This Riad is located in the Kasbah near the tombs and Royal Palace about a 12 min walk to the Marrakech Medina. It is quiet, amazingly clean and beautiful. There is a plunge pool and rooftop breakfast is substantial. They will make dinner for you if requested in advance. Have Hamza forward you a video of walking directions from the Moulay el Yazid Mosque. Fantastic! Loved my stay and when I return I will book here again. Plan ahead! They are often at capacity

By far my favourite place that I stayed at. The entire Riad is beautiful and very clean. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my girlfriend and I with everything that we needed. Breakfast was included. We were served the typical Moroccan breakfast with all the trimmings. My room was so nice and cozy. I could have slept in the bed all day long. My only regret about this place is not booking additional days

In March 2023 we had the pleasure of staying at an incredibly beautiful accommodation that provided us with a genuinely warm and authentic Moroccan experience. Hamza (the owner of the riad) welcomed us warmly and was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. He took time for us and gave us good inputs for marrakech on the lovely terrasse. The whole riad and our room were lovely.The charm and ambiance of the place, with its authentic Moroccan decor, added to the overall appeal. Especially we loved the details in the bathroom and the handmade marocan doors. The riad is away from the hustle and bustle of merida, and that was good for relaxing. There is a small market near from the riad. The staff were very friendly and approachable, always ready to assist us with any needs or inquiries we had. Their kindness and genuine hospitality added to the positive experience. We had really good breakfast with fresh orange juice. We also had the opportunity to join an excursion (3 valley tour) organized by the accommodation, which turned out to be a great experience. It allowed us to explore the surrounding area and get a deeper insight into the local culture. That was a really good choice because we had a perfect guide (Mr. Yassine) the friendly driver for this tour. He told us plenty things of marocco like culture landscape and famous people like french montana ;). On the last day Hamza gave us good tips again for our roadtrip through marokko. He really cares that you have a lovely time in Marrakech. He also was so helpful with everything. Such a nice place, lovely rooms and very clean. We really wanted to come back but it was already booked. So when you’re traveling to Marrakech, be sure to book this place in advance, you for sure won’t regret! Stayed there for 5 nights, staff is super friendly and helpful. The Riad is super cozy, and the pool is perfect to refresh after the warm weather of marrakesh. It's 10 minutes away from medina (center) and the walk is very safe, plus very pleasing. Also, if youre a fan of cats, you'll love the streets on the away to the Riad!

The Riad is lovely, it is so beautiful, the people Hammed, Hamza and the Ladies at breakfast are so lovely and nice, they help you in any way possible. Breakfast was so nice and substantial, we went for a day trip and they left the breakfast on the fridge to go. Location is perfect and it's close to everything. They can arrange pick up and drop off from the airport as well as day trips and reservations. Overall a great stay! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Perfect stay. The team are lovely and welcoming, go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Breakfast was delicious, a mixture of fruit, cakes and pancakes. Arranged an excursion to the mountains through the hotel which was amazing - a must do!

This Riad deserves all the 5 star ratings it receives. We stayed 8 days overall. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating, you are treated like a friend from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. Hmmad and Hamza are so nice and helpful, very attentive and address any question/concern you may have in a heartbeat. We needed to have some laundry done and have a last minute transfer to the airport and it was taken care of immediately. They truly care that their guests are happy. Our room was nice and clean, and the riad itself is also very clean and new. The rooftop is a nice place to relax with some tea or coffee. We brought our own wine to have a drink there a couple of times as well. Location is also good, walking distance to almost all the attractions. Of course I highly recommend this Riad to anyone who plans to stay in Marrakech, Hamza and his team will take good care of you! If I return to Marrakech I would stay here again 100%.

The Ryiad is located perfectly in the medina with short walking distances to all the places worth to see. The rooms are clean, beautiful and with a relaxing vibe. The hosts are helpful in every way possible and assists you with arranging most activities and transport. Delicious breakfast. Will come back next trip to Marrakech.

The hotel have a small terrace for food and rest, so lovely. Nice position, quite and close to the tom and the palace. The four staffs, hmmad, hicham, zineb and houda, gave really amazing service. Food is rather local. Dinner a bit expensive.

Lovely Riad within the Kasbah of Marrakech. It is a quiet oasis in contrast to the hordes of tourists in Marrakech. The owner and stuff are very helpful and extremely friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I hate long reviews…but this place deserves every ounce of appreciation lol so here we go… This place is an absolute dream! This review is actually 3 months overdue and I think about this place and specifically Zanab and Nadia who work here, very often. These two lovely ladies work here, prepare and serve the food. My mother and I had such a lovely time and by day 3 they became so precious to us!! Miss you all ♥️ We came during the world cup when Morocco was winning and you can only imagine the energy! About the Riad…it’s VERY clean, close to the souk markets and plenty of restaurants (15 min walk) safe for women if you’re traveling alone. My mom being an Arabic speaker made communicating very easy but even if you’re not, English and especially French is very common. Rooms…newly renovated and I believe we had one of the rooms with a bathtub. The lower floor doesn’t get much sunlight but we didn’t care because the rooftop makes up for it (breakfast with Zanab and Nadia my besties was our favorite moment). Can’t wait to come back! Shout out to Hammad and Hamza!! Super helpful and accommodating that makes you feel like friends. Absolutely beautiful Riad with amazing, attentive staff. They treated us so well, made fresh breakfast each morning and even drank their tea with us. Whenever we needed information about Marrakesh, they would help. We loved going in the pool after a busy day in the city. It is ideally located near the main square but far enough to be out of the way of the noise. It was so peaceful on the terrace. The staff cleaned our room every day. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you so much for such a unique experience.

I was in town for the recent IMF / World Bank meetings. Instead of staying in one of the big hotels, I decided to stay in the Medina. Just loved Le Petit Joyau. It was a welcome respite from the nonstop bustle of the meetings. It was tranquil and I can't say enough about the owner and the staff. Hamza was incredibly responsive and the kid who was kind of managing the place (I think his name was spelled Oalid) was just terrific. Welcoming, helpful and nice company.

The hospitality of the two lovely hosts is out of this world. Well, 3 hosts if you count their adorable kitty 🐈‍⬛ named Whiskey. The Riad is absolutely beautiful- and central to many of the most visited cites in Marrakech. It is well-maintained and cared for. The pool is so refreshing after a day in the sun. The upstairs patio is perfect for spending time with friends and enjoying the evening breeze. For an unforgettable experience in Marrakech, I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay!! The location is great, easy to walk everywhere we needed to go. But the service was really out of this world — Hamza met us at our drop-off point, helped us with our luggage, and went out of his way to explain everything. Breakfast is delicious and served on a beautiful rooftop. Also there is a laundry service, which is really helpful.

This is the most perfect Riad we could have imagined to stay in! It is completely, freshly renovated and looks authentically moroccan with a lot of love into details. There is a beautiful terrace on top, where you can chill and enjoy the sun. The home-made moroccan breakfast was wholesome and very delicious! But more than that the owners of the Riad (Hamza & H‘mmad) were comforting, available any time, they gave us super helpful advice for our stay in Marrakesh and are just really lovely folks to talk to. The Riad Le Petit Joyau is a Jewel, a Hidden Gem in the heart of Marrakesh! This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed at! The managers and the staff are wonderful, professional, good spirit and always extremely pleasant! The location is exceptional and safe, in the best area of La Medina, close to Les Tombeaux Saadiens and 5 min walk from la Place Jamaa el Fna. It is super well located, but at the same time away from the chaos of Medina (it really feels like Heaven). The space is marvelous, the interiors are beautiful, with care gone into everything (each part of the Riad is studied and beautifully designed, with beautiful pictures, Moroccan Lamps, the carlage and the ceramics - just outstanding). I fell in love with my room, which is super well decorated, magic, comfortable, big and clean (with local free toiletries - especially the bath soap with a beautiful smell). I also really loved the plastic free and the fact they take care of the environment. In the morning it was lovely to be awaken by the joyful little birds in the patio. Hamza and his team are just exceptional, wonderful, always available, shining and cheerful- they make you feel right at home. The outstanding breakfast prepared by Nadia and Zineb every morning in the beautiful and sunny terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Marrakesh and the storks. Breakfast is made by fresh and local products (Moroccan pancakes, delicious bread, fresh fruits, tea and coffee etc) and it changes every day. I also had the best dinner at the Riad (Moroccan Salad and Chicken Tagine were delicious). Also WIFI works perfectly! Hamza and Mohammed gave me the best recommendations where to eat, explore and do a traditional hammam! Also Hamza was extremely attentive and kind to accomodate my requests and change my travel plans (THANK YOU)! Wish I could have stayed longer! No words can justify my gratitude! Can't wait to come back again (Inshallah) and Shukran and thank you so much again!

Don't hesitate to chose Le Petit Joyau, it is really a hidden gem. Location is perfect, outside the hustle and bustle but conveniently placed 10 minutes away by foot from all the Souks and other attractions. The food is amazing, rooms are fantastic, the pool is wonderful to have in such hot weather; but if you ask me, there's nothing as the staff. Here is where the Riad completely exceeds expectations. Everyone there, even the owners, are always there for you. They will take care of everything, and help you along the way, but moreover, they will make you feel at home. We will not forget our stay here, and we know we already have a place to stay for our next visit to Marrakech.
