Great place to come and see live music. The bar needed a restock so drink choices were a bit hit and miss. Great overall

Interesting hole in the wall venue where progressive or alternative music plays to all. A little grunge and a good pair of earplugs make this venue a great place to listen to your new favorite band stretch their chords. Venue is quite small worth a weird L shaped for plan and washrooms accessible via an hall next to the stage. Lots of booze via the very accessible bar to the left of the stage with a usual list of both local ales and a few lagers. We loved it and would go again.

Delicious cocktails, dim lighting, and a cool, casual, laid back atmosphere. However the band the night we went was truly awful and we could only tolerate the noise for one drink. Shame. We will be back though! It's still great to see venues encouraging live music, and this really is an awesome space.

Funky little bar. A bit dark inside, but that suits the ambiance. Reasonably priced drinks and often has good live music with only a minimal cover charge. Good local beer on tap.

Excellent bar for live music and drinks. It's a bit small, but that helps the live music sound great! The DJ plays great music when there isn't a live band. Highly recommended!

Music was good and atmosphere is pretty good - except when pinball machine being used during the live performance. Spirits are OK but wine...?...I wouldn't even use for brushing my teeth where water's undrinkable.

Hideaway Bar is one of my favourite live music venues in Sydney for smaller gigs(often Free Entry). Has a great vibe/atmosphere, they support a lot of local bands and a variety of styles of music. Perfect place for a drink before going to bigger shows at Enmore Theatre.

Whoever took over this venue from the last owner really knows what they're doing Sydneys best new small live music venue. Huge overpowered PA system makes it a pleasure for the bands to play and is music to the punters ears. They've also managed to turn what used to be for the two previous owners the Baron blank awkward zone as you walk in, into a cool space where you can give your ears a break and chill in the booth seating or hit some pinball Plenty of descent drinks and staff behind the bar now as well. The friendly staff members serving you what seems to be a locals fave Young Henrys Newtowner, Nikka from the barrel, Patron XO and so on. But more importantly the new Hideaway bar is a place where the Sierra Nevada pale ale flows freely from the tap and Hazy little thing is served the way it should be, straight from the can. They have two of Sierra Nevada's 3 best beers "2 out of 3 an't bad" No, 2 out of 3 is f****** great And 5 stars is even better

Need an employee who knows something about wine to buy a decent drop. Heard about live music at this place but it seems to have been canned. Opted for a drink but couldn't drink the wine. Left. Not going back

👍 Made a booking and we were told we can stay for 1.5 hours. No issues. We ended up staying longer, thanks to one of the lovely host giving us another 30 minutes to stay. Happy hour drinks are lovely. Food is good. Staff are mostly nice except to one who rudely asked us to leave before our extended ti...
