often
post
reviews
but
thought
I'd
post
this
after
our
experience
of
having
brunch
was
contrary
to
a
lot
of
reviews
on
here.
Food
was
mediocre,
expensive
and
took
ages
to
come
out.
Coffee
was
bad
and
service
from
the
manager
was
lacking.
It
may
have
been
a
bad
day
or
something,
but
we
all
left
pretty
dissatisfied
afterwards.
It
was
a
Saturday
when
our
group
walked
in
and
the
cafe
was
empty
with
one
staff
member
behind
the
counter.
He
was
unwelcoming
and
just
stared
at
us.
We
had
to
ask
him
if
we
could
sit.
We
waited
over
45
mins
for
food
because
we
weren't
told
that
the
manager
was
manning
the
cafe
alone
until
we
overheard
him
telling
another
customer
that
his
other
staff
had
left
for
an
emergency.
As
other
reviewers
have
said,
there
is
no
kitchen.
A
simple
heads
up
that
food
would
be
delayed
would
have
been
appreciated
before
he
took
our
money
when
the
staff
had
already
left.
We
ordered
a
Brekky
Wrap,
Turkish
Sandwich
and
two
Eggs
Benedicts
with
drinks
which
ended
up
being
over
$90
for
the
four
of
us.
I
would
have
happily
paid
this
at
any
other
cafe
in
Marrickville,
but
not
for
what
we
received
at
this
one.
The
'monster'
wrap
as
it
was
described
had
barely
anything
in
it,
the
sandwich
was
sad
for
$16
and
the
eggs
benedicts
was
drowned
in
tasteless
creamy
sauce.
The
coffee
tasted
watery
and
thin.
I
would
recommend
people
just
go
elsewhere
nearby.
