Dar Tiflet is like a second home to me. I have been there numerous times, and I wouldn’t even look anywhere else when going to Marrakesh. It’s conveniently located in the heart of the Medina, yet provides a safe and quiet break from the intense experience of the old town. Patrice, Mohammed and Yassine are perfect hosts. The rooms are cosy and authentic - so much better than these you can stay at in overhyped , expensive residences that lack true Moroccan heart. The roof terrace is perfect for chilling out after a busy day. The owners can organise interesting experiences and know Morocco inside out. There is a very limited internet and this is fantastic as it’s possible to enjoy a total reset. I love Dar Tiflet, and I am going to come back again and again.

Perfect place. The riad is stunningly beautiful. Yassin and his brother went out of their way to make our stay very special. It has a large terrace with many places to sit or lie, in the sun or in shade. The rooms are decorated nicely. One courtyard is in shade, with comfy couches. The second courtyard is under the sun, with a fountain and lush plants.

One word... WOW! We had an AMAZING time here. Yassine & Rachid are the absolute BEST. The two of them were honestly the highlight of our whole trip in Morocco. Its very rare to meet individuals as genuine as the two of them. They went above and beyond to make our stay in Marrakesh both comfortable and enjoyable. Without their local tips, our time in Marrakesh wouldn’t have been the same. The Riad was outstanding. Very, very, very clean and spacious. Best of all was the roof top terrace! Perfect place to hang out in the evening and have breakfast in the morning. Wifi was super fast and the temperature was perfect inside. Upon our arrival, we were given traditional tea and snacks which were fantastic. The level of hospitality here was unmatched to anywhere else we’ve ever visited. We have travelled to over 30 countries and this stop was one we’ll never forget. Its quite rare we take the time to write a proper review but this was a must. Do yourself a favor and book here! We HIGHLY recommend it. The value, hospitality and local knowledge you’ll receive will set a positive tone for your time in Marrakesh giving you the confidence to explore the city and culture. Huge thanks again to Yassine & Rachid for everything! You two are absolutely amazing.

Yassine was very helpful and friendly. He made us feel at home. Only issue for us was the lack of warm water.

Good location. Simple but clean rooms. Lovely roof top seating area. Really good breakfast. The best part was Yasmine. He is very helpful taking the time to provide many tips. If I could have given more than 5 stars for service I would have. I recommend you accept their offer to arrange a taxi for you as it will get you with 2 minutes of the Riad.

Patrice and Yassine's riad is a very beautiful place to stay if you are visiting Marrakech. We were welcomed warmly and yassine helped us organize a last minute desert tour and gave us lots of tips about the city. The rooms are quite small but well organized, cozy and colorful. We stayed there in august so having air conditioning in the rooms was key. The riad is in the medina, in a very quiet alley and just 10 minutes from the main square. We recommend it! Shukran!

The riad is the perfect place to stay in Marrakech if you like the Medina. The host Yassine is exceptionally helpful and friendly. He makes you feel incredibly welcome and supports you with any queries and offers advice for all parts of Marrakech. The roof area is really nicely done too, to relax after a busy day.

We stayed in Dar Tiflet for three nights and we were blessed with the service. This riad is very beautiful and super cosy. Location is very central and quiet during the night. We had huge and tasty breakfast. And the best part was the manager of the riad - Yassine. He helped us with everything! He made sure we felt part of the family. We will always remember Riad Dar Tiflet.

Everything about our stay at Riad Dar Tiflet was exceptional! Upon our arrival we were met by the wonderful Yassine who greeted us with Mint Tea (Moroccan Whisky) and local snacks and he took time out of his day to sit with us for about our to give us local tips, recommendations and do's and don'ts. Yassine really was so welcoming and organised excursions (you must do the camel and quads in the Black Desert then dinner under the stars!!), recommended and reserved restaurants, booked us into a great Hammam. Without him our experience would have been totally different and we were so grateful for his knowledge and generosity with his time for us. The Riad is just a gem. Absolutely beautiful, traditional and so photogenic! Our room was lovely, with great WiFi and a lovely hot powerful shower! Breakfast was serves on the roof and was delicious and huge!! It certainly set you up for the day!! The area where the Riad is located is perfect to walk on foot to the main square and the Souks but hidden away down an quiet street so is super quiet at night. Perfect. We can't wait to return and will absolutely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending to all. Thank you Yassine for your wonderful and warm welcome which continued throughout our stay and for shaping the perfect experience of Marrakesh. A million shukrans!!! 🙏🏻

Beautiful, quiet and cosy traditional moroccan riad with lovely rooftop terrace and amazing staff. Central location, around 10min walk from the Jemaa el fna square. Taxi can drive you almost up to riad, that really convenient if you have some luggage. It's away from the main street, so it is very quiet and it is a big plus. After walking in very noisy streets of Marrakesh sll day you will need this. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. You have opption for the breakfast, that is good because most of the cafés are closed in the mornings. And the breakfast is great. Best part of the stay was the service. It was our first time in Morocco and we had many questions. The manager Yassine was incredibly helpful with everything. We felt like at home and part of Riad Dar Tiflet family. 100% recommend!

Beautiful, safe, peaceful and quiet Riad a stone’s throw from Djemma el Fna. The manager, Yassine, was on hand 24/7 to assist - he’s possibly the most hospitable host I’ve ever come across. The owner, Patrice, is also very friendly and had lots of tips to share on what to see and do. As a sole female traveller with a young child I felt completely safe at all times here, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. If I’m ever in Marrakech again, I’ll be staying at Dar Tiflet!

This was my first time in Marrakesh and Dar Tiflet was a perfect place to stay for my introduction to Morocco. The riad is very conveniently located in the heart of the Medina, but provides a great respite after a day of sightseeing, shopping, discovering. It’s quiet and peaceful, with a wonderful terrace to enjoy in the evenings. Yassine and Mohamed are both fantastic hosts - they really take care of their guests and are very welcoming. They give excellent tips and recommendations and help navigate the often intense city. Patrice, the owner of the riad, is the warmest, funniest, most attentive person you can ask for. Thanks to all that, Dar Tiflet has an incredibly personable vibe. For that reason single folk, couples and families would all feel welcome and comfortable there.

Kindest staff ever. Rachid and Yassine taught us many things about the Arabic culture as well as how to get around. Excellent breakfast (highly recommend it), great terrace, rooms, and coldest water we had on our trip!

Spending my 4th night at Dar Tiflet- and after 2 days in the desert will undoubtedly return for 1 more. Amazing staff. Mohamed, Yassine, Osama, and Marc have made our stay beyond special. They show true caring and proper hospitality. They went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our needs- including adding our baby daughter just a few days before we arrived. Cannot recommend more- and an absolutely incredible value. Thank you!!

Awesome riad. Not too large and commercial, but not too small either. It has a very cozy and spacious roof terrace where you can eat, drink and chill in the sun. The host is nice and eager to help you during your stay in Marrakech.

Our stay at Dar Tiflet couldn't have been better. It's a beautiful house, situated right in the medina, in close walking distance to the must see places in Marrakech. We were served delicious breakfast at the rooftop terrace and enjoyed lying there, escaping the busy life on the streets. But what is outstanding about Dar Tiflet (and made us return at the end of our trip) is the hospitality of the owner and employees. They welcomed us with open arms and made sure we had an amazing time. From organizing taxis, borrowing street maps, giving advices on where to go and eat, serving breakfast after official times and most important to us: taking the time to sit down with the guests and share their thoughts on life - they did far more than what we expected. I can only recommend staying at Dar Tiflet, you won't regret it for one second!
