This is a lovely property right adjacent to the beach. The view is breathtaking and the resort has been designed to make sure you get the best views from the rooms as well as from the cafeteria. Food is decent as well and I can't find anything to complain about though it can be better. The staff can be a bit more courteous and hence deducting 1 star for food and service. But you MUST go here when you visit Mirissa!

We had a lunch here. Club sandwich and pasta dishes both were very tasty. Happy hour starts at 4pm. (Buy one get one free) the beds here come with lunch. It's perfect as they have good quality beds and when the tide rolls in the beds have a step up to be placed on. Good service too.

The hotel is located at the beach but was closed during covid times. As areault during my stay they never had ang food services available. There was a power cut for good amount of time without any power backup and water was not available in the tap for almost one full day. The worst part is that i had lost my money during the stay which i kept locked in my suitcase in a locked room means that the hotel staff was involved in the act. Over a bad experience. Beacuse of this i had to cut short my stay at Mirissa.

We ate here even when we stayed at the hotel next door. After a few trips around the coast, we decided to return to Mirissa and stay here for the remaining 3 nights. Food is good and service is polite and friendly. The beach is great and they have ample beds for guests. Wifi was a bit hit and miss but good enough to stream on when the weather took a turn. The only criticism is that there wasn't a fridge in the room.

Sadly this place has massive unfulfilled potential. We stayed here for 3 nights. It seems the management have low standards of maintaining the place and poor systems. Plus - The location is great. There is a nice covered seating area and the rooms are good size and air-conditioned. - The staff are well meaning and try hard but got a fair portion of our orders wrong so we just went elsewhere for meals. Minus - Getting any food or service out of the kitchen is very slow and error prone. - We had breakfast supplied and the omletes and bacon tasted of fish. Grill not cleaned it seems. - Our water regularly ran out in the rooms because of a header pump problem. The attached picture shows the state of the pump. When you could find someone to raise it with it was fixed by turning on the power to the pump. - We used the hotel hair-dryer. It seems they only have one because the room attendant asked for it back for another room at one stage. - When the rooms were made up, we repeatedly had to ask for new water bottles because they were forgotten. - The rooms use old style locks and there is no safe in the rooms. - Couple this with an unattended, but unlocked reception area with keys put out on the counter easily accessible and people who can walk in from the beach and road there is a real security issue. Some of the these problems are not a big deal if it was just one thing. But they are symptomatic of the approach to running the place and the general state of it. There is no way I'd call it a resort. We would search long and hard to find an alternative location if we were coming back to Mirissa (which we likely will) because we very much enjoyed the beach and location.

I only used the restaurant services on the beach so can't comment on the rooms. The location was awesome, On the beach candle light dinner next to the waves kissing your toes was a priceless experience. The food was good but if you are someone who likes your door spicy and hotttttt do let them know of the same. The cocktails ordered tasted good but had half the glass full of froth and hence failed to even give a happy buzzzzzz, hence it is recommended to stick to beers or non cocktail drinks.

Just stopped here for a "quick" lunch around 1pm with our guide. After waiting for 10 minutes to get our menus and 15 minutes for someone to get our orders we received our drink 16 minutes later. Then we waited another 35 minutes for a prawn curry and grilled chicken dish at which point I got up and complained asking where our food was, after which it arrived after about 10 minutes. Then no one apologized, no one came over, no one offered us anything else to drink, nothing. After about 10 mins of waiting after we finished our meal, I got up and asked for the bill and our guide's banana juice was added to our bill to which our guide was told that he paid for it. I went to the manager and refused to pay the service charge, still paid for everything else. Then I apologized to the waitress for being short with her about the food and said it was just because I was hungry, and she starts complaining saying, "what do you expect from us? There are lots of guests and only two people working?" There were 5 tables. If you can't handle 5 tables as a restaurant in the middle of the afternoon, what are you doing? My Guide said this is his first experience with their new management and won't be bringing people back here anymore. Just Bad. Especially in a touristy part of town.

Superb place. Welcomes locals and treats everyone with respect. Has a massive beach fascade and is very nice to hangout. Ample parking and ideal for events and parties even. Staff is very nice. Food could’ve been better taste wise and portion wise. But overall the best place on the Mirissa Beach. Love it.
