, & you can see our photos to see that it was very appealing in taste, simple decor, clean & romantic. The duplex was nice because the bed was on the 2nd floor (a very easy walk) & overlooked the ground floor where the bathroom was, so it felt spacious. The swimming pool was nice, & meals were right next to it. Breakfast included bread, Moroccan pancakes, juice, & tea, & with notice in the morning, they can prepare dinner as well. The area where you eat & the pool is very nice & well decorated. There are lounge chairs as well. The roof offers excellent views. Riad Romance is close to most of the things in the old town, & their map clearly shows you how to get to & from Riad Romance. They also provide you with a cell phone which you can use to make local calls, & is helpful as well for the Riad to call you on the status of reservations, or if you need help getting to or from something or have questions. A very nice touch that also saves on personal cell phone charges. I would stay here again without any doubt. I thank Sam & her staff for everything.

Real bad experience with the riad. I have visited most of Marrakech riads and hotels, and i have never seen a bad hospitality like this one. The manager was very angry about anything, we can’t smoke in the riad we had to go out to smoke, and she was shouting at the employees every time they made a simple mistake, she even shouted at some guests. There are plenty of riads in marrakech to visit, but i wouldn’t recommend this one.

Sam and Yuones have incredible ‘heart and soul’ & created a very unique and personal experience for me as a guest. They spent much time learning about me, my interests and made excellent recommendations for our stay. Their staff made the best breakfasts from scratch which were included. Eggs, Moroccan pancakes, crepes, Jogurts, cheeses, fruits and outstanding teas. And the service was delivered so kindly. I felt safe and secure in this lovely botanical sanctuary!! Plus we made new friends with many of the other guests.:) What are you waiting for? Book it here! You will never want to leave!! ❤️

This Riad was truly fantastic. I stayed one night before a three day trek in the Sahara and another night after. My trek got back to Marrakech around 9 PM and the owner graciously met me where my trek was able to drop me off and walk with me to the Riad through the Mediana. Additionally, my flight was delayed coming in and I booked another flight to come in at 2 AM - again, no issue - they scheduled a driver to pick me up. This is all very important as a I am a young, solo female traveler and while Marrakech is beautiful and a treasure of its own, it is best to remain with a local early in the morning through the Medina before you get your bearings of the city. I cannot wait to return!! Thank you!

Sam and Youness are wonderful hosts. Our stay in Marrakesh was made so much easier by their thoughtful and helpful approach. From simple tips on local geography to complex directions finding a lovely restaurant. The riad is perfect, a beautiful little oasis amongst the labyrinth of alleyways and roads. We couldn’t recommend a more comfortable base for your visit. In Sam’s own words ‘this is your home’

Well, what should i criticize first, the bad localisation? Or the bad hospitality? Despite how peaceful the place is but the manager is very rude so the vibes switch from good to very toxic and bad. Not recommended at all.

Not for women only groups Staff - Sameera and the rest were amazing. Very friendly and accommodating. The Riad was lovely at first glance. Rooms were equipped with AC but no windows so expect it to be really dark. I had to use the torch on my phone to look through my bag. The riad itself is located in a hidden maze which can get very dark and confusing if you’re lost. The locals were okay, please be cautious what side you walk on the road, the motorbikes will intimidate you. Our clothes gained a mildew smell. It is €30 per head for dinner at the Riad. Not sure if they take dirham. Much cheaper to go out if you dare in the dark.

Riad Romance is a little treasure located in the Medina, Marrakech. It is within walking distance of Jemaa el Fna and many historical sights. Sam and her team took care of us as if we were family. Sam was available on watsapp and in person to book excursions and provide useful information and advice. The Riad is spotless and beautiful. Must mention the lovely breakfasts which included paratha like breads. Thanks to Sam and her team for ensuring a relaxing and memorable trip. Would fully recommend this Riad and would definitely return. Ghazala & Marghoob
