It's fine as an add-on to King's Island, and very similar to other Cedar Fair park water parks. I like the tube rides the best, and like the one by the wave pools/volleyball courts the best. Arriving before 11:00, I was able to walk right on almost everything before the after-lunch crowd arrived, so definitely get there early! The lazy river is the best one I've been to yet (of the Cedar Fair parks) and has the most get-you-wet features in it. But the splash tower has the weakest dump bucket I've ever seen! But there are 4 good kid areas good for littles. Being a solo traveler, I didn't ride some of the bigger raft rides (the funnel and the zoom flume by the lazy river) because they won't seat you with another party - come with friends.

Great waterpark for all ages. Usually itโ€™s difficult to find spot on weekends and after 12 pm. So, if you want to make sure that you are going to have sunbathe near the pool, you should arrive before 11 am.

Well worth the cost to have our own cabana which had a T.V., fridge stocked with cold water, free towels and bag to take home. Plus, concierge service for our food and drink orders. (Thanks Adam for taking care of us.)Food was okay but the rides were great. Kids had a blast and enjoyed the slides.

We went to the 4-7pm admission on a June Saturday. Here are the cons: pretty crowded and impossible to find a reclined lawn chair or a seat in general. Long lines at the bathroom and all slides. The pros: lots of lifeguards on duty and doing their job to the max, life vests readily available, free water cups, I was able to bring snacks and water in without a hitch, and the lazy river was very fun and the line moved quickly. The wave pools were awesome. Nevertheless, the kids had a great time and thatโ€™s what really matters!

Had a great time! Lots of different water adventures for the whole family. Giant slides for the young, kiddie pools for the littles, wave pools for everyone. They have cabanas that have TVs and water if you want to have somewhere to rest privately. The food at the smokehouse is amazing.

Soak City is the best Waterpark around!!! They have the wave pool, lazy river, kiddie areas, surfing, sand areas, volleyball, and a variety of slides. They have multiple bathrooms. They also have changing rooms and showers. Which is a nice touch compared to other Cedar Fair parks. The lockers are quite expensive but they last for the entire day. It cost us $20 as we got there at 4. We had to have a locker as we couldn't leave some things in the car or we would have. There are picnic tables in the parking lot if you need to bring your own food. I have the meal plan so I stopped by the smokehouse. They had VERY good pulled pork sandwiches and Mac n cheese. Food is pricey which is why I got the food pass since I have a season pass.

They should keep the water cleaner and it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a setting area. The ride break down easily and they should have a capacity check so there arenโ€™t as much people. Very disappointed

There is an activity for everyone! We absolutely love to go to soak city. They have multiple tubes, water slides, a surfing area, a lazy river, 2 wave pools, an excellent toddler pool area and a kid area with a HUGE bucket that dumps about every 5 minutes. Kids love it. This is our go to spot in the summer to beat the heat!

Visited with my adult daughter and my granddaughter. She is only 5 so we knew she couldnโ€™t ride much but I was wrong. They had so many fun things for kids! We had a ball! Love that the price for the waterpark is included in the ticket for the whole park! We also got the meal deals which allows you to eat at over 85% of the food spots every 90 minutes! And donโ€™t slip grab that parking online itโ€™ll save you a few bucks too!

Had our little one with us. Every kids play area has splashes in the face and she doesn't like that. Spent most of the day sitting in the wave pool. Lazy river is not lazy. Have to get out after one lap.

Great place to escape the heat for all family members. The attractions are actually fun, lots to do, a little expensive though.

Lots of fun. Not the biggest water park by any means, but one of the best staff you'll find anywhere. Go during the week and when it's overcast, if possible; no lines!

This past Monday we made a trip to Kings Island. It was 3 adults and 6 kids (ages 6,7,9,11,14, and 15). We spent about 4 hours in soak city... though honestly we could have spent the day there and been happy. I didn't get any pictures. We took the train ride from the main park over. Once we got off the train we went straight to the lockers so we could put our clothes and phones away. They had a souvenir shop open. There was food and drinks. The bathrooms/change and wash rooms were all very clean. Everyone had a great time. The water slides and rides were all great. The smaller kids were able to get on most of the water rides and immensely enjoyed them. They spent some time in the 3 foot kiddie pool too. Overall it was a great time and would recommend.

The wife and I took our 4 year-old granddaughter. We had a blast. The waterpark is spotlessly clean. The area for younger kids is really fantastic. There are lots of gentle water slides (the white ones). The mini raft ride is really fun. The line for it moves really slow, though. The park has plenty of restrooms, changing rooms and food options. We are certainly looking forward to our return visit. One thing to note - there is dedicated parking and a separate entry for Soak City that we found far more convenient than the main Kings Island park entrance. You still have access to the main park. The water park closes at 7pm. The main park generally closes at 10pm during the summer.

It's a good idea but the day we went both of the big pools were closed for sanitation. Took daughter to kids wading pool area but didn't stay long, water was murky and just felt unclean. Daughter loved the spray park area with the huge bucket that dumps water. One thing to note if visiting both parks (water and rides) that the water park closes earlier than the main park and they will not allow you to cut back through to the parking lot if you had parked in front of the water park. You have to exit from the main entrance and walk the length back to your car.

This is a great water park open Memorial Day to Labor Day each summer. It is part of general admittance to King's Island. There is a great mixture of kids rids, non thrill rides, and thrill rides. The water is typical cool. The only issue is the popularity. On a normal day it is pretty packed. They have done a good job adding good food options. In the fall it is turned into a kids trick or treating area. Great fun.

excellent first- time experience! I loved every single water slide, and I wish we could have stayed longer

Very fun park when the crowds are low. If it's crowded it's honestly not fun waiting forever for all the rides. On busy days it's better to skip and visit the main park instead. Get here first thing to get a chair or you will be stuck in the grass. It's best to come first thing in the morning or on a rainy day. The pictures are from a mildly busy day and you can see the medium length line for the lazy river. If the lines moved quicker and the bathrooms were better maintained it would get 5 stars. The women's restrooms are pretty gross so it might be better to have young kids change in the car or the men's restrooms.

We absolutely love our local park!!! ONLY complaint is the bathrooms, which are hard to keep clean at any pool/large public place, but I absolutely hate them so deducted a star... I'm NOT alone, check out our local FB page for passholders and visitors of K.I. and Cedar parks fairs!!! Greta convo, reviews, suggestions, etc for anyone looking to travel or needing quick responses/advice

It is nuts that Soak City comes with the price of KI admissionโ€ฆ you could spend an entire day here and not do everything! The only rub is the locker feeโ€ฆ I have no idea how they justify $22 for a small locker for a day. But the rest of the experience is top notch waterpark fun!

Great place to chill on a summer day, enjoyed relaxing by the wave pool, plenty of slides and water rides if you want to. Food was good from Coconut Cove Cafe.

Love this water park for all of my kids. Ages 2-15. They have 2 places to choose to eat so you never have to leave. Plus, plenty of drink places to fill up. Lifeguards everywhere so I know my kids are safe. And, if any issues arise, the park jumps right in and fixes it/the affected pool. You get in with an admission to the park so no need for 2 passes!

Soak city was great ! Not sure if an accident has happened in the past few years but they have really stepped up on safety in the water park. They make sure not a single child gets by without a life jacket in either wave pool or the lazy river. They have regulations on how tall you have to be to be without a life jacket or whether a child needs to be accompanied by an adult. I believe all children under 52" need a life jacket and any child under 48"or 46" has to be accompanied by an adult. There is a single entry for each wave pool with a lifeguard to stop and measure kids. Kids can no longer just run into the pool. It's much safer. The only thing that was nasty was the bathrooms but honestly that is to be expected . I recommend water shoes or sandals going into the bathrooms and restaurants. We were dissapointed that skyline in soak city hasn't been open at all this year but that's truly the only complaint I have. The food at the other places was still good.

I do not recommend coming here. Several attractions were shut down. The cabana process was a nightmare. The cabana itself felt dirty. The food prices are outrageous for mediocre food. The woman working at the Coconut Cove was extremely unpleasant. Not worth going for the price or the facility.

Wow! We have season passes to kings island but have never been over to soak city until yesterday. What a great water park! I was there with little kids who had plenty to do but that being said we didn't ride any of the big slides but man did they have a lot of big slides and they looked fun! They had tons of smaller slides too which my kids had a blast with and lots of zero entry pools and splash pads/water playgrounds! The park went on an on...it was wonderful!! It was busy which is to be expected for this time of the year but if you want an empty park this isn't the place to be on the weekends but even with the crowds we had a blast! Plus it was fun hitting a few rides in the evening at the amusement park once we were done swimming! Can't wait for our next trip there! Also staff was wonderful! Thanks for doing such a great job!

My family and I always have a great time here. Plenty of kid-friendly splash pools and slides to keep little ones entertained. Plenty of staff/lifeguards to put you mind at ease. A short waking path connects directly to Planet Snoopy which easily let's you keeping going between the two parks areas with your kids.

Fun time great for all ages, the only down side is if you are planning on getting a locker for the day the starting price as of writing this is $35 for a single locker and goes up from there. Would recommend if going for both the waterpark then the regular park. Park at the Soak City entrance once finished get a reentry ticket if needed. Move your car down closer to the main entrance to avoid having to travel much farther at the end of the day/night.

It was OK! Definitely something you should do with kids that are older. My 7 and 3 year old couldn't do a whole lot and we spent ALOT of money. Pretty disappointed
