Very bad experience, slow service, we were waiting for the waiter to come across our table ,although they saw us sitting , and we sat there over 20 mins without anyone came to take our orders until one of us went inside and look for a waiter , however the order came but missing some items such as spoons and there was a dirty glass we had to walk to the kitchen to change it . I won't deny the view was great , hope you guys develop your service Thanks

You pay too much for their marketing. Other camps are competitively priced with better food, surf coaching, and atmosphere. The location is good though. I stayed two weeks here a few years ago and it was a good intro to Morocco, but there is more out there!

It was my first time in Morocco, my first time surfing, and my first time traveling solo. I could not be happier to have started my trip with surf camp at Surf Berbere. The staff was incredible- so kind and accommodating. Any questions I had were answered and arranging rides through the hosts (most of my host interaction was with Fider who was so kind!) was such a simple process. The surfing itself was awesome. I had never attempted before, and by my last day I was riding waves! So much fun and big thanks to the patient and awesome instructors, Mo and Zac. Emily was my yoga instructor for most of my stay and she was so great! I do yoga pretty regularly at home in the US and her instruction and flows had a lot of new things for me to try. I loved her classes and am sad I won’t be able to learn from her anytime soon! The chef, Morad, is INSANELY talented and the food you get for the price of the camp is such a steal. I went to Marrakech after my stay at Surf Berbere and Morad’s food rivaled (and was often better!) than the food I ate at restaurants there. I stayed in the Bourad apartments which was fine. I wasn’t expecting a 5 star accommodation for the price and location of where I was visiting. I didn’t spend much time in my room, and when I did I spent most of it on the balcony looking at the ocean. Can’t beat that! Would definitely recommend Surf Berbere if you’re looking for a surf camp in Taghazout! The other “campers” from all over the world were wonderful. The environment Surf Berbere fosters for its guests to have a positive and inclusive experience is fantastic and I think stems from the tone set by the staff. The town was just so lovely- thank you to everyone who made my experience so special! Hopefully will make it back soon :)

Tell me why the view there is so beautiful yet the service is below 0 ? Why did I have to stand beside the server to insist on my order ? ... Otherwise it s a cool place to spend the afternoon

The most amazing place to learn to surf, to meet new people, to eat fantastic food, to do drink delicious tea, to do sunset yoga... and all with a view of the ocean! Our second visit, will certainly be back again soon...

My fourth time to Taghazout and my first time at Surf Berbere. What an awesome and special place. Still in disbelief at how much you get for such a reasonable price. James runs a very professional and amazing Surf Camp experience. The staff are incredible and the vibe is amazing. Waking up with the sound of waves from Hash Point is beautiful and I highly recommend taking up the breakfast option as it is genuinely one of the freshest and diverse breakfast menues in Taghazout, perfect for setting your day off right. A big thank you to Ashraf, Yousef, Mourad and Mohammed along with everyone else making our trip so much fun. See you in 2024

Smashing vibes, great people (staff and guests) and great complementarity between very good surf and yoga classes. I write this as I'm booking my return trip!

Couldn't have asked for a better surf trip than our stay at Surf Berbere. The hosts and surf instructors were all great. The rooms were very nice. The food was amazing. The other guests were all friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a surf camp in Morocco.

My Surf experience at the Surf Berbere was amazing! People, vibes, food, spaces, beaches where we surfed... everything incredible! For a beginner surfer waves are super to learn and the instructor gives you very good suggestions. The team was super welcoming from the first moment and make you feel like at home. Thagazout, its ocean, local people and little streets are special places from me and I strongly recommend the Surf Berber for an unforgettable experience!

The location of the surf camp was perfect, right on the water with amazing views, especially the yoga and dining terraces. The staff were extremely friendly, efficient and helpful and James always replied quickly to emails. The rooms were lovely with great views of the ocean, the surf school and yoga were excellent as was the food. Definitely returning!

Beautiful surf camp right on the beach front with so much to offer! The staff are amazingly helpful and provided a beyond wonderful experience! The food on the rooftop was delightful providing great food along with a view of Taghazout (sunset was especially lush 👌). Highly recommend for a real experience of Taghazout and for the very reasonable price for a package!

Possibly the best holiday I've ever been on. I did the surf & yoga week long package and really saw an improvement in my surfing. The hostel staff and surf instructors were all amazing, great food, great company. Highly recommend!

I've just come back after 5 days at Surf Berbere and the best time! Everything was smooth, loved the experience and the staff couldn't do enough to ensure a comfortable stay. I was a bit worried about the sewage issue in the area that I read about but it's all been sorted and I had no problems. Huge shoutout to Ahmed who picked us up at the airport, Achraf on reception who answered the million questions we had, my amazing instructor Ilyas who helped me progress so much in a short time, and Morad the most incredible chef, I didn't know what to expect food wise but every meal was truly delicious. Whilst some other camps take you out at times where the swell is best, Surf Berbere stick to a daily schedule which may be frustrating to some, but for me personally I love to sunbathe and didn't mind waiting around for the tide to do its thing before we got started! Can't wait to come back!

I had the most amazing week surfing at Surf Berbere in May with my friend. The apartment was lovely and spacious with a private balcony right on the sea front with stunning views. The food was a definite highlight of the trip! Breakfast was served in the cafe over the rocks, nutritious lunch served on the beach (the dates were amazing) and dinner, served on a private terrace, was home cooked by a fabulous chef (who cooked without coriander all week as I said I have a severe disliking to it). I really appreciated this! The hosts were very accomodating and helpful when I asked to extend my trip as I was having such a good time, the night before I was due to leave. The surf instructors were very friendly and made the days fun. There is an opportunity to fill in a feedback form at the end of the day which the hosts read and reflect on to improve the experience for you. Any feedback we gave was actioned the next day which was great. The camp was fairly quiet during our stay but the other surfers were friendly and everyone became friends. We took a yoga class in the evening, held on a terrace overlooking the sea - great way to stretch out tense muscles. I also recommend the massage and hamman at 'beautiful massage'. The hosts can book for you and they come and pick you up and drive 10 mins into the hills. Both were a very relaxing experience. Overall, it was a fab holiday and I came back feeling totally refreshed and my surfing has improved! I can't wait to come back and already looking up flights for later in the year!

We were staying in a hotel close to surf berbere in mid September 2022 and wanted to have some surf lessons. I contacted James at surf berbere who was really helpful and informative right from the start, explaining that even though I wasn't staying at the surf camp I could still come along and join the group for a days surfing. Achraf and the team made it really easy for us to join in and everyone made us feel really welcome. We went with the group for 6 days in total over the 2 week period and everyone was great, the trainers were really friendly and gave us all some really good tips to improve our surfing, and made us feel comfortable and confident throughout The team prepared a nice lunch for us to have on the beach every day and also picked us up from and brought us back to our hotel afterwards. Everyone in the surf camp we met over the two weeks were having a great time, so I would strongly recommend the surf Berbere team for anyone surfing or wanting to surf in the Taghazout area.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Surf Berebere and would like to thank James and the team for welcoming us to Taghazout. The surf instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging and patient. We had a great time with Zack as our instructor and he enabled us, as beginners, to make good progress in a short amount of time. It’s easy to connect with other travellers at the surf camp meals whilst sampling the delicious local food cooked by the camp chefs (a big shout out to the Moroccan BBQ and chocolate mousse cooked by Morad!). Sitting on the rooftop terrace was always a highlight in the evening and gives stunning views over the bay. The camp has a safe and homely vibe. It could not have a better location - waking up to the sound and views of the sea was a dream and it was perfectly placed for heading out into the town for drinks (we especially enjoyed Mungo’s and World of Waves) or to visit the beach or shops. Overall, a brilliant place to stay and surf. We would highly recommend Surf Berebere!

I stayed 5 days at Surf Berbere and everything was great. Very friendly and helpful hosts in Fider and Achraf, delicious food everyday (thanks Mourad) and knowledgeable instructors with Mo and Zak. The yoga in the evening was also very good.

We had a great experience at surf berbere from start to finish. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Food at the camp was the best we had in Taghazout and view from the room balconies were beautiful

We had a great time in Surf Berbere. We went there with partner to finish the 2-week trip around south Morocco which ended with surfing. Great vibes, people, staff, atmosphere and what we like the most - not a single sense of pressure while planning a day, while still, everything had its time and place. Great dinners on the rooftop <3

I've stayed in this surf berber cafe many times before and have enjoyed it every time, we been there last week it was realy busy we can understand it’s summer time and it’s so busy all over agadir but the only thing that realy not found it cool is from Moroccan people they stay for so long and they don’t let other people to have a their turn to enjoy the coffe, the staff and the person in charge are working realy hard and they do their best to satisfied the customers they took the Resturant to a higher level surrounded by a wonderful team they make you feel as if you are the only guest in their cafe. If your destination is Agadir experience the true hospitality in Restaurant surf berber taghazout .

Very nice place, sometimes it’s complicated to find a place due to some customers setting there for hours. I always had a good experience with the service and the food there.

This was my third stay in Taghazout and my first time staying at Surf Berbere. I would definitely recommend it, it has been my favourite place to stay by far. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the initial booking to the very end of the stay. The location is breathtaking, in particular the yoga terrace which overlooks the sea. You can hear the sound of the waves as you practice which is truly magical. The food is awesome and they will cater for your dietary needs, producing delicious vegan pancakes for brekkie and homemade tagine in the evening. We also had a fantastic surf teacher who really encouraged and supported the whole group. A very special week after 18 months of not travelling! Thank you to the wonderful staff who made this trip so great. See you next year!
