My husband Steve and I spent 6 days in Marrakech in early May. It was our third trip to the city, which I love. We booked the Hidden Marrakech tour with Mandy and Simo, it was a wonderful way to spend three and a half hours! The pair almost immediately felt like friends, so easy, relaxed and chatty. Although we had visited previously , Mandy took us to places in the medina we had never visited before, and to which we returned ourselves in the following days. It was unusually hot for early May and I was not coping too well with the heat. So Mandy very thoughtfully tailored the morning to suit me, which was so kind. We had an incredible evening exploring Marrakech's food scene with Mandy and Assim. It was one of the activities that i was most looking forward to on our Moroccan adventure and it did not disappoint. We loved having both Mandy who came to Morocco 8 years ago and Assim, a local - and getting both their perspectives on the country and the local life. We ate so many delicious dishes and felt that we got a really well rounded intro into the foodie culture. Would recommend this to anyone! Best time.

This was the perfect tour to begin our time in Marrakech. Mandy tailored the tour to suit our interests and needs and it was such a pleasure to spend time with her and local guide Yassine. Starting from our Riad in the Medina, we explored market stalls and local eating spots that we could easily have missed, or lacked the confidence to explore on our own. We had told Mandy in advance that we don't eat meat and that I had a particular interest in bakeries, so our tour incorporated a visit to a community bakery, where we were kindly allowed to take photos, and finished up in a mostly-locals seafood cafe in Gueliz. I can't recommend this tour, or Mandy, enough. It really gave us the confidence to dive in to Marrakech and all it has to offer for the rest of our time there and Mandy was available via email to provide further recommendations when we asked for them.

I wholeheartedly recommend a tour with Tasting Marrakech, especially for first-time visitors. We, a group of four people ages ranging between 29-68, did the Hidden Marrakech tour with Simo almost as soon as we arrived in the city. It was so fun, so informative, and so delicious – a perfect way to orient ourselves in a new place. On top of being incredibly knowledgable, Simo was so friendly and easygoing – it really did feel like exploring with an old friend who happens to be a local. We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the Medina. You will see cheaper guided tours on websites such as TripAdvisor, but all of these 5-star reviews should tell you that working with Tasting Marrakech is well worth the cost. This is a great way to experience the overwhelming food stalls of Marrakech's Jemaa El Fna with a friendly, local host, and to learn a bit about the cuisine. Schedule this for your first night in Marrakech, if you can.

We enjoyed two different tours with Tasting Marrakech. It was like spending the day with a friend who is a local, who takes you to their favorite places. I highly recommend them if you are looking for an authentic, non touristy guide.

I'd highly recommend the Tour, we did Hidden Marrakech and were very pleased we did! We discovered things that were right in front of us but unseen to the trained eye. Mandy and the local guide were very educated on both the culture and history of the Medina, food and local customs. We toured for 3-4 hrs with our 2 kids under 10 yrs old, and both engaged the entire time. In fact, they made us go back a day later to re-create some of the tour, eat the same foods and shop. The tour also helped familiarize ourselves with the culture, which is drastically different to the US, giving us some comfort to visit the markets by ourselves on later days.

We had a great tour in Gueliz with Mandy and Simo. We explored the Gueliz neighborhood, both learning the history and finding snacks at local favorites. Mandy's knowledge of the culture and galleries in the city combined with Simo's depth of knowledge of the country more broadly made for a fantastic addition to our trip to Morocco. We highly recommend this tour for anyone coming to Marrakech!

I worked with Mandy on two of her tours, the Hidden Marrakech tour of the souks and secret spots and her tour of Jemma el Fna. I run a small boutique travel group called The Passenger, and hired her to show my group the best there is to offer in Marrakech. She did a great job getting us comfortable in the souks and the food tour was seriously one of the trips top highlights. We left each tour full and excited about all that Marrakech has to offer in culture, cuisine, and shopping. Total bliss!

It was an honor participate in the first Jemma al Fna night market tour that you have given in several months due to evening curfew. Everything we tried was delicious and the energy of the market was infectious! Our afternoon in Gueliz sharing a Friday couscous lunch at the Amal Women’s Cooperative was treat. As was visiting the contemporary art galleries and soaking in the Art Deco architecture of the neighborhood. A bit of excellent shopping and tea and orange blossom macaroons were the icing on the cake. Thank you again for two wonderful and highly recommended walking/tasting tours.

We were in Marrakech for the first time in October and spent two days with Mandy and her team, and had a wonderful time! Mandy took extreme care to customize our Medina/shopping tour and Gueliz tour and our guides each day taught us so much about the history of the city. We definitely would recommend any of Mandy's tours when you're in Marrakech. The city, especially the Medina, can be quite overwhelming so it was really nice to have someone who knows the ins and outs guiding you through and teaching you about the city at the same time. We ate, shopped and walked our way through the city!

The guides know all the cool things to see and do (that aren’t in the books), have great connections in the city and really connected with each of us to understand what we might be interested in. Wow, just wow. Our food tour with Mandy in the square was nothing short of magical! Of our 10 day trip, it was definitely our top night. She does such an incredible job of making you feel comfortable and safe while providing the perfect amount of guidance, history, and education of the surrounding square and food stalls. The absolute vibrancy of this location is dynamic and Mandy was such a perfect resource to have to help us absorb the miraculous food, people, and MAGIC. I cannot wait to visit her again one day!

My mother and I had a lovely private tour with Mandy in the New Town of Marrakech. We probably never would have gone to the New Town had it not been for Mandy's tour as it would have been too daunting to work out where to go and what to see. Mandy picked some really interesting architectural and artistic highlights for us, as well as (of course) some great food spots. The real benefit of having a tour with Mandy is that you get to wander around in a very relaxed way and get to know the CIty a little in a way that you just wouldn't if you just did a self-guided tour and, of course, you also get to enjoy Mandy's company and her in depth knowledge of the City. Highly recommended.

My daughter and i did a private tour in November whilst visiting Marrakech and had a fantastic and very informative afternoon.
