Having
previously
enjoyed
our
stays
at
Iberostar
hotels
in
Spain,
we
found
ourselves
faced
with
a
decision
for
our
recent
trip
-
choosing
between
the
quaint
riads
in
Marrakesh
and
an
Iberostar
hotel.
Ultimately,
we
decided
on
the
latter,
hoping
to
blend
relaxation
with
the
adventure
of
daily
excursions
in
our
rented
car.
The
highlights
of
our
stay
were
undoubtedly
the
outstanding
food
and
the
tranquil
environment.
The
menu
frequently
featured
delicacies
such
as
prawns,
mussels,
and
oysters,
as
well
as
a
regular
selection
of
grilled
meats.
The
hotel
is
nestled
within
a
spacious
garden,
providing
a
peaceful
backdrop
of
bird
songs.
The
cleanliness
of
the
hotel
was
commendable,
and
the
majority
of
the
staff
were
exceptionally
helpful
and
friendly.
However,
there
were
a
few
aspects
that
didn't
quite
meet
our
expectations.
The
hotel
advertises
its
pools
as
heated,
but
our
experience
suggested
otherwise.
Although
I
didn't
check
the
children's
pool,
both
the
adults-only
and
the
main
pool
were
not
warm.
Possibly
this
changes
in
the
winter,
but
in
late
May,
the
water
was
too
chilly
for
comfort.
This
opinion
was
shared
by
other
guests
as
well.
We
opted
for
a
'garden-view'
room,
but
our
terrace
was
unfortunately
positioned
right
next
to
a
sidewalk,
leading
to
a
steady
stream
of
people
walking
close
to
our
door.
While
not
a
major
issue,
it
did
impact
our
sense
of
privacy
slightly.
In
conclusion,
while
the
hotel
is
quite
nice,
it
didn't
fully
live
up
to
our
expectations.
Given
the
amount
we
paid,
we
had
hoped
for
a
more
flawless
experience
to
earn
a
five-star
rating.
Despite
these
few
areas
for
improvement,
our
stay
was
generally
enjoyable.
