Sadly
this
place
has
massive
unfulfilled
potential.
We
stayed
here
for
3
nights.
It
seems
the
management
have
low
standards
of
maintaining
the
place
and
poor
systems.
Plus
-
The
location
is
great.
There
is
a
nice
covered
seating
area
and
the
rooms
are
good
size
and
air-conditioned.
-
The
staff
are
well
meaning
and
try
hard
but
got
a
fair
portion
of
our
orders
wrong
so
we
just
went
elsewhere
for
meals.
Minus
-
Getting
any
food
or
service
out
of
the
kitchen
is
very
slow
and
error
prone.
-
We
had
breakfast
supplied
and
the
omletes
and
bacon
tasted
of
fish.
Grill
not
cleaned
it
seems.
-
Our
water
regularly
ran
out
in
the
rooms
because
of
a
header
pump
problem.
The
attached
picture
shows
the
state
of
the
pump.
When
you
could
find
someone
to
raise
it
with
it
was
fixed
by
turning
on
the
power
to
the
pump.
-
We
used
the
hotel
hair-dryer.
It
seems
they
only
have
one
because
the
room
attendant
asked
for
it
back
for
another
room
at
one
stage.
-
When
the
rooms
were
made
up,
we
repeatedly
had
to
ask
for
new
water
bottles
because
they
were
forgotten.
-
The
rooms
use
old
style
locks
and
there
is
no
safe
in
the
rooms.
-
Couple
this
with
an
unattended,
but
unlocked
reception
area
with
keys
put
out
on
the
counter
easily
accessible
and
people
who
can
walk
in
from
the
beach
and
road
there
is
a
real
security
issue.
Some
of
the
these
problems
are
not
a
big
deal
if
it
was
just
one
thing.
But
they
are
symptomatic
of
the
approach
to
running
the
place
and
the
general
state
of
it.
There
is
no
way
I'd
call
it
a
resort.
We
would
search
long
and
hard
to
find
an
alternative
location
if
we
were
coming
back
to
Mirissa
(which
we
likely
will)
because
we
very
much
enjoyed
the
beach
and
location.
