I went there with my 7yo who was diagnosed with ear infection. We been waiting for the visit 1.5h. The doctor proscribed an ear drops. The next day the pain gets worse. I called the centre and asked for a antibiotic. The receptionist said to “walk in” and wait for a doctor visit. They had only one doctor at this day so she couldn’t promise me that he will actually see my son. I asked her to talk with the doctor that my son was already diagnosed at their place less then 24h ago and I only need an antibiotic. She said she will talk with him and call be back. That never happened.

I will never go to this medical centre again. Not only was my daughter with a severe migraine made to wait 2 hours (when she was told wait would be an hour) but the receptionists were rude and extremely unempathetic. I then emailed them (as I couldn’t get through on the phone) to get a sick certificate as she is doing her HSC & desperately needed dispensation as she was in the middle of exams & I got NO REPLY. You really need to clean up yr act.

The Dr himself was lovely meeting him in person. However this facility is incredibly poorly run and unresponsive. I had to chase them down and called over 6 times to get my results. They kept saying they’d call back and didn’t. I was on hold for 3 days to get results shared with me over the phone. Unprofessional, unorganised.

Highly recommend avoiding this place. Was told I can't make an appointment. Waited two hours being told I was the next in line for 40mins and 3rd in line 1.5hrs prior (over 2hrs in total) only to have reception constantly move my time back in favour of older people. The waiting room emptied multiple times and they continued to push my paperwork back for no reason...I'm still waiting here now dealing with severe chest pains and not being able to breath in the whole way. EDIT: The dr I saw was terrible. He was an older male who's name escapes me. He made unnecessary remarks about my weight saying he was 'surprised I had good cholesterol' and for no reason refused to do a blood screen. He appeared outdated in his knowledge and unnecessarily rude. I won't be coming back.

Had a really disappointing experience at this medical center. I was a walk in and needed an ECG to be completed. The staff seemed quite annoyed and told me the nurse had already gone home but I could wait for the doctor. I decided to wait for the doctor it is quite important for me to receive this test. I waited over an hour and half, only to be asked to leave by the doctor. The doctor was rude, and no one offered any apologies for the situation. The doctor kept telling me that my situation “was not his problem”. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong, when I was hoping to receive assistance for a medical issue. At no point during my 1.5 hour wait was I told I was not going to receive the ECG, only that I was required to wait. It doesn’t appear as though they take medical issues very seriously, and I would suggest to any to avoid wasting time and effort.

Expect a 2-hour minimum wait every time (sleeping bag recommended!). The front desk mob once somehow didn’t put my file in the doctor’s queue, adding an extra 45 mins to the wait ordeal.

DO NOT GO TO RSMC. My son was treated for a severe hand injury. Instead of referring him immediately they treated him for a week, the wound became infected and the top of his finger was amputated. RSMC WANT YOUR MEDICARE CARD. NO PATIENT CARE, NO ETHICS. Go to Balmain/RPA first, they are amazing.

This practice has mucked my husband up more than 3 times. The most recent was he went to get a prescription refill and was waiting to see a doctor. After 10mins they said that he didn't have to wait to see the doctor that they would send the prescription via email to his phone. He said are you sure I'm already here now. They said yes perfectly fine. Next day no email no prescription came through. My husband called them they said no they couldn't send it that he had to go in to see the doctor. Their reason for turning him away was they were busy and closing soon. It was 6pm when he got there and they closed at 8pm. Pathetic service and will tell other people how bad the service is.

Please avoid this medical Center if you need mental health advice. I have been seeing Dr. Shahana Afroze for menial things for a few years, she is pleasant, I mistook this for competency. When I came to her for help in a more complicated matter she could not help me. But what is worse, she didn’t follow up when she said she would, or adequately refer me to anyone that could help. I can understand incompetency, but the lack of further action displayed carelessness that isn’t acceptable. 0/10 Please avoid

I have such a high opinion of Ramsay Street Medical Centre, Dr LoMascolo is a very diligent and dedicated GP who goes above and beyond to look after her patients. It makes me so sad when people leave grouchy reviews because they felt they waited too long: the reason for the wait is because the doctor is doing their job to an exceptionally high standard. I think if the people who are complaining were the ones who needed such outstanding care, then they might not be so impatient about the reality of the extra effort that it takes for a medical professional to provide top-level service. Built on decades of experience, the skill, kindness and genuine care that these doctors provide have earned my highest recommendation.

Dr Shahana Afroze picked up something that no one else picked up after going to 4 other doctors for 6 months and probably saved my daughter's life. I will always be incredibly grateful to her for her skills as a doctor, for her sensitivity dealing with a very distraught patient in what was a very difficult circumstance and for her kindness.

I was told by the Director Dr Lo Mascolo to see only her and not the other doctors..I have been going here over10 yrs. You will be kept over 2 hours waiting regardless of an appointment. I usually see Dr Verma cause lo Moscolo is hard to get to. DR Verma I respected like family. Oct 2021 she basically threw me out of the surgery when I had gone with my son especially there to get her opinion what vaccination is best for me. Apparently receptionist failed to tell me I need to be vaccinated to enter the building. I than left a message for Dr Mascolo to get back to me. She's been AWOL since October 2021..no return call. Left 3 messages. No calls. Just now my son sprained his knee on crutches. He had an exemption by Dr Verma yet she refused to see him left him outside waiting. Must say receptionists there are the best! I'm taking this further to the medical association. Duty of care should not discriminate..will remove my files but not without a fight

Since 1989 I have been going to Ramsay, never had any issues even during COVID Vaccinations apocalypse! I rate them 5 Stars, very popular with the locals so be prepared to wait a little.

Dr. Natalie Kordjian is truly one of a kind. In a time whereby our world has faced a pandemic like no other, the fast paced life and the many struggles we all have been put through, there was only one person that took extra care every time to listen to my health concerns and respond in a loving, devoted and courteous manner. That was Dr. Natalie. She always followed up, went above and beyond and promised to uphold ethical standards as she amazingly represents diligence and dedication towards her patients. Her continued sense of commitment and perseverance is a rarity, especially at times when it is not always easy to do so. Dr Natalie truly values her patients and in addition to her actions, she has the most engaging personality and knowledge which made me more and more comfortable every time I got to see her. So if you are looking for a medical practitioner that is extremely knowledgeable, caring, dedicated and significantly humane, for all your health concerns, then I highly recommend Dr. Natalie Kordjian

Saw Dr. Natalie for the first time last week after every other doctor in this place failed me and my health concerns, and she was fantastic and actually cared. Really need better doctors in the centre overall... some of the staff are rude and have an attitude most days.

Please do not go here for mental health reasons/ when you are at a low seeking a mental health care plan. There was a strong sense of a severe lack of training when it comes to talking to people who are struggling with these issues. The doctor I had was more concerned with the highschool I went to, implied to me she wouldn't send her kids there, judgemental towards my personal life, and incredibly blunt and dismissive when I was seeking help. Again, the lack of training was really evident in my experience, and left me with a feeling of shame and regret for seeking help. There are really great places in sydney for those who need a GP for mental health reasons, unfortunately this place is not one of them, especially for younger people.

Dr George has been my Doctor for about 14 years. The support I have had in all that time has been over and above any expectation. I was diagnosed in 2014 with Cancer (AL Amyloidosis) and placed in Trial at Westmead Hospital. My condition was new to Dr George but she came on board as part of my team learnt as much as possible and is still supporting me 9 years later. Always discuses option for when I have needed invasive surgery (5 times) always follows up. Very thorough. Dr George has a reassuring manner, gives emotional support when needed. I greatly appreciated that at a time my son was diagnosed with AML Leakemia and died 10 months later. Not long after my own diagnosis. A wonderful caring doctor, extremely knowledgeable and checks out everything. Also keeps everything in perspective when reviewing your health.

Rang this place by mistake. I was after the Wentworthville clinic, only realised after the receptionist repeatedly asked which Dr. I was after without letting me answer, when I finally told her she advised me that this is the Ramsay Street clinic there's no Drs. Here by that name. The whole time she was condescending and obdurate.

Let down after let down, this place is shocking. I come here multiple times and there is around 2 hour wait time each time. Staff lie and say there is only 2 people in front of you and then I end up waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. Not one time has the wait time been under an hour for me. Often people come in after you and then they get to see the doctor before you. So ridiculous. Most the staff are rude but Dr Rishi is the best kind and caring doctor. I wish I could remember that indian female doctor's name so I can name and shame!

They said because I am not a regular patient I may have had to pay. No bulk billing for me. The whole world does bulk billing. Disappointed. Walked away in search of an other gp. All this for a prescription. Not fair. Hope they close quickly.

I’m not sure why this medical center has a low review on line. I don’t follow all that nonsense of negativity I went there as a first time walk in patient and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. From the reception counter to the nurses and doctors I was so impressed with there professionalism and care I would rate them 10/10 I’m so impressed I will recommend this place to anyone I know as you know the best recommendation is word of mouth. I will definitely make this my first point of medical advice and care . Thank you to your staff ❤️

The wait can be very long, but that's because they can be very busy. I've been a few times with my toddler and they have been really kind. The doctors are lovely, and yes, the staff can be stressed, but I totally get it! One thing I really like about this place is they have a great play room for toddlers and kids, so they aren't bored while waiting.

Went for basic tests and paid for the consultation. I still have not heard anything anything back after 7 weeks. I Have chased them up and was told I would receive a phone call back, nothing 1 week later. Bad service. Had to wait 1.5 hours to be seen.

Waited longer than I can count. Atleast 5 people waiting in the lobby for 40 minutes before someone was called. Staff wearing casual clothing, receptionist keeps reaffirming short wait times but it just isn’t true. Doctors clearly only value their own time and staff are just walking around drinking coffee and talking in the hallway. Been here a few times before and when I finally get into the room it takes about 5 minutes so I don’t know why the wait time for everyone takes an hour minimum.

The practice was very busy when I attended but they were still very efficient and courteous and I was able to see a doctor without much of a delay.

I have been so impressed twice now over the service provided by the lovely receptionists at HMC. The second time was super impressive. I needed an urgent referral for my son as he had an appointment with paediatrician the following morning. The staff sent the referral to me via email upon closing. I cannot Thank you enough for helping this tired Mumma.

This clinic will only see unvaccinated patients if they have a negative COVID 19 PCR 48 hour prior to walking. Good luck getting a swab back in 48 hours with testing clinics taking up to 5 days get a result. That means no medical attention for one week. Very disappointing! Will not be coming back.

Highly unprofessional & rude reception except for Elizabeth that is very helpful Doctor Dan used to be my doctor but I can't even see him anymore. Veupsetting receptionist there is only 1 lady Elizabeth that is actually nice & helpful Doctor Dan us the best used to see him

I have to say, the people complaining about wait times at this practice have clearly never lived in a regional area and waited 8 weeks for a non bulk billed appt. It's a busy practice and can get a bit overwhelmed if you need to come in at the drop of a hat, but at least that's an option.

Called up to ask how long is the wait for walk in’s. Got told 45 mins. Ended up waiting for 2 hours and one of the receptionists at the front was not helpful at all and almost borderline rude. Waiting 2 hours anywhere to see a doctor is absolutely ridiculous. Will not go back there.
