So I unfortunately need to edit my previous opinion. Since 9 months ago it’s been pretty meh. When on a table with Italian speaking friends it was hard to first get service. It was mostly us asking if we can get drinks or food. Bit silly.
A relaxed spot with a large selection of beverages which are served by warm and attentive staff. I enjoyed a beer and a cocktail all the while staring at the splendor of the Teatro Bellini. Bellissimo.
Stop for a beer
Terrible experience. Expensive and not good drinks, waiter didn't know anything about the menu. Fritto miso was awful - fried, vegetables with bbq sauce :)
La location ovviamente fantastica. Il cibo, arrivato dopo 50 min, un po meno ....hamburger con il pane del supermercato ed il cheddar che sapeva di tutto tranne che di cheddar........
Good drinks at a great price. We’ve been here a few times towards the end of 2022 and always had a good time. The drinks are cheap and decent. The aperol spritz was one of the cheapest around and they have a good selection of beers. The staff are around when you need them but don’t disturb you when you dont. There is a €1 cover charge per person but all the times we visit we are more than that in chips with our drinks.
Nos cobran 2€ por el servicio de traer dos cervezas (7€ cada una)… encima se acerca una mujer de la calle pegando voces, incomodando a todo el mundo del bar y todos los camareros se esconden dentro del bar… lamentable, trato horrible
Overpriced, no service (but they charge a euro even for just drinks), bad wine, dirty restroom, tacky / annoying music. Go somewhere else!
Total chaos. I ordered first beer, and I was told to pay when the waiter brought it. + 1 eur for service. For bringing a beer? I didn't ordered the second one.
The worst service. We asked half a bottle of wine. They said we could not have it and that we have to take each a glass. The waiter was not friendly (didn’t speak English, not a problem if they try at least to communicate in a friendly way). The toilets were disgustingly dirty (blood in the bowl). And you could not flush. At the end we get the check and they charge a service fee of 1 euro a glass. Sorry. That is too much. And the chips served were not from today.
Cocktails were the worst ever. Pina Colada awful (the day before I had one at Bellinis next door and it was perfect .. pity it was full today). My fragolate was 20 minutes in arriving after I asked for it twice. . It was weak with no disernable fresh strawberry or vodka. Food ... well to be fair we only ordered a portion of fries which took 30 minutes to arrive. Midday so it was not busy. I did seek and get a partial refund. Avoid this place and try to get a table at Bellini's next door.
Usually I check the places online to choose. But this time we’ve just chosen it on place. The waitress didn’t even say a word the whole time!(only asked if need a copy from the receipt…) Although there were 2 tables more, we waited for 3 pizzas for ~40 minutes(and additionally they were a little disappointing) The location is great, this is the only reason for which I can recommend.
Terrible place, terrible service and overpriced. We order Nutella crepes, and got a little one that cost 7 euros.
Personale gentile ottimo cibo
