Got my American oak timber cut to size from Rallis and completed my Ikea hack.

I rang at 7 am on Easter Saturday looking for 40 sticks of 4.8 meter lengths of 95*45, delivered locally. I expected a hearty laugh from the guy who answered the phone, and a not so gentle reminder that that simply cannot happen at Easter. I got Chris. I got a discount. I had delivery by 10am. Unheard of. Rallis. Regular. Reliable. Right On!!!

Special thanks to Brett and Chris who arranged a delivery of timber with only 2 hours notice and on top of that the delivery driver assisted me with moving the timber down the side of my home. Had a great chat with the team there where I was explaining my little project. They clearly went through all the options and pros and cons for each and then the cost. Placed and order over email and it was ready for pickup a week later (it wasn't a rush job so I'm sure they can do stuff faster if you ask nicely) also 1 word of advise... call it timber .. I got corrected every time I said wood lol

Massive shout out to Hercules and the team at Rallis Timber! They supplied our new skirting boards for our apartment renovation and were more than happy to help out with some cut-to-order timber this week. Great timber and excellent service, always.

These guys are the greatest. Products are top notch at good prices and staff are always friendly and happy to help. It's normally very busy though so you might have to wait and parking is almost non existent which is always a bit of a pain.
