I will NEVER EVER be back. The food was bland. There was NOT many options. Out of the options that they did have, they were not filled so there was even less options. The gravy was CHUNKY I thought it was beans. IT WAS $21 FOR ONE PERSON. The service is terrible. It took 40 minutes to get a waitress to take one of my companions orders and that’s AFTER we had to go get her. Then it took another 30 minutes for them to bring the food back. Long story short the rating deserves a 0.3 not a 4.3. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save yourself time and eat at the sonic down the road instead.

Wow!! A great reason to visit Martin Tennessee. Feels like you stepped back in time. Comfortable place and food is outstanding. Best catfish I have had in years. Outstanding wait staff too. I am not exaggerating. They were super attentive. Do yourself a favor and add it to your bucket list of things to do.

We stopped in for lunch. The food was good and the service was most excellent. It was a buffet today. The only menu they had was breakfast, if you chose not to eat from the buffet. I’m not sure if that’s an everyday occurrence or if it only happens on the weekends. Choices included fish, chicken, country ham, sweet potato casserole, mac and cheese, green beans, rolls, white beans, corn bread, hush puppies, turnip greens, cream corn, French fries, salad bar and three or four desserts. I ordered a sweet tea and my daughter had water. It was good food, however it wasn’t worth $41.

I had a great time. Had breakfast with my Dad and got their hearth sampler. The food was great except the country ham tasted off. We told the waitress, and she was happy to sub it out with sausage and informed the cook. All waitresses were aware and served very well. Had a wonderful time.

Took a bit to get a menu and drinks, but it was worth the wait. My wife got three pancakes and bacon. The waitress brought three pancakes big enough to keep orphan babies warm during the winter! And the breakfast sampler was exactly enough to fill me up. 10/10 would eat here again.

The Hearth has reopened, again. The third time since the original owners sold the business. It is buffet only: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Salad bar is fresh, the main course bar: chicken is good. Waitress was very nice and respectful.

This place has gone through a lot of changes in the last year and a half trying to make it work. If they keep it the way it is now then they will have a successful business.

This place isn’t the same since the Thweats sold it and retired. The atmosphere has changed and some of the staff acted like they hated to be there. Food quality doesn’t deserve a full star……if the current trend continues, I see them closing very soon!
