Good food good place but I don’t see the staff stand by and ready to serve us. If you are looking for the good taliwang chicken then come to this place. Their sambal are so good, chicken is very tender and juicy. The place is also very peaceful. From the price perspective food is quite affordable, their signature taliwang chicken is around IDR 60K.

The buffet was good. I like the sop iga and nasio goreng. The price was expensive for Indonesian cuisines. I heard the restaurant was one of the legend taliwang places in the city.

My 1st stop for lunch , the famous chicken taliwang was delicious though quite small in size ( smaller than spring chicken size ) the morning glory was tasty and refreshing though spicy , oxtail soup flavorful with herbs and spices , overall nice airy ambience . Lunch here was satisfying

Their specialy, "ayam taliwang," is yummy. There are all kinds of spice level we can request. The tofu, "tahu Lombok," is super yummy. The water spinach, "kangkung" can be very spicy. But fresh. Just don't take the spice too much to avoid stomachache. Service is fast. I was amazed with the space, though. It's like as big as a school with two courts. Sooo big. Well, ambience is not so comfortable if there are big groups coming in because it would be dirty. Otherwise, the inner courtyard or so would be nice. It's a local standard place. But the toilet is quite clean. There are more Taliwang Irama along the same road. Not sure which one is the best out of them all. There is an ATM outside, and the cashier lady wanted us to pay cash. Oh.. so old school. But we'd come back, for the food.

Place is huge, service will directly take you feom the entrance to where you like to sit, there are different sitting arrangements, at times the place can become really crowded when tourist buses arrive at peak times. We came just before peak time and when we were leaving it was packed with tourists. The service is relatively fast considering how big the place is and how many guests were already there when we arrived, the service is friendly, patient and helpful, the food is not really special so do not really understand the hype and crowds. Plecing kankung and Ikan goring were good though the taliwang chicken for which this place is famous is not authentic, the portions are relatively small even for Indonesian standards. The price is a little on the higher end

One of best choice to enjoy Taliwang chicken ! Very spacious area, good air flow, comfortable table and lesehan area. The chicken is really delicious! If you bring a big group of Visitors, then is this the right place to have your lunch/dinner. Am so hungry and the food really delicious that i forgot to take any photos of the foodies.

Nice proper restaurant, ample parking. Spacious. Have option to sit at normal table or chairs. Or more traditional "pondok" / huts. Price is affordable. Spending IDR 80k per pax, depending what you order. Would be back.

this place is massive! u will get lost if you dont ask where to go. also, i came while it was rain, the floor kinda slippery and part of the place dont have roof to protect it from the rain water. the service was oke, i have to come to nearest stall, which is sell ice and go for a walk to search for the man who will write our order. they have variatife menu but bases on ayam taliwang. the taste just so so, orderes ayam taliwang pedas manis and its kinda bland, nlt spicy nor sweet as they describe.

Ayam Taliwang was so nice! Spicy and well marinated, good to eat with rice. But the portion was small, might not be enough for an adult. In general food and juice were good, environment was ok.

traveling to an area, of course we have to enjoy the food of that region, one of the very famous foods here is the typical Lombok Taliwang chicken, the chicken is small and eaten with lebui sauce & plencing kangkung along with the very distinctive chili sauce which makes this Indonesian dish very delicious , one day definitely come here again

We ordered Ayam Bakar Madu and Ayam Bakar Pedas Manis, accompanied with Plecing Kangkung. Seasoning of Ayam Bakar is perfectly cooked with authententic taste and you can taste the seasoning throughout the meat. The size of chicken is suitable for 1 person only. The Plecing Kangkung is refreshing with fresh vegetables and not too spicy Sambal. This place sits on the Taliwang Village (kampung taliwang) itself, which probably where Taliwang seasoning come from.

I dined here as a tour package, so it was a limited prasmanan (which is why my plate looks messy lmao). the fish is top notch, the bumbu taliwang is even better, but most surprisingly-- the plecing is something else

I went here for lunch. The chicken is too small and I supposed mine to be more spicy but unfortunately not. I think there are better ayam taliwang with more affordable price.

The building was specious, modern, and Bali-like. But the chair and tables kinda dirty and dusty. The taste of the Plecing Kangkung was okay. The rice kinda dry. Bebalung was nice but avoid if you don't like oily food hehe. Actually the Taliwang Chicken was well marinated but sadly the texture was so dry :( But the Fried Tofu is 💯. 10/10 recommend the Tofu! The service is okay, our Babalung almost get forgotten

Some people says that this is the best Barbeque Chicken in the world. I agree with that, the chicken comes with high level of spicyness. The restaurant is also one of the best in Mataram, tho.

Locals say the restaurant has been around for quite a long time and one of the best places in Lombok to serve Taliwang Chicken - grilled chicken with spicy spicy sauce or sweet and spicy sauce, depends on the order. Went to the place during dinner time and it was crowded. Some foods in the menu were no longer available to order, so we went for Ayam Taliwang Pedas Manis and Pelecing Kangkung. The bird was served whole per person/ portion though the size is bit small in size, still satisfying the empty stomach as it was served with quite big portion of white rice. The taste is decent, the highlight is - to me - the sambal, it was damn good. The pelecing kangkung is also decent in taste. The place overall is comfortable enough with many choice of seatings. Staffs are okay-ish, service is a bit slow when crowded. As for the price, you get what you pay for. Recommended.

I dined here on package tour, so I got limited meal. Ayam taliwang is tasty with spicy flavor and tender, size of ayam taliwang is small different with ayam kampung from java

One of the best ayam taliwang in lombok. Well marinated & not too spicy for me. The tofu in Lombok are best!

If you come to Lombok, the local will recommend you Ayam Taliwang (kind of bbq chicken with local sweet and spicy sause) they will serve you whole bird but small size. Just nice for 2 person. All the sauces are very spicy. Taufu (beancurb) also nice and soft. You can enjoy your food in kampung (village) feel.

Their chicken taliwang is a must try. They are very well marinated even their bones are edible. We also ordered baked eggplant, rajang fish and kangkong, they are alright. Might come back in the future.

Delicious “ayam taliwang” get refference eat here by our driver. And not dissapointed, place was so huge and nice staff. But wait too long to serve the menu, not hard to find this placed. Because placed on the main road, just use your maps. Relative priced for the menu, the restaurant also have a musholla for praying. Received any payment such as cash, debit card and credit card.

First timer. No expectation at all when visiting this place. Thought it's going to be another spicy grilled chicken. I was wrong. I ordered their recommended meal, spicy and sweet Taliwang grilled chicken. It was a success. I would try honey Taliwang grilled chicken next time. Overall, it was a nice experience. Price was fair.

Either first time visitor or not, you should not miss this place. They serve the famous Lombok grilled chicken, make sure you choose the right level of spiciness. Grilled gurame fish also ok and try the fried tofu for a perfect combination. This is a cash place only.
