The ambience and service are impeccable but the food has a lot of room to improve. You’d expect much more from this price. It’s as expensive as London but not satisfying enough.

Loved the atmosphere here, with a live DJ playing and really friendly staff. The food was also fantastic. Would highly recommend to those visiting Marrakesh.

When we arrived to the restaurant it was full! We went in lunch time , but even tho they gave us a table very fast! First of all I have to say that the staff where very helpful and very fast on everything , very good communication between them , as they have 3 floors and different waitress in every floor. Food was good 👍🏽 , and price was good as well for the quality , I would say maybe small quantity …views are amazing 🤩 if you get a table near the big window on the second floor is very nice atmosphere and on the rooftop even better ! They have a lot of stairs , so I won’t recommend you take kids strollers

Sunset at Tarrasses de Epices is going to be the best dinner you will have in your life. Food is honestly exceptional and the staff so helpful and knowledgeable. Would give 7 starts if I could. Been all around the world and this restaurant all around is definetely my number 1. 🌍 🍴

Overall; pricey and there is nothing specific about the view or being terrace. Music was nice. Starters are below average or just ordinary. Friendly staff (except the lady who assigns tables)

I loved this restaurant! We came here on our first and last evening in Marrakech. The Makfoul Tangine was so delicious and we also loved the briouates appetizer. The Makfoul Tagine was the best meal on our trip. Service was friendly and the location on the terrace has so perfect. Really nice, relaxing and chic atmosphere. We also tried two desserts and the creme brulee with rice pudding was great. Alcoholic Beverages are available.

Super nice staff!! But the place feels a bit like Ruby Tuesday’s or Disney world - it’s so commercial and very very overpriced. For example, a beer that is normally 65 MAD at other nice places is 125 here! Which is wild to me… having lived in Marrakech for 8 months now, I know I’m no local but I’d recommend you skip this spot and go somewhere a bit less gimmicky.

Terraces des Epices, not to be mixed up with Tables Des Epices, is an excellent restaurant deep in the Marrakech Medina. One of the few restaurants to have Covid protocols re masks for staff we were really l impressed on their assurances to find our way home. After a steady diet of tajine and couscous we both went rogue and ordered their hamburger which was perfect. The red wine was slightly warm and They brought us an ice bucket to cool it down. Very nice roof top terrace with nice Buddha bar tunes. Good vibes, highly recommended. Make a reservation. Serves alcohol.

Nice rooftop restaurant in the souks of Marrakech. Good service. One of the only places where you can find alcoholic drinks in the centre of the city.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in Marrakesh. This restaurant is a very good place to eat drink and enjoy fine dining. Almost like being in a fine restaurant in London it's so good. The cocktails are superb I had a Terrace Cocktail and it was fantastic. The service is some of the best I have tried and the menu is also very good. Lots of foods and dishes you will not find and so much choice. Priced accordingly and this is a place to make a reservation to guarantee getting a table. Location is great above the Medina market downtown Marrakesh

Great setup in the middle of the hustle and the bustle. Great views and Ambience. Definitely expensive compared to other places offering Moroccan food. Tagine was good and were the Salads. Desert options were good.

Lovely terrace in the centre of medina. Been here a few times for tea/coffee and dessert. Excellent service. Recommend trying the chocolate pastilla. They also have a great selection of wines and cocktails!

The reason I’m giving this place two stars is because I left this place feeling like I was ripped off, which is not a good feeling. These two cocktails are cute, but they were $49 USD. I have never paid this much for cocktails before and the service that accompanied was terrible. We were sat in an awkward corner at the bar and were ignored because we didn’t have a “reservation.” Even though we wanted to have dinner here we didn’t because after 45 minutes we still hadn’t been approached by the host. Unfortunately, my opinion of this place is that it is pretentious and very unlike the Morrocan hospitality at other restaurants.

We made a reservation in advance so we could have dinner here. I would recommend doing so if you would like to eat here. Close to the restaurant you will find well dressed men at the corners of the Souks to guide you into the right direction. Once we arrived we were friendly greeted by the waiters. It is also nice to see that they take some basic covid (or sanitary) measures, before entering you have to put some hand sanitiser on. The place is beautiful and very relaxing. There was live music as well. The dinner was very delicious. We didn’t go for starters and both took the “Prawns Mhamsa” as our main course. We finished with “Amlou Tiramisu” (really recommend this dessert) and the “Chocolate Pastilla”. The place it a bit more expensive compared to some other restaurants in Marrakech. However totally worth a visit.

Lovely place, absolutely! Yes, various reviews mention the price and true, it's on the pricier side for Marrakesh, but ambience-wise it's definitely one of the best places I've eaten, and the food itself is delicious. I perhaps wouldn't repeat the Argan Sour cocktail (whiskey + argan oil was bound to be a bold choice) but the raviolis were excellent (juicy and flavorful) as was the rice pudding creme brulee for dessert. The entire space is outside, but they provide blankets to help with the evening chill (visited late November), as well as chargers and other little amenities to make your stay more comfortable.

Vielen lieben Dank!

We got there in time to experience a beautiful sunset, the food was delicious and fun cocktails — the Marrakech Mule and sirloin steak with truffle mashed potatoes were delicious. The salmon was done slightly more than I would like but it was tasty. It got chilly and they brought us these cute wizard hoodie capes to keep warm :) This is one of the few restaurants that serve alcohol in the Medina and we didn’t realize it until we were there!

Our waitress was lovely, the food was average at best. The rooftop itself is quite nice but you're overlooking rubble on all sides (I know there's not much they can do about that). I'd maybe go back for a drink but skip the food considering the quality/price.

We had reservations for 9:00 but we were seated at 10:00 because the couple at our table took their time and there were no other tables. They seated us the bar while we waited and forgot we were there until we approached them after 45 minutes. The kitchen closed at 10:30 , all of the starters we wanted were no longer available. We ended up having a night spending half the bill on expensive bar drinks and feeling rushed. To top it off, we left an hour late than planned and this part of the Medina is not safe at night. We almost were mugged on the way to the hotel as the normal high traffic roads back were closed for the night forcing us to take an unknown route. At a minimum we should have been offered a few free drinks or starters for what we were hoping to be a good experience out.

This is an exquisite restaurant in the heart of the Sooks. Great views of the Atlas Mountains. Staff is kind knowledgeable. Just as we were finishing our main course chef came to our table to visit and was quite nice and gracious.

Lovely atmosphere despite some areas of the restaurant cordoned off due to damage. Service was impeccable! The beef shin ravioli was a little underwhelming but the chocolate sphere dessert was delicious 😋

Ok this may probably be the best place inside the Madina. Great food , outstanding service & amazing vibe ( with booze :) ). We had the chicken tajine with dried lemons & olives — this was by the best tajine ever ! The crowd was truly international. The service staff named Salah is really impressive with his knowledge , recommendations & immaculate manners - 10/10 . Must try.

This was our first lunch in Marrakesh and we enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant obviously caters mostly to tourists, but the food was still delicious and the service was immaculate. It is definitely more expansive than other options nearby, but I feel like you’re paying for the experience as much as the food itself.

The rooftop atmosphere is hip and fun, and our server was great; he spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and attentive. The food is good but not exceptional, and pricy. The hostess was aloof.

Well executed modern and traditional Moroccan dishes in a relaxing and elegant rooftop setting. Live music and super attentive service add to the experience. Good for a romantic night out or for a special occasion. Expect to spend between 50 and 80€ per head for a full dinner and drinks. Worth it.

We went for dinner last night and it was amazing, the setting was very nice and the music played by the DJ there was relaxing and nice. Our host Mourad was amazing in every way, telling us about the different dishes they prepare and provided us with everything we needed and all-in-all was very friendly and yet very professional. The food we tried was very good. We tried one appetizer and had the Tagin Makfoul and Tanjia Marrakeshia and they were both very well prepared and delicious.

We booked this place in advance after hearing how popular it was. The views and setup of this place is amazing! The waiters are very attentive and provide top notch service. We had lobster ravioli for starter which was delicious. Then for mains I had the best tasting lamb tagine I have ever had and my wife had the prawns which she loved. They also have a big wine list and their local casablanca pints were a good start to a wonderful evening. It can be abit pricey but we were fine with that, considering the service and food we got. Only small downside is my wife asked them in advance that we were celebrating my 40th birthday and if they can do something nice for me, but they did not do anything so she was disappointed with that. But I would still recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakesh.

Nice food and they offer a bit more diverse Moroccan dishes than the usual restaurants. The setting is very nice but prepare your wallet as the prices are high!

The food here was good (the seafood pastilla is to die for probably the best pastilla I have had Marrakesh). The service was alright except that when you pay the bill we had to queue 10 minutes in order to pay for it. The atmosphere was very good with live music on a terrace. There was four of us and the bill came to just a touch over 2000 dirham for eventually three course meal for all of us. Plus alcohol. Definitely the most expensive meal we have had in Marrakesh.

Service is impeccable and so friendly. Great lunch, copious ceasar salad with lots of chicken, huge burger of high quality, excellent fries, the dessert was fabulous safran apples with ice cream and sugary chip crunch. Rose wine, gris was top.

Exceptional Location in the heart of the medina. Service & Food were remarkable. Cocktails 10/10. Next time I'm in Marrakech, I will definetly be back. You even get a private security escort when leaving the restaurant for safe navigating through the medina at night.

Best value in Marrakech. Exponentially better food for a fraction more than the run of the mill spots. Exceptional service. Perfect setting. Really impressed. The lamb tagine was so tender and delicious! Only 180 mad!

Restaurant has been there for a while and is still a good choice. The location in the souk makes it a unique experience. I definitely prefer the evening atmosphere though. Approved by @tamocross. Follow me on Instagram for more!

Very nice rooftop. Food is very nice and high quality. Prices are a good bit higher than other restaurants but still reasonable considering quality. Deserts was amazing
