I grew up in this church as I went to school to at primary and high school next door. Such a beautiful church and special place. I've attended many weddings and christenings here which all went well without any issues. The architecture and the design are breathtaking. Quite a large church capable of seating hundreds of people. The statues, paintings and shrines are beautiful. The grounds are equally amazing with such beautiful gardens and trees. Plenty of off street parking as well.

My first time in this church and wow!!! Amazing! I brought my family for Xmas eve mass at 6pm and was welcomed at the door by the priest with a “merry Christmas welcome”. I walk through the doors to the sound of “angels voices” well it was as though I was in heaven. The choir and music was exceptional. One of the priest continued to welcome people down the aisle with a cute reindeer headband and a wonderful infectious smile. The nativity pageant was beautifully played out. The children were all invited to come to the front so that they could see nativity played out. The service was modern and more with the times! I will definitely be back more then “once” next year! I think I have finally found a church that speaks to me! I had been saddened to see the previous priest leave St Josephs in Newtown and was not keen to return this year with my young daughter. Thank god he led me to this church.

Hi everybody, My 2 years old son was playing train using the drains as if they were the tracks and a lady that works or is part of the church comes to said in really rude and loud tone saying that I should teach my son some “education and respect” I haven’t ideia what this person was talking about but she sacred my son with the aggressive way that she was speaking. I really think that people should have extra care with the words and tone that they are using at the fronte of kids and I never expected this coming from someone in a church Thursday 4:50pm April 29 - 2021

Beautiful Catholic church which is home to the wonderful, mixed race communities of Christian faith in the Marrickville area

Beautiful church with some nice statues that aren't limited to one Saint.. Only gave 4 stars due to the access, lack of parking for a big wedding and no fencing near the road meant we had to restrain our kids from sprinting away towards traffic.

Very disappointed and upset. We visited in order to spend some time in God's house I'm an artist so I I always carry a camera. We werin a chapel housing many saints when a male person hurried to prevent me from photographing one statue. I'd seen no signs and never once in my life (and I am 69)have I been stopped from photographing in a church ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD Clealy I was mistaken in thinking this was a house where one could be with God I won't be coming back

Spacious and welcoming. The buildings are 100 years old and well maintained. Fathers and sisters are friendly and warm. Beautiful garden area as well. I’m currently doing my RCIA here and they deliver good quality lessons.

By far the best community Christmas carols experience I've ever had. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful people. Great performances and not uptight at all. But also respectful. Hoping to get both my kids baptised here.
