We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. The lovely Frenchmen who owns the restaurant was extremely friendly engaging and chatty. We had a fantastic and very tasty meal here. 100% recommend for an accurate taste of Moroccan culture.

I think I ordered the wrong dish as I had the couscous and it was ok. My partner had their falafel and it was amazing apparently. May have to go back a different time to try it

This place really deserves a five star rating. The food is delicious, our waiter was friendly, nice and he gave us amazing prompt service. The menu has many options for vegetarians and people who need to eat gluten free. The quinoa bowl was particularly delicious!

Great place to eat and spend some time relaxed. The best pita falafel I have tasted in Marrakech. If you are a lover of these dish this is a must go place. The treat was really good and fix prices, no need for negotiation. The terrase is very nice and well kept.

Delicious food, the pitas are very tasty and very cheap. The local is nice as well, friendly staff and they serve a very good limonade. The place is surrounded by cats all over, but if you don't like them the staff will come and take them away.

Excellent service with cool water mist. The food was nice but the real showstopper was the house made lemonade! Truly maybe the best lemonade I’ve ever had. The orange blossom adds an amazing flavor.

I went here several times for food, coffee and tea during my stay in Marrakech. Staff is friendly and quick. Coffee and tea are good. Their pita bread is the best and fluffiest I've ever eaten. I ended up trying pretty much all their different pitas.

Extremely friendly and polite service. We weren't hungry at the moment, but we desperately needed a refreshing drink. The homemade lemonade was pure pleasure, the surroundings very pleasant, the café very nice.

Stopped here to check out the pittas. We had a chicken and a shredded lamb shank with fries. Simple and excellent, it's a meat sandwich but in the loveliest softest pitta bread ever. You must try one. Had an iced tea which was great too, see the photo. Service was efficient and prompt.

I really enjoyed this place. The workers there were welcoming and friendly as well! I got the falafel and thought it was great. Iced coffee was also pretty good (not sure what kind of syrup they put in it though, but it’s a strong flavor). This place is a bit away from the hustle and bustle so it’s a nice break to recollect a bit. They had vegetarian options.

Menu is in English and the cafe is located in very tourist location thus prices were higher for Moroccan standards. You will not find locals here. The staff was very friendly and food was really tasty.

Delicious food, amazing service, cool setting. 1. The service is so friendly and in an authentic way. ‘Welcome home’ seems to be the motto and home we definitely felt. 2. The food is served fast, tastes amazing, is plentiful, and not expensive. 3. The setting has cool mist distributed so perfect if you are feeling over heated from the sun. We have the falafel bowl and the chicken pita. Both were great.

The food is fantastic, making it an excellent choice for lunch. Loved the drink choices. I opted for the falafel pita and a orangeade, the service was both speedy and friendly. Think they only accept cash

Very welcoming restaurant serving delicious food. Homemade lemonade was refreshing, chicken pita was tender and the lamb couscous was 100% worth the price. Some of the best food in the area with great and quick service.

This is a not so bad choice if you happen to be in the area (eg very close to Badi Palace) The plus: atmosphere is really good overlooking the square (which is vibrant enough but not too busy / hectic). The minus: food was okay, avoid ice coffee (just too much syrup for my likings)

Service is efficient and good is excellent! The cafe bonbon wow! If you like condensed milk, should try. The lamb and veg couscous has such nice flavour with caramelised onions. The pita kefta is nice and juicy. Portion is generous as well.

This is a very nice place to eat. The pita falafel was really tasty. The chicken falafel didn’t have many veggies in it, but if you really like chicken, that’s the pita for you! We asked for sauces for our fries and they even brought a hot sauce, which was REALLY GOOD! Not too hot, but if you like a bit of spice, it’s worth it! The ice tea was also refreshing! The only downside is that I went there quite late and haven’t realized they close at 8:30pm, but all the staff was nice and they did not rush me. Reasonable prices as well.

So many fancy and pricey French, Italian, Moroccan restaurants, can't be in the same level like this place. We had PITANJIA.. And it was delicious..lemonade was a bit sweet for me, but stuff immediately solved my problem on request. 🙂

Favourite spot for my family! We came here about 4 times for lunch, coffee and dinner. The orange blossom lemonade and falafels are a true highlight. Staff are also brilliant and do not harass you like some neighbouring restaurants.

I ate there today and I fully recommend it. Me and my friends have been expending a days in Marrakech and we were new to the town, we where kind of lost, dind’t find a proper place to have lunch. When we where in the square where mazel is located lots of waiters came to ask us to eat in their restaurants, but we decides mazel cause of its google reviews. And we don’t regret it. Great food, great ambience and fantastic price. We dind’t taste the pita but we’ll probably come back in order to.

I came here after looking at some reviews and wasn't disappointed. The coffee and the food is amazing. The service is great. I had the slow cooked lamb pitta and two different coffees which were both very good. It was so good I came back the day after and had another coffee called Nous Nous and the Falafel Super Bowl...My god it was packed full of goodness and surprises as you dig through the bowl. I might come back for dinner but am full from the Falafel Bowl. Absolutely recommend that this place!

Good food, DELICIOUS fresh iced teas (peach, lemon, passion, etc...), quick service and a very efficient and hospitable staff. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick, shaded lunch in the area with homemade pita sandwiches, bowls, and tagines. Very reasonable prices as well.

Delicious pitas at a fair price, great place to stop after a visit to the Bahia Palace. Recommend the lamb and iced tea. So incredibly yummy. I also like that the servers here are not pushy / trying to get you to eat there or buy more food than what you order (common at other places)

  • 5/5 Leanne C. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful cafe with amazing staff. We came with our baby and they couldn’t have been more helpful to us. Was a tranquil escape from the bustle of the city. Try the homemade juices and the lamb pita - you won’t be disappointed!

This place is superb. The view on the square with proper shade and a nice view. They have got super friendly personel and delicious food. It was a wonderful lunch. The waiters even gave my girlfriend a card to go to the bathroom in a luxurious restaurant, so she wouldn't have to use the square bathroom. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area

The Mazel cafe in Marrakech offers delicious food with a unique blend of spices and flavors that leave you craving for more. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff and quick service. The prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of the food and coffee is worth every penny. A must-visit for anyone looking for a quick and tasty bite on the go.

Really good place. Great food, fast service, friendly and welcoming staff. The prices were really good, and we enjoyed the food. We got entrees, main dishes, even dessert, tea and/or coffee. Was the perfect place after visiting the palace nearby. We paid cash, no toilet here, there’s a public toilet nearby but it was not good, and you have to pay for it.

Great food, good & quick service, reasonable price! We had the couscous (lamb & vegetable) and Pita Kefta - both were very delicious, and the chili sauce for the pita dish was a bonus! The staffs were friendly and great, the food & drinks came out really quick. The only thing is that there were many strayed cats coming to us when we were eating - but the staff quickly helped us shush away the one what was very close to jumping to our plates 😅

My parents and i went a couple days ago to try out their food as we had gone to the one next to it- kech badi- and didnt have a good experience, at the time this places food looked great (when we saw customers getting their orders) in comparison to what we got delivered at kech badi. Mazel was miles better!! The service was top notch, waiters attentive. We received our food within 10 mins of ordering and the food was delicious! We had the meatball kofte stuffed pitas with homemade fries. Very filling, bigger portions than kech badi and very flavourful. The atmosphere was good and sun was out. Great location. Would deffo recommend this place!
