We would come back without hesitation! We were very warmly welcomed by Tatiana with the typical mint tea on the rooftop terrace. She gave us helpful tips what to visit, where to eat and how to get around. A private transfer from the airport to the riad and back (15€ each direction) and a driver for a day trip to Essaouira (110€) was organized for us. The authentic riad is located in a quiet part of the busy medina next to the Moulay el Yazid mosque, on which you have a beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. The tasty breakfast is also served on the rooftop terrace. In the neighborhood there are the Bab Agnaou Gate, the Saadian tombs, a supermarket, a currency exchange office and really nice restaurants, that serve very tasty moroccan food. I stayed here for a month and had such an amazing stay. The Riad is in such a good location. Everyone was so helpful and friendly which made my stay really easy and comfortable. I am gluten free vegan and they made sure I had a good breakfast with lots of fruit. The terrace is perfect for relaxing. Rachid and Nadia are amazing and look after you really well. The hosts are really helpful and help you book trips, massages etc. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The Riad is in the best spot for me, in the Médina but not in a crowded and noisy place. The best thing of the Riad is Rashid. Great soul who made us feel at home. The rooms are so beautifully decorated with simple muted colours. The showers always have hot water with great pressure. The beds are big and very comfortable. A hairdryer is provided. The rooms are cleaned daily. The staff are incredibly kind and will go to any length to help make your stay as perfect as possible. They have a driver and can arrange any excursion for you. The back bone of this Riad is Rashid, with his gentle smile, and makes you feel at home the minute you arrive. He will prepare you a breakfast of Moroccan bread’s, honey, jams, mint tea, coffee, yogurts and fruits. All served on the rooftop terrace, in the sunshine overlooking the mosque. There is nothing negative to say about this place. Just one tip…..bring ear plugs if you don’t wish to be woken by the 6am pray call! But if you forget them the Riad has them available. Every part of the city will have a mosque so this is standard in all Riads. I think it adds to the charm of Marrakesh! Thank you all for making this a perfect Christmas holiday.
