Everything was awesome! We saved 3 hundred dollars off our stay because of the 30 percent off deal going on right now. We were able to check into our room 3 hours early for free because our room was ready when we got there. Our room was right by our car which was convenient. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were able to do everything we wanted within the two nights we stayed. Being able to pay for everything with the wrist bands was super helpful. Definitely a great family hotel! Everyone had a great weekend there and would definitely recommend!

Awesome water park and staff in the water park. Pizza parlor hit or miss. Arcade and ice cream shop same! Was greeted with a smile and after the check in was completed and our room things started to go down hill! Again the water park and it’s staff awesome but the rest really have no concerns for your comfort. The queen beds are like laying on a pillow with no fluff left you sink in a pit of body aches. Our pull out couch was even worse when we removed the sofa cushions it revealed cookie and chips. We cleaned that up and opened the sleeper mattress was terrible as well! For the price of the room this is not acceptable. Bugs/spiders found everyday. The work being preformed on the exterior starts around 9am and if you have a small child that needs a nap during the day good luck with that idea. All these complaints we brought to the front desk and not one person seemed to care not even the manager. Sad that such a great place has such disregard for its patrons.

We checked in on Monday of Spring Break. The lobby area was decorated super cute with spring decor everywhere. Long line to check in, but it moved quick. Staff was awesome- we got our free wolf ears- awesome touch! Water park is amazing! There are slides for every age! The rooms are fun and clean. We stayed in one of the “kids camp” rooms. Ice cream is great at the shop on floor 1. The kids loved the arcade. It’s a bit overstimulating - but they didn’t care! Definitely bring snacks! We brought stuff for breakfast and lunch which saved money and was very convenient. The room had a fridge and microwave so it was easy. The staff here are all friendly and accommodating- I was very impressed:)

We took 2 adults and 4 kids & we all had a blast!!! The breakfast, lunch & dinner was amazing each day!! The water park was just breath taking! We had awesome service & really good door holders that howled at my kids each time we went in the water park & out of the water park! I just want to give a shout out to the lady that howled each time we went to the water park. She made my kids day & always had a smile on her face!! She is definitely an awesome worker for great wolf!! We will definitely be back!!!

The place was nice and the rooms were clean and had plenty of space in them. The lobby and other areas including the water park, were kept clean. Staff seemed nice and professional. My only issue is the price. This place is very expensive for what you get. You could get a nice hotel at many beaches for a whole week for what a couple days here at the Lodge costs. The paw-pass type upgrades are a selling point in advance during booking process to get you to have access to several things, but it is likely your kids will be at water park most of the days and then you don't use the benefits of these upgrades. I would recommend not buying any upgrades until at least you get there and see what you want to do. If you just do one or two extra things on the pass you will save money by just purchasing that particular thing rather than paying so much to have something you likely won't fully use. Also, I did try the breakfast buffet, and I would recommend it. I found the food to be good and have good taste and was kept fresh. This was most reasonably priced thing at the lodge especially for kids in my opinion.

My kiddos and I decided to take a spontaneous one night trip to Great Wolf Lodge. Check in was fast and easy and they give you the option to add your card to you and your kids wristbands to make paying for things easier at the lodge. We were very pleased with the room. Our room was super spacious, clean and came with a jacuzzi tub. My kids are older so we didn’t do anything but the water park but it was a lot of fun for the three of us to ride the slides together. Finding a spot to set your stuff is pretty difficult though. I downloaded their app, hoping we could order room service but there weren’t any options other than pizza which was disappointing. We ended up waiting for a table at the Lodge Wood Fired Grill. We were happy with our meal. The bed was comfortable and everyone slept like babies after a long night of water park fun.

A fun water park adventure for the entire family. A wave pool, water tube rides, an outdoor pool, kiddie pool and so much more. A fun water park experience for the entire family. There is an arcade, multiple types of shops, a few restaurants ( both casual and fast food). The staff even has continuous events to keep everyone entertained. We enjoyed that all transactions were either by credit card or the wristband. We loved that concept.

I always thought this place was going to be dirty, crowded and awful...BUT it wasn't as it was wonderful. We had a room that slept 6 and it was quite spacious. It was very clean and it was great to have space for the 3 kids. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. The water park was initially SO overstimulating and chaotic. But day two, it was relaxing and beautiful. My 3 kids 6,8,&11 loved it. The price is pretty steep but for once a year or so it is worth it. $400 for two days at the water park and one night of sleep was a decent price. I wouldn't want to spend more but I could handle this for three days after Christmas.

This is one of best indoor family water park chain. This one is in mason Ohio right next to Kings island amusement water park. You can easily find out from the main road. The water park has lodging linked to water park where they have around 350 rooms. I stayed in the small room as I have family of 3. Room had one queen and one sofa bed and sufficient space. The water park is big, staff are friendly and easy check in process. You can do through kiosk or at the guest services. Once you get the wrist band then you don’t need room key or credit card, you can unlock your room or pay any restaurant in great wolf lodge using your wristband. The water park has many indoor activities for all ages. Your family will have lots of fun for sure. I visited during Christmas so they had lot of events and activities throughout the day. Make sure check the even calendar and have a blast. Best time to visit is in winter as it’s completely indoor.

Beautiful experience at the water park. So much to do for toddlers and older kids. The water temperature was perfect and the lifeguards were very nice. The arcades were fun and the story time and all the kids activities were really nice. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean as well and the balcony came in handy. Always a pleasure to stay here!

The rooms were nice and clean. Elevators over overcrowded. The pizza was delicious but overpriced. I would order my food from outside sources, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The water park was great and the kids enjoyed the area. For the price, there should be more activities going on. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the public restroom and housekeeping services. The adult hot tub was amazing and the perfect temperature. DO NOT eat the food inside the water park. The food was very bland and had no flavor. Drinks over prices and cups are scan-based means after scanning twice you have to pay all over again. More should be offered for the price you pay for admission at this hotel.

Stayed for a week with my eight year old and her friend. They had a blast the entire time. I was super impressed with the entire staff, especially the lifeguards who made it possible for me to relax and enjoy myself more than any other pool or water park. Everything seemed impressively clean. The food was decent, although expensive. The arcade was extremely well maintained. It was probably the best arcade I’ve ever been to. We all enjoyed it a lot. We will certainly be back. My daughter said it was the most fun week of her entire life so far.

Rooms - old interior with old carpets and amenities were also old. Service - FANTASTIC. The whole staff made the experience INCREDIBLE! Food - Sub par. Could use lots of improvement. Water park - AMAZING! My son had SUCH a fun time! OVERALL - 3 stars because there’s room for improvement. Not a two night stay endeavor, but DEFINITELY worth one night for all the fun things to do!

My friend and I took our 3 kiddos ages 9 and 10 and we ALL had a great time. Everything was awesome. This place is beyond kid friendly. Everyone was nice, the room and the entire place was clean, the lifeguards were alert and friendly and very aware of everything happening all the time, the room was clean, the beds and pillows were perfect. The kiddos loved the bunkbeds. We will definitely return!!!

Fun times! Fantastic place for the kids and those young at heart. Smiles the entire time we were there! The "Loft" room slept 7 of us comfortably and was pretty cool. We bought the meal package and never had to leave the lodge during our stay. Great staff! Always friendly, courteous and willing to help! Indoor water park was a blast!

Excellent family getaway. I highly recommend getting the wolf passes for everyone and the meal packages. You'll come out money ahead and still have enough for a couple Mai Tais in the adult hot spa area while the kids burn energy. The magi quest my daughter loved and they let us use our wolf passes to get her the extra wand toppers as the adults were not going to participate, just help on the quest.

Our family had a blast for our daughter's six birthday! Angela at the front desk was very sweet and helpful when we checked in. They had lot of activities for kids, and the water park was of course the highlight of the trip. The resort food was actually pretty decent. It is definitely expensive, but there are plenty of restaurants close by to drive to if you'd rather not eat at the lodge. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. Very family friendly - we would definitely go back!

Came here with my wife for our 2nd anniversary! It was great, the staff and lifeguards are very attentive and helpful! Front desk was nice and smooth! We loved the slides, the green and yellow one is the BEST! We also enjoyed how well everything is coordinated. It is also very spacious, great wave pool and we love the family friendly approach! We cannot wait to come back with the rest of our family! Thank you for helping us celebrate!

I recently brought my 9 year old down (1.5 hrs away) to spend some time at the water park with her friend who was staying overnight at the lodge for her birthday. When we arrived the pricing was 20.00 more than it was on-line. The friendly service desk gal sold me our passes for 20 less per pass, and seemed happy to make me happy. When we arrived in the water park area, it was beyond crowded and the lockers were not opening, it was a mess. The director, Krista, tried to fix it and when she couldn't, she gave me my money back for the locker and offered to keep our stuff safe in her office, so we didn't waste any more of our time trying to store our clothes and belongings. When she refunded my money , there was a 3 cent discrepancy in what I paid and the refund. She wrote me a kind note and gave us 20.00 in arcade credits to use in the on-site gameroom. We could not have been more satisfied with the service at Great Wolf Lodge in Mason. My daughter had a great day with her friend and we are planning on going back for my daughter's birthday as well. Service like this is so seldom anymore, when it used to be the norm. Thank you Krista and Great Wolf Lodge. We will see you again soon!

We had a wonderful visit. Can only have high thanks for all the staff from life guards to theater story tellers all me met. With that being said the facility needs maintenance. . The indoor swim area needs power washing, over by slide ledges need cleaning, rust on water features and roughness in spots on pool play areas. The rooms need paint touch up. Need to address ventilation also.. look into venting roof windows. Eyes burned at times.. Comfortable but for the price I expected more. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

I am so impressed with this resort. We had issues during booking and Aliyah in guest services went above and beyond to make it right for us. It was greatly appreciated and we are excited to come back again next year. Thank you for a fantastic New Years Weekend!!!

The family rooms are pretty good. Only complaint there is that there's no door separating rooms, so once a kid is awake, everyone is awake. Otherwise, they are very nice. All kinds of things to do and the water park is fantastic. It's a little on the expensive side, but the convenience is unmatched.

This was our first time - only spent 1 night. My boys had a blast (and so did their parents! )There were a lot of other guests but there were so many things to do other than the water park. Can't wait until all the slides are working again and all the food options are renovated. The App was helpful, but I unfortunately didn't work for ordering food for us. Staff was outstanding with any interaction. Can't wait to go back!

SO MUCH FUN! Went on a Monday, discount was great for weekday and less crowded. You can bring your own food and drink (they serve cans of beer so the TRUTH in my cooler was incognito). Rooms are large with high ceilings. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of variety. Arcade is a money pit. Purchased the Wolf Pass, but for a 1 night stay it is almost impossible to do it all. We would definitely go again, it was fun for ages: 6, 11, 39 & 40.

I highly suggest buying your food packages in advance and doing to Wolf pass for the kids, it makes it so much cheaper! Hotel rooms are clean and fresh, the water park is clean and the water is decently warm. Everything you need is right in the resort so you never have to leave! Staff is all super friendly and helpful. Download the app before you go as well, its wonderful! I love that they employ the special needs community as well!

Kids and I enjoyed our time here. Will definitely be back! Lots of fun slides and not too scary either, mildly scary but if you are adventurous you will be going again and again! Lazy River is so fun! All ages will enjoy! Kids pool area is great for little ones! Food near by is great not so sure about the food inside. Kings island is at walking distance!

They always do fun things for kids during the time the pool is closed, but since it's before Christmas, their animated characters sang some Chrismas songs- and they had fake snow falling in the lobby!! The rooms are larger than normal hotel rooms so there's plenty of room for eating /hanging out. All rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which helps keep food costs down if you want The pools are large, well kept up, and the lifeguards are attentive. An excellent getaway!

I wish we had brought a cooler with some drinks and snacks because the food is expensive. We ended up eating outside food and stocking up at the gas station which saved us a lot of money. Our room was clean and the beds/pillows were really comfy. We stayed in the Kids Cabin (I think its called) and my 5yo and 9yo loved it. It was nice that the hotel (at least our hallway) didn't have that musty smell that accompanies similar venues. The water park was really clean. The lifeguards/staff did not put up with bad behavior which was SO NICE. I've been to places where staff doesn't step in so this was refreshing. We booked with a deal coupon and would definitely come back in the future.

The staff was friendly and the location on the north side of Cincinnati was good. The water park itself was a lot of fun too, but there are just a number of things that would have made the stay much more enjoyable. To begin with, the reason for the low room rating is that while the rooms were aesthetically nice, the mattresses were noisy and arguably the most uncomfortable mattress we've ever slept on in a hotel. Another very inconvenient observation was that, aside from the elevators at the front entrance, none of the others that we saw had signage indicating which rooms were where. There was also minimal, if any, places to sit when traversing the hotel. This would be nice when taking small children/babies. The parking situation was also a money grab. While there is ample parking as a whole, numerous spots went unused as the lodge forces you to buy "premium" parking if you want it. Given our room was over by door #2, having to park on the complete other side of the hotel, and carry our baby in his car seat to the other side was incredibly annoying. Lastly, the food on the premises is very expensive, especially for children's meals. There are, however, inexpensive restaurants very close to the park if you're willing to drive a mile or so.

The place is awesome. The pool is great with many areas for kids to play, slides according to height. There's an arcade where the kids win tickets that can be exchanged for gifts. Several eaterys in the lodge but if you're not wanting to spend a small fortune there are several restaurants and stores within a mile to two. I wasn't fond of the fact that none of the service workers spoke English, so getting directions was tough but I get it and they were well staffed, clean place so good trade off. - After hanging out the rest of the day just how amazing this place is I decided to add photos.

Went up with our granddaughter in the morning before check-in time and was able to use the water park before getting a room. Changing rooms are in the pool area and we'll cared for. Big main area for little ones to roam in and plenty of things to play with. Her parents arrived in the evening. All had an excellent time with many things to do. Will be going back many times.

Room was a 9/10. Only fault is the was no "fan only" option on the heater/AC. Food was 7/10. The pizza is great, however, under no circumstances do not order the chicken Alfredo! Noodles were crispy burnt, chicken dry, barely any sauce. The buffet was closed one of the two nights we were there. However, the breakfast buffet was excellent. Kids had an excellent time. Overall worth the trip/money.

Our family usually stays here 2 × per year at this location but the last 2 times we have stayed the king bed was broken to the point of hurting our backs so back that we had to sleep at opposite ends of the bed or on the sofa which is not comfortable either. Also the last time we stayed (before Christmas) the water coaster was gone and many slides were not running and many of the water toys at the fort were broke. We probably won't be staying anymore . They need to fix and update things for the prices they are charging.

So much to do! Lots of fun! The staff was absolutely lovely and enthusiastic. It was clean enough. The rooms were clean. However, there was some caked on dust in the lobby area and trash in the tire tracks through the grass outside of our door. The elevators stayed tied up. So patience is a must if you have a stroller or wheelchair. But it was fun to see the kids going between floors and playing games. Overall our family had a blast.

The customer service here is beyond anything my family has ever experienced. We purchased a two night stay right after Christmas as a surprise for our boys. Unfortunately something happened where we had to leave early morning the second day. We were so disappointed. I was able to speak to Marnee and she went above and beyond to make sure we left the wolf lodge happy. She was absolutely wonderful. I’ve honestly never met someone that really wanted to make sure the trip is everything a family wanted to have. We cannot wait to book our next trip to the Wolf Lodge!

We always have a blast here! It is our kids' favorite place to get away for a night. We love that 2 days in the park are included with a one night stay. That gave us plenty of time to take breaks to eat and play outside the water park. We went on Thanksgiving Day and all the staff was kind despite being there on a holiday. Our kids enjoyed the many activities offered outside the water park including the free yoga and dance parties. We brought our own food to save money and that worked well for us.

I just went there and had a great time! The water slides were really fun and some of them were scary. The workers were very kind to me and my family. The rooms were very expensive. Also, when I got a cup so I could fill up candy it was $15 for a tiny little cup. Most of the stuff is overpriced, but it's worth it if you like waterparks! There were not any bed bugs which I was very happy about. The rooms were kinda small. There were 5 people all together that I went with and the room costed $450+ for 2 beds and a pull out couch! I think this place was very fun for big family's and even small ones to. I had a great time and would definitely come again. Thank you!

A family favorite winter get away. We always get the kids' cabin themed room. Staff are so nice , rooms are clean and comfortable. Have a microwave and small fridge and a sink in the kitchenette area. Fireplace is a fun bonus in winter. Waterpark is great for all ages. Wish there was more tables in water park area. Slides are great and wait times are not bad at all. Water was warm and showers were clean and had hot water.

  • 3/5 Darra S. 9 months ago on Google
For the experience I feel like it is overpriced. None of the amenities that are inside are included in the price of the stay. They have mini bowling and mini golf both are $35 for a family of 5, in addition to the price of the room and the water park. I recommend wearing water shoes in the water park as they have food and people are kind of rude and leave trash and food everywhere. And they have plenty of lifeguards however, my kids were bullied and no one was around to assist them. Just know that you will spend upwards of $1000 for a two night stay and food on the premises should you choose to indulge.

  • 2/5 Cara R. 9 months ago on Google
The water park was great. The kids working there did a great job. But… no cigarette and smoking rules enforced at all. Every time I walked out on to my balcony, I felt like I was stepping foot into an ashtray. To be clear, there is no smoking aloud on the patios. The place was built in 2006 and hasn’t had much updating since then. For $500 a night at the beginning of July, I definitely had higher hopes. Regulate the smoking. It’s gross and inconsiderate of those who don’t smoke. If this review offends you, then it was probably meant for you.

  • 3/5 Brennan H. 9 months ago on Google
The three stars is really just due to price. With a 50% off coupon for a king bed room it was a little over $200 for one night. The amenities you get include the water park. The room for that price really isn’t anything special, honestly looks like any other 3-4 star hotel and for the price I don’t think it’s nice enough tbh. The water park is nice however there’s so many children it’s hard to enjoy. The lazy river is full of children swimming rather than in a float and shoving past and splashing which was kinda annoying. The slides weren’t bad and the lines were fairly quick though. There are a few restaurants in the building a little pricey but not too ridiculous, an arcade, and a build a bear. Now all those things aside. Staff was 100/10. They were amazing. All very young, but amazing. Friendly, helpful, quick to help, etc. they also have this customer support thing where you text this number with the name “Willow”. You can ask questions and someone will respond within 2-3 minutes every time. Incredibly helpful and easy. Will I be back? Eh maybe if I get another 50% off but the price for the quality is a bit much.

The kids had fun and that’s all that matters but they will rob you off all your money! If you have the money to go great but we had to save and save to be able to go and once we got there we had to pay for parking in a parking lot! Then the price of the buffet was outrageous we paid $70 for three of us so I highly recommend eating outside the place! They put a $200 hold on our card which pretty much maxed us out and we couldn’t do some of the extra things or get any of the souvenirs. It made me sad that I had to tell my kid no on things because of the hold they put on our card! They were not welcoming what so ever they all seemed like they hated working there and we felt like a burden when ever we had to ask for directions. I could go on and on but even tho the kids had fun we will not be back! It was not worth all the money we spent. In order to do all the things there you would have to budget about $1500 which is almost the same as a week stay in a condo in Florida and we only stayed two nights! 1000% do not recommend!

Guess what. This place sucks. Everything there was expensive. I was going to stay there for 2 nights because there was a sale, for only $360, but guess what. They charged us $40 extra for parking AND resort fee- just why. Why should we pay extra for an already expensive visit? Now my family can't go because we don't have enough money. paying like $100 extra dollars for random useless fees is insane. 1/10, don't go unless you want to waste your money on useless fees. ITS LIKE $100 EXTRA DOLLARS than what you PAYED FOR!
