Avoid. I visited the store and purchased some items for delivery to the UK 3 months ago and nothing has been delivered. The shop has ignored my emails and doesn't answer the phone.

We were referred to this store by a design professional staying in our riad and no doubt she will be disturbed to hear of our experience. After making out way to their shop we ended up purchasing a couple of inexpensive carpets as well as a blanket. They kindly wrapped up the rugs and had them delivered to our riad. ( which we appreciated) When we got home and unwrapped the rugs the SMELL coming off of them was so extreme that even placing them outside for 5 days only served to create a horrible odor outdoors ! I googled this issue and discovered that this was likely either bleach or formaldehyde! YIKES! This is stated as an issue with disreputable rug dealers in Morocco ( which we sadly assumed MB was NOT) As I have a child and 2 small animals in the house I called MB to let them know of the issue. Their ONLY response was that the “ salesperson should have told you that the carpet was spayed with bleach and you need to go get the carpet dry cleaned if the smell is bothering you” and stated that it doesn’t” bother everyone!!! “My son was incredulous when I told him this!!! The smell is BLEACH!!! Which is so strong and completely unhealthy to breathe in. They THEN proceeded to tell me that the product was “ MY RESPONSIBILITY!!!” WOW!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!

This place is a veritable treasure trove if you're willing to rummage a bit. There are many things that are new and beautiful, but you can also find some amazing antiques tucked away in the various nooks and crannies. Make sure to go down the stairs beyond the kitchen to the left when you enter. There are hours worth of things to look at...

A paradise for buying all your Marocain souvenirs and craftsmanship away from the hustle and bustle of the souk. Prices here are reasonable and no hours of haggling required.

I ordered a coffee table, lanterns, and other items at a cost of over £900 on Saturday 9 October. They said delivery would take 15 days and I’m still waiting on 5 November. I’ve called them and they say they’ll get back to me and I haven’t heard anything. Absolutely shocking.

Fascinating place. A huge warehouse of Moroccan home furnishings. If you ever want to move to Morocco this is what you need. If you want a traditional metal Moroccan light or chandelier to bring home, look here.

I didn’t buy anything here but spent a lovely half an hour looking at the beautiful things and getting inspiration for a future buying trip - I felt compelled to review as it was a welcome relief to be left to browse in peace without being followed around and no pressure to buy.
