Adventure Express

Roller coaster

😐 The ride was fine when it opened, but they've neutered it ever since. The snake tunnel is empty, the mist that envelopes the first dip from the station is gone, and the foggy tunnel, which was great to cool off in during the summer heat, is long gone as well. It's time they retired the ride, hopeful... People often mention ride, coaster, great,

The ride was fine when it opened, but they've neutered it ever since. The snake tunnel is empty, the mist that envelopes the first dip from the station is gone, and the foggy tunnel, which was great to cool off in during the summer heat, is long gone as well. It's time they retired the ride, hopefully replacing it with a similar-themed "adventure" coaster.

This was my first roller coaster I ever rode so I can't be too negative, but the end was sooo anticlimactic! I'd recommend it to get you warmed up, but it wasn't rerideable.

I have no idea why this was rated a 5 in thrill level when it’s clearly intended to be a family coaster. Yes, it’s rough, but so is Racer which is only rated a 4. Speaking of roughness, yes, this ride is jerky, which is not very ideal for a family coaster like this. The worst offense of this ride has to be the second lift hill. You get all of this cool theming and animatronics when going up only to find out that the ride is over and that the lift hill’s only purpose was to bring the train back to the station. I understand that the roller coaster needs to get back to the station, but this is just not how you end a ride! The anticlimax is sure to be a buzzkill for unsuspecting riders!

Not nearly as rough as it was. The queue needs to be painted. The second lift hill has all of the fun animatronics fixed. It's a 30-year-old roller coaster. It's pretty okay.

Okay, this ride is probably my favorite in all of Kings Island. I mean its jerky and might give you a bruise or (maybe) a migraine. This ride has been one of the only roller coasters that I ride and enjoy. I love the hills but it doesn’t go straight down which is great for me cause I hate those. I will ride this ride over and over again when I can. I’ve been riding this since i was like 5. It’s been my favorite ride since I have been able to ride it. It’s a great ride for kids. I honestly don’t see how it is a 5.

Never gets old. One of the originals I was able to ride as a kid. Really seems to beat you up though. The line is always super short for this ride, and sometimes you can even stay on since nobody is in line. Hopefully they don't get rid of it

This is such a silly, fun ride. Yes, it'll whip you around and probably give you a bruise or two. But, whether you have a little one with you or are looking for something to hop on that never has a line, this is a good time passer. The best part is the ending lift hill. You won't regret getting on this one, I promise.

Not a favorite, it can be very jerky! I do like to ride it once in awhile but not very much. The line is short so if you want to quickly get on something, it’s a good ride for that! It can be family friendly but some kids may not like the jerkiness! Just be aware that it can jerk before getting on it, many people may not like that. It can be fun though, it really just depends on you. I think it can be a good starter if your kids don’t mind the roughness!

Grew up with this ride but my recent visit I got the back of the train and it about killed me along with mystic timbers lol

Adventure Express is about as good as it gets for mine train coasters. Smooth, well themed, long, fast paced, out in the trees, and fun. Even if you're thinking about skipping it, I highly recommend trying it even for the seasoned coaster lover. And if you have kids this is the perfect family coaster.

Pretty rough and not that exciting, but still an ok ride. Really great ride for kids.

Very anticlimactic. I won’t spoil it but don’t get ur hopes up at the end of the ride. Other than that it’s fine but it’s kinda jerky.

Kinda rough for the adults. Kids seem to love it. They enjoy the appearance of the giant fake hill.

One of my favorite rides here. It’s simple and fun.

Not the most exciting ride but a great beginner coaster for sure.
