This was my first visit to Morocco. Visiting with wife and two children in July. Arrived late in the night and even though the restaurant was closed, was given a meal and selection of drinks prior to checking in. Rooms were very nice, we had an adjoining room for the kids to stay in, keeping you close to family but maintaining privacy if required. Meals were very good, a wide selection of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Food was local dishes as well as some more familiar ones, all very nice and much enjoyed. Staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and helpful. The star entertainment team were fantastic as were the bar and restaurant staff. Bar and restaurant staff took time to get to know you, remembered names and drinks preferences. Entertainment team were brilliant, getting people involved and keeping all ages busy day and night. Was mostly local visitors when i visited, small amount of British which was absolutely fine with me (im English). Good level of English and other languages spoken by most staff. Cant really fault the hotel.

A lovely family resort. They have a lot of activities going on every day, and you will never get bored. The staff there are so pleasant and always willing to help. You will enjoy all sorts of varieties of food. I ate seafood like never before. I will recommend 👌 👍🏼.

We stayed here for 11 days with a 19 month old and had a fantastic time. The staff were all super friendly, helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. They were great with our little boy and there were plenty of activities to do each day. The food was plentiful and varied so there was always something to find to eat. Highly recommended.

The hotel is great, the staff are great even with having to deal with the events of Friday night (earthquake). Not just the entertainment staff, but the cleaners, cooks, gardeners and builders bought in to patch the place up. Special shout to Ismail the poolside waiter who lost friends and family of friends but kept smiling.

The whole resort is beautiful. You can see that some money has gone into it. The rooms were clean, the staff efficient and the buffet food was fine. It's a real shame that you only get to go to the Moroccan restaurant once during the stay as that food was amazing. It's about a 25 minute journey into Marrakech proper, but there's a free bus to get you there and back. Only downside is that some of the staff were much more helpful than others, but the same could be said of anywhere.

I’ve been here for 2 days so far, and there are some things I’d like to complain about. First off, it’s not well maintained. The food cart outside was disgusting. There were bugs all over the food and the guy running/making the food for people was licking his fingers. The indoor dinner area was dirty. The floor had mud all over it, and nothing was organized. They don’t care about the pandemic, and they didn’t make any limit to people in the pool/dining areas. The only good thing I have to say about this hotel, is that the room was very clean and pretty. Otherwise for the price I needed to pay, it’s not worth it. You can find somewhere so much better with that money. :)

It was a nice experience. Worth every penny and more. Lots of activities within the hotel, you can stay in there for days and still have things to do. Lots of lovely food everytime of the day. Lovely shows every night, clean big pool. Very kid friendly, lots of activities including play area and kid pools for children. Wheelchair/pushchair access everywhere. I couldn't get enough even after spending 5 nights. Would definitely be trying this hotel at any other place I go also.

It’s my favourite place it has lots of activities and they get everyone involved 10/10. The entertainment was great and they get you up out of your seats to dance with them, the greatest fun with the biggest laughs, always have a smile on my face. The food is really good and I’m really picky there’s lots of options with lots of fruit. Perfect

The hotel is trying its hardest but looks a little tired in areas, particularly the bedrooms. The bathroom has no ventilation at all, and so makes the whole room very humid and uncomfortable. Some of the bathroom fixtures were broken or missing, the beds were the portable kind, and moved around when sitting up in bed. The pillows were very lumpy and would be a very quick win to replace them. The food was pretty good, the drinks were good for the price we paid for all inclusive. The activities and staff were all to be applauded for the effort put in. A couple of the reception staff were sultry and not especially helpful, but other than that the service was exceptional. The gardens and the cleanliness were exceptional too. All in all, really very good for the price we paid (£120 approx for 2 adults, a 4 year old and a baby per night for all inclusive). But don’t come here expecting a luxury holiday.

Ibirostar Hotel truly stands out not just for its luxurious rooms and exquisite dining, but predominantly because of its exceptional animation team. The animators bring a unique vibrancy to the hotel, ensuring that guests are constantly entertained and engaged. Whether it's fun activities by the pool, evening shows, or interactive games, every moment spent with them turns into a cherished memory. It's evident that the hotel invests in quality entertainment, making every guest's stay all the more special. Kudos to the animation team for making our vacation unforgettable! Can't wait to be back. Highly recommended!

We went away on our honeymoon and stayed at Iberostar. I think this was an absolutely great decision we made. Arrival was easy, and we were able to check in early due to flight changes and check out late for a small fee. The room was neat, and they provided a charging adapter when we needed it. Don't get me started on the food. Oh, there was a lot of food.. good, good food, and the morroccan tea was just elite. I think everywhere else we went, they served us tea. It was just a delight. The all-inclusive deal was 👌 The location was perfect, away from the city, but they had free shuttle buses to take you to the city. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough to make sure you have the most memorable and enjoyable experience. The entertainment team, bar staff and restaurant staff are lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. There were plenty of activities to get involved in and the free shuttle into Marrakesh was perfect for us. The food was also delicious!

I and my family really enjoyed our holiday here. It really good for family. The staff are very friendly. We like the environment. Our notes on things to improve are food for children. They can add more menus for children such ask chicken wings, chicken nuggets, etc. Also, they need to add allergy awareness in a pastry area and more labels on foods. On booking, they need to let people know that on arrival, they will pay tax. Because we are not aware of it. So that other people can know about it. Overall, we enjoyed it, and we'll certainly go again.

We had the most fantastic stay at the Iberostar hotel in Marrakech! All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The Entertainment team were brilliant, great company and went over and above! The food was delicious and all of the Restaurant and Bar teams were amazing. Great facilities on site too. Couldn’t recommend this place more, and would certainly come back again.

Just came back from here with my wife and 2 teens (13/15).. it was AMAZING!! Entertainment throughout the day and night, friendly staff throughout and the event team are simply beyond words. 90% of the staff speak full English, with the other 10% fractured... not a bad ratio for a foreign country lol We LOVED every second and have already booked to go back next year.

Excellent stay again. I have stayed here 5 times now and it never fails to impress. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The Garden’s are beautiful. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. The food is excellent and the animation team are brilliant especially Katy who looks after the teenagers they do everything they can to make your stay relaxing and make you want to come back again.

Our stay was fantastic...from the moment we arrived late at night, greeted personally with welcome cocktails, the scent of orange blossom in the lobby and smiling friendly staff. Our rooms were spacious and spotless with fabulous showers. A welcome buffet was available despite the kitchen being closed. Everything is spotless and the staff could not do enough for us. The entertainment staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. We chatted each day and they kept us informed of the schedule of events each day, we were encouraged but were not too pushy. We can not praise the staff highly enough. The shows each night were great...and the entertainment space is cleverly designed, underground, so the noise does not travel. We absolutely loved this hotel, we swapped to a garden room which was so good. The food was excellent too, so much choice.

First time visiting Morocco and obviously this hotel. What a find! From the minute we walked in we were met by a friendly reception and taken to our very clean room. During the stay the food has been excellent and the pool area clean and tidy. We were all inclusive and often this can disappoint, but not on this occasion. There is plenty of entertainment and the staff have made a really effort for the World Cup. There are plenty of games around the pool and a fab different themed show in the evenings. The entertainment staff are fun and always helpful... Big shout out to Emma, who went above and beyond to help with our trips and organise our day! I would highly recommend a stay here and will be back!

Having previously enjoyed our stays at Iberostar hotels in Spain, we found ourselves faced with a decision for our recent trip - choosing between the quaint riads in Marrakesh and an Iberostar hotel. Ultimately, we decided on the latter, hoping to blend relaxation with the adventure of daily excursions in our rented car. The highlights of our stay were undoubtedly the outstanding food and the tranquil environment. The menu frequently featured delicacies such as prawns, mussels, and oysters, as well as a regular selection of grilled meats. The hotel is nestled within a spacious garden, providing a peaceful backdrop of bird songs. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the majority of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. However, there were a few aspects that didn't quite meet our expectations. The hotel advertises its pools as heated, but our experience suggested otherwise. Although I didn't check the children's pool, both the adults-only and the main pool were not warm. Possibly this changes in the winter, but in late May, the water was too chilly for comfort. This opinion was shared by other guests as well. We opted for a 'garden-view' room, but our terrace was unfortunately positioned right next to a sidewalk, leading to a steady stream of people walking close to our door. While not a major issue, it did impact our sense of privacy slightly. In conclusion, while the hotel is quite nice, it didn't fully live up to our expectations. Given the amount we paid, we had hoped for a more flawless experience to earn a five-star rating. Despite these few areas for improvement, our stay was generally enjoyable.

The vest customer service from a large hotel, feels like a small family run place. The staff seem to get on well and enjoy their work. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a little way out from the centre, but you can get a shuttle bus into town if you wish or taxi

  • 5/5 Katrina C. 11 months ago on Google
I stayed at the hotel at the end of May and was initially concerned that it wasn't an adult-only establishment. However, the hotel is designed so intelligently that children and adults never cross paths. There are plenty of entertainment options specifically catered to adults, and they even have a separate, immaculate pool (if I remember correctly, the water temperature was 22°C throughout my stay, but please correct me if I'm mistaken). The staff are absolute superstars—every interaction is accompanied by a beautiful smile that makes you feel like a beloved A-list celebrity or a long-awaited, adorable relative.

Nice enough hotel. Buffet is great and grateful for it for all meals. A bit distant from Marrakech Old Town. Some more thought into services and flexibility would be helpful. Special restaurant and shuttle to town needs 24 hours notice, and restaurant fully booked when we arrived for a 2 night stay. The pool and surrounding facilities shut early and so does the gym. Beds could be prepared with joint top layer for couples straight away rather than presenting two singles.

Great hotel. Love the grounds, rooms were comfortable. Nice pools although a bit basic. Whole towel system needs a bit of a rethink, having to make a deposit and hand over cards and keep receipts is really bizarre and just not acceptable for somewhere like this. Some basic things missing from the rooms such as coffee and shower cap. Also this is 2023, having people smoking everywhere is really bad at times. If you hate smoking then I can’t recommend this place as it really is everywhere. Just have a couple of smoking points would really improve the whole place. Food was ok and had a bit of variety which was good but it’s still buffet food so set your expectations low. Gym was fantastic for a hotel. Overall nice stay, staff were lovely and friendly just room for improvement to not give 5 stars

Im not the best at leaving reviews or remembering to leave reviews! Very sorry for the delay guys! I spent a week at this amazing hotel in May with my mum & my 3 year old son. It was excellent in every sense possible. The room which was upgraded to a interconnecting room due to an issue with the suite i had booked, was a blessing in disguise! Mum is a horrible snorer so i had a great night’s sleep every night! 😅 champagne on arrival which was a nice touch 😁. The room was cleaned everyday and towels changed daily, fresh bottle of water daily & clean water dispenser at every corner of the hotel. The food (gosh the food!! I looked forward to each meal, i was eating breakfast everyday it was pure bliss 😩), and I was so happy they had microwaves in the dining hall to warm/make my sons food as he is a very fussy eater. The drink choices were so lovely & unimited! (for all inclusive guests) All of the staff that work so hard to provide us lovely meals thank you so much guys, your customer service was so lovely. The layout & architectural scenery was divine wow! & the pools! (My son wasnt too happy with how hot it was in morocco but he was soo happy to have the kids play area & pool! It was his happy place! Aswel as any room with aircon 🙈 I loved the entertainment! They put such great time & thought into it. I tried to stay up to watch it but couldnt make it every night (catching up on sleep) but all the excursions were amazing! I think i did everything i wanted to do! From quadbiking to camel riding to the traditional moroccon show! I literally loved everything. It was the best experience i have ever had! I left feeling so relaxed and pampered! Lets not get started on the spa! I went back twice! I had a hot stone massage, swedish massage with moroccon experience in the hamman. My mum also loved it & felt so pampered! Thank you to all the women there, they work soo hard! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! They really do cater to you! Thank you so much for making my first trip to your beautiful country full of beautiful people such a memorable one! The staff were absolutely amazing & welcoming!! I literally can not fault you guys at all..I will definitely be back (without my mum 😅😉)

This hotel is amazing! We could not get enough of it. They have activities to keep you entertained during your stay, which are included in the all inclusive package. The staff are so kind and considerate. The rooms were cleaned very well and the food was flavourful. We were able to also organise excursions and the staff helped to make the process easy. They had entertainment in the evening which was inclusive and family friendly. The grounds are well maintained. They have 2 swimming pools, one is quiet if you’re looking to sun bath and read them the other one is lovely with music and activities. Both have bars. All in all a wonderful experience!

The hotel was great I enjoyed my stay the entertainment team were all fantastic and full of enthusiasm, the food was great traditional dishes mixed with some for the masses. All the staff were very friendly through from the bars to the restaurant would recommend 👍🏻

Had a fantastic holiday, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Theres always a great selection of food in the restaurant, Rooms are cleaned daily and fresh. Its mainly a french speaking hotel but that doesn't dismiss from the experience. The adult only pool isn't easy to get in and out of if you have mobility problems as the steps are straight up and down where the family pool is easier to access.

I stayed at Palmeraie for a week just before Christmas and I was blown away! The place is amazing. A wonderful location, super super clean everywhere, the pool is great and the facilities are amazing. The gym is the biggest and best hotel gym I've ever used, and the Spa is amazing. More than this, the staff are absolutely lovely. I would like to say a special thank you to Amal and Katie who were so accommodating to kids, adults and families! Would highly recommend :)

The people make this place. We were really well looked after and they made a great fuss of our daughter. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean but basic. The food is solid and plentiful. It’s a huge complex, 3 pools - a kids pool and 2 others each with their own vibe - activities going on around all the time which is great for entertaining those with energy, while those who want to relax have the space to do so. Thank you for having us, we had a great time.

  • 4/5 Tawny O. 2 years ago on Google
Too far out from Marrakech for us. Room layout not ideal. Toilet and bathroom all in one. Bathroom doors open out onto narrow hall and clashed with wardrobe doors if other person was getting something out. Definitely family friendly. Was separate adult only pool though. Lots of sport on site including putting green, practise nets and short par three for chipping practice for the golfers out there. Some staff friendly and sociable. Small animal farm/zoo area and a jogging track round outer edge of grounds.

A brilliant all inclusive hotel, amazing food, activities, facilities and staff. In particular Simo, Piriss and Katy stood out. They were always eager to get me into activities and worked very hard all the time, they became great friends. One of the best holidays I’ve had and by far the best hotel, I would highly recommend going there, especially if you have children of any age

Just finished a weeks stay here A good sized resort which has many different facilities ideal for families Rooms are okay, the WIFI can be hit and miss Mosquito season is in full swing now staff supplied us with a spray Aircon wasn't working properly had to let them know many times to sort it out eventually got there in the end but had one terrible night sleep Animation team is good Food is also okay mainly the same stuff most days there is a nice BBQ with different options though The swimming pools are of good standard would have been nicer if there was an adult water slide but not a major issue There's even a little farm at the back this could have been displayed better though the customers should be given a resort map as not everyone will know about it All in all it was good this is my second Iberostar stay and will try another one again as they have good standards around the world.

Amazing staff Fresh food, new themes everyday Shuttle service to city and markets and sights. Relaxing areas around resort Entertainment and sporting activities for all ages. Loved it ✅

The food wasn't good at the resort, but that's generally to be expected at all-inclusives. I enjoyed the beer though! The resort and service were decent though, and the location wasn't too far from the old or new city. There are three pools: one for kids, then two others for adults, one of which is quieter than the other. I would recommend this venue for a first timer to Marrakesh. Personally I'll be staying in a riad the next time I go.

Poor management from Sarah the customer relations manager made our whole stay at this hotel horrible. No safety or staff have the willingness to complete any request made. Would highly recommend anyone traveling from London to NOT stay at this hotel especially if you only speak English. They do not care or understand anything you will say if you don’t speak Arabic or French. Waleed the hotel manager was also highly unprofessional and rude upon letting him know that our goods were stolen! Toilet have no ventilation systems, all staff are reception just care about making money especially the excursions team who try to make extra money too.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful food, absolutely amazing staff. We loved every second of our stay and were bowled over by how friendly, considerate, kind and sweet the staff were - the entertainment staff, the waiters, the chefs (to all the chefs who specially made me the most delicious dairy-free meals, thank you so much), the bar staff, incredibly talented dancers and everyone else that went out of their way to make us feel at home. The activities offer something for everyone and the hotel and grounds are kept in pristine condition. We have the most incredible memories from this stay and highly recommend this fantastic hotel.

Had a stay early October 2022. Really great experience. Staff were very friendly. The food although it has huge selection it is on the bland side but its all inclusive so not complaining. The bed are two single beds merged to one despite the website I booked via mentioned its double bed which was a negative experience for me. But overall great value for your money.

I went to this hotel with my daughter and 13 year old granddaughter to celebrate my birthday. Well first of all the people who work tirelessly to keep all holiday makers happy are truly amazing, I have been to many 4 and 5* hotels over the years and can honestly say if it wasn't for the hard working and extremely happy staff the hotel would not be the same. Everyone went out of their way to make sure they remembered you and always had a smile and kind word and the man who served our drinks around the pool remembered our drinks from the very first day. The food in the buffet was of extremely good quality and was always fresh and well displayed, the desert section was especially nice. The all inclusive drinks were very good and nice big measures, lovely cocktails and the rose wine was especially good. On one evening they invited us to a champagne cocktail party around the pool where they had unlimited champagne and cocktails as well as canapés. There was a magic man entertaining everyone and it was a very enjoyable evening. The entertainment team are absolutely amazing and the nightly shows we're fantastic, you have to admire all their energy and enthusiasm. The rooms are lovely and well kept by the maid who came in every day, nice hairdryer in the room as well as toiletries and a free safe. If you are looking to go to marrakech and have children of any age this is the place for you, trust me you won't be disappointed.

Amazing accommodation, arrived 24/09/22 and departed 01/10/22. Loads to do and loads to see within Marrakech - hotel is stunning, pool is great with loads of sun beds, entertainment such as cooking lessons / language lessons / water sports etc.. the hotels spa offers a wide range of massages and treatments alongside a steam room (loved). All staff so polite and welcoming, special mentions to bar staff along poolside and housekeeping staff, friendly and kind:) The hotel also offers a free coach to travel into Marrakech city where you will find loads of shops and market/stools selling clothing and all sorts and pick up. Would definitely recommend the quad biking (5:30pm slot) as you watch the sunset, lovely pics to take while there and we were given Moroccan tea and some bits to snack on. Great experience visiting this hotel, cocktails and food were excellent. There were always different varieties of food to choose from and lots of option for vegetarians. Only complaint would be the pillows as they were a bit hard - other than that everything and everyone within this hotel was fantastic :)
