The
staff
was
friendly
and
the
location
on
the
north
side
of
Cincinnati
was
good.
The
water
park
itself
was
a
lot
of
fun
too,
but
there
are
just
a
number
of
things
that
would
have
made
the
stay
much
more
enjoyable.
To
begin
with,
the
reason
for
the
low
room
rating
is
that
while
the
rooms
were
aesthetically
nice,
the
mattresses
were
noisy
and
arguably
the
most
uncomfortable
mattress
we've
ever
slept
on
in
a
hotel.
Another
very
inconvenient
observation
was
that,
aside
from
the
elevators
at
the
front
entrance,
none
of
the
others
that
we
saw
had
signage
indicating
which
rooms
were
where.
There
was
also
minimal,
if
any,
places
to
sit
when
traversing
the
hotel.
This
would
be
nice
when
taking
small
children/babies.
The
parking
situation
was
also
a
money
grab.
While
there
is
ample
parking
as
a
whole,
numerous
spots
went
unused
as
the
lodge
forces
you
to
buy
"premium"
parking
if
you
want
it.
Given
our
room
was
over
by
door
#2,
having
to
park
on
the
complete
other
side
of
the
hotel,
and
carry
our
baby
in
his
car
seat
to
the
other
side
was
incredibly
annoying.
Lastly,
the
food
on
the
premises
is
very
expensive,
especially
for
children's
meals.
There
are,
however,
inexpensive
restaurants
very
close
to
the
park
if
you're
willing
to
drive
a
mile
or
so.
