Beautiful historic Acadian island. You need to visit on your trip across Nova Scotia.

Had a lovely time visiting this Acadian community; nice beach, church, cafe, seafood market, fishing towns, and bakery!

What a great and beautiful place! Every summer I go to isle madame to visit my husbands family. It is breathtaking. The sights are so different than in Ontario. The homes are quaint and colorful, like a fishing village. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous. Clean. Fresh. Air and water. The forests are endless and the most wonderful nature can be experienced. Do not hesitate to travel here. You will not be disappointed with your journey. It's perfect for someone looking to relax and escape. The people here are all so friendly. Wave to people as you pass in your car or on foot and they will wave back! Dont let this treasure get overlooked when you are booking your next journey.

We were here a couple weeks ago just after the leaves have fallen off the trees and it was still beautiful to see. Nice long beaches nice little Community where everyone is extremely friendly I was here with my company Atlantic ArielworX for filming and promoting the area. Everything was beautiful and great places to eat with all the amenities needed for such a small island it had a lot to give.

This island is a gem in the middle of Richmond County. Friendly people. Beautiful scenery and great little coffee shops, beautiful beach and market garden shop.

Beautiful relatively remote island to explore whether or not you're from Cape Breton Island or just visiting. Be sure to stop at The Groundswell pub for a bite to eat or stay the night to allow for more time explore nearby beaches and scenery.
