Good value for money staff and manager were excellent when we endured a storm. They were working very hard to stop the rooms from flooding. Also the manager took care of our laundry even though this was not a service they advertise Great location and pool

Great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and the come with a fridge, air conditioner and a well kept pool. It’s walking distance to the Main surf break in Madiha and The doctors house restaurant. Highly recommended.

The best place to near Madiha Surf Point is Nil Diya Beach Resort 🏖️ In the surf and travel destination Sri Lanka you can expect a lot of top-class surf spots. Here you can expect a right and a left wave, which share a channel and whose peaks are about 200m apart.

Rooms are clean service is fair and I have travelled to this hotel several times but the pool is not clean at all, food is tasty and I still like the place because of the ambient.

They only cheat. When asked on the phone, they talk as if they have everything. After leaving, nothing. They only lie. Don't get caught. I did not look at the place like in the pictures. The staff was also the worst when we got there. There was no humanity.The last lowest place. Think twice before going. I recently had an experience.

I sit in our room not using the Wi-Fi as it doesn’t work. It feels like it’s not ready for the season yet the price was still high. Everything’s dirty, the pool tiles left my hands sticky, holes in bedding, mould stained on curtains, cobwebs on fittings, cockroaches in the bathroom. The keycard kept cutting out the power as it’s tatty and worn. No fans in the room but ac works, personally we don’t like ac on all night but too hot without it. The breakfast was very disappointing for 1000lkr per person it was at most 2 eggs shared between 4 of us! They seemed shocked that we complained and did nothing to rectify it. The juice was salty and very watery. The mattresses on the bed were good but that’s about the end of it. Would not recommend

A very good place. The staff including the manager provide great service. They gave maximum support without any hindrance to our freedom. The food is also very tasty. Most of all he is doing the service he gave for us. Thank you very much.

Arguably T-H-E worst hotel I have ever stayed in, they are doing karaoke music non stop, a group of local people come here for one/two nights every time and don't stop singing and playing loud music. It happens here often. Also the rooms smell of damp. The stuff are very kind. Though did nothing when the music was full on in 2:00Am night and also in 6:00AM morning

We went there in August. During Off season. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are also good. One thing I would like to appreciate is Service. These guys make it a point to go to max. They will provide you every bit of comfort possible. Breakfast was available in room with good choices. Even remind you that you have food in your fridge and will reheat and add extra and provide it to you. Even during checkout i was a bit low on cash. The receptionist gave me a go ahead and provided that as a discount. Amazing just amazing. Please do visit

Great rooms, but hot water wasn't hot enough. They recently renovated and reopened the hotel, so TVs are not working, but the beds were super comfy, but the sadest thing is on the day, when we were about to check out we wanted to have cup of tea, and there was a power breakdown, when we asked them, they said it was the power cut, but on Sundays there are no power cuts, the hotel had a gen but they didn't power it up to save diesel.

Friendly staff, ambience is okay. 50 m away from the beach. The coastal road is quite a stunning view to see in the evenings and early mornings. The rooms are avarage and clean. The food needs to be improved and need to be told way in advance to get the food ready on time specially if one is travelling on business purpose.

Location was great, and standard was what could be expected in this price range. Not very many places in this area have pool, so that was a plus. However room cleaning could have been improved. We had breakfast and dinner included, and the food was really nice.

We came to this hotel after a bad hotel experience in Hikkaduwa. We were fully satisfied with the cleanliness of the room and the facilities provided by the hotel. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Had a very happy and stress free holiday with our party of 16. As there were no other guests we had a very private and enjoyable stay. The food was plenty and very delicious. The team at Nil Diya hotel was very accommodating and helpful. There was a very safe and calm beach in about 200m of the hotel. Highly recommend it to anyone.
