The best service I've ever received in any shop in Sydney! Im an absolute beginner to aquariums and fish , Eric spent ages with me teaching me about everything and didnt make me feel silly about anything. They'll take their time to educate you on how to look after your fish and set you up so you leave comfortable knowing how to keep your fish alive and Well. The shop itself offers a range of tanks, fresh and salt water fish, corals, and heaps of live plants , drift wood, and food.

Wow, what an amazing place. We walked in as total newbies and they were so kind and happy to answer plenty of our dumb questions. Beyond friendly staff, amazing tanks and plenty of happy fish everywhere. Thank you

Normally I don't give a bad review, but I will have to this time. I got my whole tank setup, but none of my corals and fishs are from this shop. I went on the first time to ask some information about a reef light, but end up with a bad attitude from one of the staff here... He probably think I cannot afford a light... So I went somewhere else that's a better attitude and buy everything including lights, pump, chiller, wave maker, 2 part dosing, fishs and corals... yesterday I was looked at their wedsite again and I saw some cool fishs and corals, so I think I might just give them a chance. But was end up with bad attitude again... I do buy a 1kg of redsea foundation B this time just because I was run out yesterday... I hope the shop owner see this post and will improve their staff attitude... really short view. I will move to a bigger tank in 2-3 years time and will buy more in the future probably lifetime, but will never to be in your shop again. Hope you learn a lesson. Thanks

FINE PEBBLE IS EXCELLENT. We're new to marine tanks so need more than just a shop. We need advice that helps us learn and improve our tank. Sebastian, Rick, Maria, Eric and the team aren't just helpful, they do more than we could reasonably expect because they want us to succeed. This includes visits to our house when we need help. Marine tanks can be difficult. If you're starting out, Fine Pebble is the place to go because it can be hard to find reliable advice when you really need it. But in addition to this, their coral selection is first class and they take pride in maintaining healthy fish. Our tank looks great! Thanks Fine Pebble

Cannot recommend this place enough. The best aquarium in Sydney. The service I received was incredible, the guy who served me really went above and beyond. They have gained a forever customer.

The staff here are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I went in in a bit of a panic due to a leaky tank emergency at home which I had never dealt with before. The staff took their time with me, giving me advice on how to go about transferring my shrimp to a new tank and the safest way to get it set up and running without causing too much stress to my shrimp. I initially only went in to buy substrate for a new tank which I was planning to buy elsewhere but I discovered they had the tank for a MUCH lower price than I was expecting to pay. In the end, I bought a new tank, better substrate, shrimp food and some accessories and the total was $20 less than the price of the tank alone at the other retailer! I am so glad I decided to visit Fine Pebble first, and after seeing their range of plants, shrimp and tank accessories I will definitely be shopping with them again. Thank you so much!

First time here was great, next two visits experienced Average service, elitist staff ,over priced stock at average quality. I'd suggest shopping around.

Delay on my product, was never notified. I received it 2 weeks later only after emailing them Been 1-2 months never received a tax invoice which i requested 3 times, and called 3 times. No one ever called me back or emailed me back.

Eric is an absolute legend, I am considering aquarium now just so that I have a reason to come back here. He made an absolute masterpiece of a tool fot me in few minutes to help me with my car while i wanted just the hose. 🔟

I just went in to browse around the store and was clearly not in a position to buy a tank, yet the sales staff were extremely generous with their time, sharing knowledge and were warm without any pressure to sell. Hope to see you again and put some cash down. Fantastic experience.

Great experience. I came to upgrade our fish tank. There were a number of people working on the shop but everyone was busy. I waited 15 minutes before someone was free to talk to me. They then spend the next 30 minutes plus to talk me through all the consideration to select the right tabk that fits our need. There was no rush, no pressure and he stayed with us the whole time to answer any other questions. We felt the genuine intent to find the best outcome for us. We ended up buying probably one of the cheaper ones available. We saw this was the same with every other customers in the shop. If you know what you need, it's grab and go. If you need advice, they will take their time and give genuine advice, just be patient and wait for your turn.

I have been going to fine pebble for almost 5 years now. They are honestly the best fish shop in Sydney. Like their fish, their staff are quality. They are knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and, most importantly, they are honest. I wouldn't go anywhere else if you are looking for great service and perfect fish.

Go to aquriam in Sydney. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The layout of the store is big with lots of different options in stock, tanks, and fish. They keep all tanks to a high standard and never seen any sick fish, which I have seen in quite a few other stores. Hands down the best in the area.

I bought a Teco Chiller from them to build my ice plunge. The staff are always so lovely to deal with and even helped me with my ice plunge setup. They are always super welcoming when my kids want to come in and look at fish

Went in over the weekend for the first time and was surprised how big this store is. There are plenty of corals and equipment to choose from and the owner served me and was very helpful and good to deal with. Went in for a heater after being to crystal palace around the corner and it was $20 cheaper for the exact same heater. Will be going back as they have a large array of corals and fish to choose from at reasonable prices .

Staff are knowledgeable, very easy to deal with if you can get their attention. Went in store for an aquarium tank to be quoted, and was told that they would need to check with suppliers and call me back. I have since followed up by phone 3 times over the course of over 3 weeks leaving my number each time and leaving specifications of the tank I wished to have quoted on. Still no call back, still not quote. I won't be getting my tank from here.

I placed an order on October 15. By October 25th nothing had happened. I emailed the shop and was told one of the items I bought wasn't in stock and that they were waiting to hear from the supplier if they would be getting it or not. They were supposed to have an answer by COB that day. It is now November 11 and not only do I still not have my items, but I have not I heard from the shop either. First of all, if the item wasn't in stock then I shouldn't have been able to purchase it in the first place. But mistakes happen, you know? However even if I look past that to not hear anything from the shop for over a week, and then only because I contacted them myself, and then to still be waiting with no further communication well over a week later is not good enough. I understand that we are in a pandemic and some things are in short supply, but that is no excuse to treat customers like this. I will be seeking a refund.

Really great aquarium! Run by knowledgeable and caring staff, we have visited many times and have got most of our fish and supplies from this store. The staff are very honest and take time to explain the basics to you. Definitely recommend!!

Fantastic staff who are super friendly and very knowledgeable. They take the time to truly understand your needs/wants and give solid advice. Rick and Sebastian told us not to hesitate to call for advice with quarantining when we had our first dreaded ich outbreak, they were always there to provide support over the phone. The shop is well stocked with both equipment and livestock, and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone in this hobby!

Probably the smallest purchase ever made in this shop, but the Filigree plant looks great in my upgraded tank and waiting for its resident Betta to arrive. Friendly staff and a dazzling selection of coral and tropical fish. Update: bought 2 catfish recently for my Betta tank. Staff gave me great advice contrary to what I'd read online about community fish (guppies). My tank is spotless from the catfish doing their jobs and all fish are getting along!

The guy who served me was extremely nice, we had a great chat and laugh! He helped me out with the catfish, shrimp and plants. Going there made my day!! Thank you! Will definitely be coming here from now on!!

Great place with loads of fish, and equipment. Staff are great, but at times it can be hard to get service since it gets quite busy! Unfortunately I have recently purchased some fish that ended up having some sort of illness from here, one was dead by the time I got home and the other died the next day... :(

Fine pebble a great local aquarium. There are tanks galour, plenty of fish (especially tropical and cichlids) and all the newest tech. The boys are fantastic and knowledgeable and also love a good yarn.

Great livestock range, good selection of tanks and other gear, excellent staff who can tell you anything you want or need to know and if they don't have it, they're willing to try getting it
