Beautiful Mosque only for Muslims to enter. Prayer call from this Mosque is very load and fills every edge of Rue de La Kasbah. Absolutely magical!

MashaAllah it’s a beautiful masjid in Kasbah. Women’s section is big Alhamdulillah. But there’s no safe abdest/wudu place for women. A lady showed me to do it outside in the garden using small bucket. Need to be careful as men probably can see us doing wudu. I didn’t even know where the toilet is.

The Kasbah Mosque (also: Mansouria Mosque or Mosque of Moulay al-Yazid) of Marrakech is a Friday Mosque originally built by the Almohad caliph Yaqub al-Mansour in 1185-1190 CE. It is located in the old royal kasbah of Marrakech, the city's citadel or royal district. Along with the Kutubiyya Mosque, it is one of the most important historical mosques in Marrakech.

Short walk from the tombs, we were able to pray our friday prayer here, nice section for women. Extremely hot and smelly, i had my own little hand held fan which enabled me to pray and keep me cool. Some women were hostile as i did not look like a local, told me off for recording an audio of the Imams speech which i couldnt understand why! no suitable WC for women either! be careful of taking pictures or videos, locals arent welcoming to the ideas of camera.

Beautiful and inspiring mosque. The whole area around it is also super nice, full of restaurants, cafes and pedestrian streets.

Can’t say much about it other than they seemed to have placed poles to support the structure. Perhaps this was because of the aftermath of the recent earthquake.

Beautiful mosque in the Kasbah of Marrakech. You'll pass it if you visit Saadien Tombs. The location is quieter compared to some other spots. For a better view, there are several Café's with a nice rooftop across the street.
