Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍👍 Hidden gem!!! Loooove this place. So many dogs around - most off the leash. Water is super calm for a dip & it’s just super quiet (other than some barking ha) and peaceful! Some shade to sit under, there’s a bathroom here & pretty sure a BBQ too. Small parking lot but lots of street parking nearby. People often mention dogs, beach, park, water, Great, great, area, walk, play, nice,

Beautiful spot with quiet water, there are tables and chairs & shaded grass area. There are bbqs too. Be warned that there are lots of dogs and if you're not fond of dogs, I wouldn't recommend it. Parking is free but limited. There's a toilet block & drinking water

Beautiful small beach. Not very accessible for those with mobility issues. However there is a path to a great lookout on the grass hill before the beach. Sand on the beach that leads to rocks on the edge of the water. There were porta-loos close by.

There are lot of dogs running around the park and on the beach. It’s good for you to train your dog to swim. The side track towards the ocean is a short walk with city and harbour bridge view.

This is a beautiful dog beach!! Everyone was very friendly and all the dogs had lots of fun. Lots of grass area to set up base and the water is quite shallow and easy to swim in.

If you are one of the many who just copy each other don't read this. If you are one of the many who think just because others have a dog they MUST have one, don't read this. Disgusting place, terrible experience. Took my little daughter there, we were shocked that number of dogs was more than people. Stayed there for a few minutes, she didn't get the chance to go touch the water. Dog on your back, dog in the sand, dog in water, dog splashing water to you everywhere you go. This is ridiculous. Are we humans or dog entertainers? I mean it's your choice if you want to copy others and have a dog but I guess public places are for everyone. At least please change name of this place to "Dog Arena" or something so we don't drive 20 minutes to see what I call disgusting scenes.

It's a nice combination of several things in one off leash dog area. There is good grass area with some tree shade of you need a rest. The beach is sandy and shallow which is nice for dogs to play. Drinking water, bags and bins, toilets, fenced children playground and free parking are available. It is important to notice it is not a fenced dog park. Also, it might be just by chance in this first visit but the beach had a lot of garbage mostly from plants parts and leaves but wasn't very good.

Love it. Great place to take your dog, no waves which makes it even better. Nice grass area with benches and picnic tables too, as well as an enclosed play ground so the dogs can get in. My pup loves it! Shallow water too, so there is lots of area to play in the water

Probably the best dog beach in Sydney. Set in a beautiful location, has easy parking, ample shade, toilets and bubblers. The flat cove makes for great swimming for dogs and small kids. Just wish there was a cafe and I would never leave!!

A little park with an enclosed kids swing area. A great dog beach, a great walk to the back entrance of Taronga Zoo. A really nice side track to view the harbour. A nice hidden beach along the way...

Thank you, Mosman Council, fantastic reserve. Mostly nice people and, more importantly, plenty of fabulous dogs of all sizes to play with. Archer is a weekend regular and is loving it.

Dog-friendly!!!!!! The locals are lovely, the dogs are all well-behaved and love sharing the beach with each other. Also, a lovely short but scenic stroll to Taronga Zoo wharf- good for drying off!

Great park as there is something for everyone... An undercover playground for the kids, a beach for the humans and dogs to swim, and the start of a great bush walk.

Quietly little park, with a walking trail between Taronga Zoo Ferry and Mosman South Wharf. Dog Park also located here as well as public toilets, BBQ and small shaded playground.

A beautiful quiet place to take your dog for a walk and ‘chill out.’ You can go on short bush walks or sit and have a picnic. Secluded from the main roads, it’s a nice quiet place to visit.

Super gorgeous, easy living cove where heaps of dogs come down to run around. Super shallow for a long way out, barely to your waist, so ideal for dogs. Great grassy areas for picnics and also great views.

Fantastic dog beach, plenty of space and beach is good size, can fit up to 40-ish dogs. Lots of trees so beach has lot of leaves which gives illusion of being dirty-looking. Also has starting point for hiking trails.

Wet and muddy, undergoing repairs and improvements, July 2022. Good starting point for a walk to Chowder Bay and return

I recently visited one of the best dog parks in Sydney (if not the world) and had an incredible experience. My dog had so much fun running around and playing with the other dogs, and the park had a great mix of open spaces and interesting features to keep them entertained. I especially appreciated the gated kids playground, which provided a secure and fun area for children to play. The park also had toilets and a beach with shallow water, which made it convenient and enjoyable for both humans and dogs. Overall, this dog park was a great place for outgoing and energetic dogs to burn off some energy and have a great time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and well-equipped dog park in Sydney.

This place is great for dogs to run around and play in the water. It’s better to go on weekdays because the traffic is insane on weekends and public holidays. The traffic is really bad.

Perfect beach for families and dogs! BBQ's available to use plus a park for the kids. A nice shallow beach too so don't need to worry too much about slightly older kids playing in the sea

Local gem!! Lovely place to bring your four pawed friend for a run or for a swim. This is an off leash dog park. There’s a little sand beach for a run, a big patch of grass, facilities, drinking water fountain, barbecue place, and a path connected to Taronga zoo for a bit of a hike. Fantastic place. You will run into some larger dogs. But it’s not that busy on a weekday. I can image it gets extremely get over the weekend! It also gets super windy when the wind blows. Overall a really lovely place!

Incredible. Easy + free parking. Big open grass area for the pups to play on - right in front of the beach. Great beach area for the pups. Almost crystal clear water for the pups and hoomans to swim in (!) which is incredible (if it’s been raining maybe wait a day or two swim so the water is clear). And some beautiful walking trails around to Taronga Zoo if you’re keen. Pure bliss! Enjoy. Be Safe. Keep these beautiful spots in our very own backyards clean (clean up your pups poop + take away your litter). And no doubt we’ll all be blessed to create many more magical memories here, for many moons to come (including our hoomans) ? ? - Yours truly, ?

Dog heaven. This is where beautiful dogs go! The park is easily accessible for people with car spaces surrounding the park. The beach has a few steps to get onto it. There are picnic tables but most are in the sun. Walks surround the park and beach. A children playground is located on the right side. There is a dog drinking bowl at the top of the beach steps and poo bags on the side of every bin block. Lovely spot for families with children and dogs.

Gets too busy on the weekends and public holidays. Great off leash area with dogs allowed on the beach. Dogs of all sizes welcome. However it is unfenced.

To live or visit such beautiful scenery and get some easy exercise whilst enjoying it. Even in drizzly rain it was great. The whole Sydney Harbour Foreshore National Park is a brilliant concept and large/long. Enjoy it all. Spread it out over a few days (with other things in between) so as to not overdose the views, some history, relaxation at the numerous vantage points, beaches, eateries and postcard photo opps.

One of the beat spots around Sydney to bring your dog. It’s a relaxing park to play with your dog and watch other dogs run around, there is is little beach too for your dog to swim or paddle board a little, and it’s just minutes away form the City.

Amazing dog beach, they are supposed to be off leash from 9-4 on weekends but I don't think it's heavily enforced as everyone there has dogs.
