The worst customer service for staff especially the manager Michelle. Went to speak to the manager to ask whats happening with our orders as we have already been waiting for 1.5hrs long but instead of talking back politely or just say sorry, no, she tried to intimidate me and brought the receipt to show us at what time we ordered?! I mean really?! Given shes right, it was really rude of her and it very bad way of handling customers. Very inappropriate and insulting. I think she needs to be trained, immediately. The staff who served our table was not very friendly either, she never smiled to us. She never even thanked us for dining. Very obvious that she was never happy to serve us. The food was great though!

Usually have a great experience here however last experience wasn’t great. Ended up paying for a $20 cocktail I didn’t order due to staff miscommunication. Food wise squid was great but the garlic bread was a disappointment, we received a warmed loaf but then a ramekin of cold butter on the side with the slightest hint of garlic, bread and butter basically and still came at the cost of $15, past visits I haven’t known the garlic bread to be served like that.

We went there last Saturday to watch the rugby. It was nice sitting in the glass room with gas fire on. We had prawn, pork, and side veggie for dinner. Typical western style food. Nothing to rave about but overall pretty good. Service was good. We will go there again.

Amazing food with lovely customer service. We were really looked after.

We were visiting New Zealand from the United States and this restaurant really blew us away. We truly felt like we were in an American restaurant. The music and the vibe was all perfect! The food was also excellent! The garlic bread loaf appetizer made us feel like home! Better than any bread appetizer at home. This is a definite gem!

Waited n hour n a half.. wasn't impressed. But the dolly Parton cocktail made up for it.

The food was very delicious! You have to try the cheese cake it was top tier! The staff were very kind, and they checked on our food once each meal. I had entree main and desert, I had garlic bread (amazing garlic bread) a burrito which fell apart halfway through but so good, and cheese cake for desert.

Very friendly service It was busy obviously but the staff and particularly lennox was friendly and polite, attended to all our needs. And kids appreciated the coloring things. Food took a while but it was busy so expected, had the cajun chicken food was average but appreciated that the chicken was free range. Garlic bread was overpriced and not that great. Mum enjoyed the lemon lime and bitters drink

Had a great night out at Lone Star Masterton celebrating granddaughters birthday. Food was excellent, haven't had a bad experience there to date. Our waiter, Austin, was very attentive and looked after us very well. A big thanks to the rest of the team behind the scenes who provided an overall great experience on the night.

We had dinner there on Thursday 3rd of August Billie our table waitress was very pleasant and charming couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately my wife's meal was not up to a high standard the chicken was tough she could not eat it. Otherwise a pleasant night out with good music playing kind regards Dennis Smith

Pretty standard Lone Star, basically same same everywhere... meal was as I expected. Bar service was average, same as table service. Very expensive for anything, lucky I wasn't paying for anything... if I was paying, I definitely wouldn't go here

I held a function here and the staff went out of their way to make the evening run as smooth as possible. The service was excellent and the platters I ordered were huge and delicious.

Place is spacious and lovely. The food was ok. Service was average and had to ask for water 3 times. Not a bad place for a meal but I don't think the price reflects the quality of service and food.

Food took a little while but had been prewarned. Friendly staff and a lively vibe. My negative is that the portions are just too big. I'd rather pay less to get a smaller size meal.

Lovely, friendly service. HUGE meals. 2 beautiful steaks - pictured is the "very well done steak", as ordered. Bread was delicious. WELL DONE TEAM - WE WILL BE BACK.

Great place to dine, one of the best Lone Stars i have been to. Probably the best part of the evening g was the super friendly and helpful waitress Dani, she was amazing!! Probably the best service I have ever had. If you are visiting, ask for her! Meals were amazing, awesome flavor and size was perfect. Masterton's premium restaurant.

Very friendly staff, so nice to visit, awesome meal and cannot recommend enough, will definitely be back. Good value for money. Highly recommend this red wine.

meals were great service was great , burger meals were huge couldn't have dessert price reasonable. Only negative is when it gets busy its noisy and hard to talk . So if u want quiet then not the place. But everything else great

Excellent food, would of given a 5star but waitress was very hard to hear as she was quiet and had a mask on too making it harder to hear her, also I asked for medium rear steak I would say it was closer to rare. Great value for money and wait time wasn't bad at all for it been valentine's day.

Never a bad experience at Lone Star in Masterton. Tom and Michelle have curated an amazing team who have everything on point. The ribs are to die for!!

Staff were lovely. The lamb was over cooked but they did provide more gravy. Finn who was our waiter is definitely an asset to your team and i hope he get recognized for his excellent service

Amazing food! The whole experience from start to finish was great. Waiters done an amazing job with our large group even tho they were short staffed and always so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. We are visiting from out of town. Would have to be the BEST Lonestar restaurants we have eaten at.Highly recommend..

I never thought I would be so impressed by a franchise restaurant. My expectations are high and I'm picky. This is a great restaurant. The food was brilliant and affordable by today's standards. One of the few places you can leave feeling you definitely got your money's worth. Huge portions, great flavors, healthy fresh ingredients. The place looks new. Hasn't been worn down by the years. Friendly helpful staff. Great for foodies and families . I'm truly surprise by how good this place is. So many places are a waste of time but this is worth every cent. Blown away. Well done
