Sydenham Green is a great place to take kids to the playground and the dog to the dog park for a run around. It is also a great place to bring a ball and kick it around or play basketball with it or to have a picnic with friends and family or even to bring the skate board to skate at the stake park. I believe the Inner West council should consider adding some picnic table and chair to the park.

Decent area with some benches, bbq's and a playground. Also has an outside gym with a few different peices of Equipment. Skatepark is also very good has lots of features and nice, smooth grounds.

Sydenham green: enclosed playground and open play area, big concrete sofa: a memoir of local residents fighting for noise pollution of airplanes and motorway, park gym facilities, toilet and big grass area for dogs, a popular skatepark across Henry Street, two partially enclosed basketball courts next to the skate park. Plenty of street parking and a assigned parking area next to playground. BBQ hot plates. Sometimes planes pass by low. Shops are around corner of Railway Road and Unwind Bridge Road. Playground is usually not busy. St Peter/Sydenham library and town hall is across the Unwins Bridge Road, you can spend some quiet time reading there after a wild play in the park.

It's cool that it has a dog park, and a brand new skate park and basketball courts coming soon. There's a good playground for young kids and BBQ facilities. My only real criticism is that the dog park gets very dusty and dirty. At peak times there's up to 20 dogs there of all different shapes and sizes.

There’s a button down the end of the park that turns the lights on for two hours which is a great feature. Beware the bowl though the surface on the wall in the deep end isn’t level and it has this weird bump in the middle of it. The rest of the park is great lots of space and a few small quarters to practice on.

This is an amazing skatepark. I was so impressed that I mentioned it to my local council who is looking at skatepark upgrade because the place is almost art designed as well as being an amazing place to skateboard. The bar has been set at Sydenham.
