Beautiful area. You'll get a panoramic view of the Sydney harbour, including the bridge, the opera house and as well as the skyline. The only gripe I have is the accessibility. Not everyone is energetic with good stamina. It's a bit too far from the Circular Quay station, or a 25 minute walk at most, via the Royal Botanic Gardens. They should make a shortcut, from the station, that leads here. If a pathway existed straight to this area, it will be a 15 minute walk at most, according to my calculations on Google maps.

Ethereal experience, priceless vistas of this stupendous harbour city of Sydney. This is of course the entire Promenade from Mrs. Macquarie Point to Benelong Point (where the Sydney Opera House stands). This is one of the vantage points to really appreciate the beauty of this city. The land meeting the sea and embrace by the stunning blue horizon! Absolutely worth visiting and exploring for all ages.

After our group walk from Hyde Park, passing through St Mary's Cathedral, the Art Gallery of New South Wales & taking Mrs Macquaries Road & round the corner to view Mrs Macquarie Chair, we stopped for a break at the Harbour View Lawn. We were welcomed by a very impressive and superb view of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The Harbour View Lawn is an ideal place for kids to run free, have a good lie down on the lawn, just admiring the view and enjoy your picnic. The lawn, plants, trees, shrubs etc are well maintained and managed by several gardeners. A very ideal place for families to enjoy and tourists alike.

Gorgeous location especially late afternoon because the sun shine. on hot days the large trees provide shade for people to lay under. We enjoyed many afternoons here especially when going to the Handel opera. We arrived early and bought a bottle of wine and some food from busby's bar and had a romantic sunset.

Had my wedding ceremony here and it was amazing. The view is second to none. Only drama I had was during the booking process where they raised the prices as we went to confirm the booking and wouldn’t honour our original quote. Other than this the views are amazing.

The location is perfect for a wedding or any special occasion/function. The decoration were beautiful for a weddingwhich I attended recently. You can view the harbour and opera. Its picture perfect. Restrooms are nearby which makes it easy. Cafe cove is also in the next lawns. It was easy to grab a coffee.

(Translated by Google) After a nice walk, among lawns, plants of all kinds and flowers, we arrive and this panorama is very suggestive. Continuing, the satisfaction will increase by meter, to the extreme point, to Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Proseguendo, la soddisfazione aumenterà di mentro in metro, fino alla punta estrema, al Mrs Macquarie's Chair.
