Oriol is an extremely professional coach, dedicated and focused on high performance and results. When I started with him, he had been in a long season with little consistency in schedules and not in good physical shape. After several months of working together, I completed my first half Ironman in more than decent time, and beat my 5k and 10k personal bests that I had set several years ago. I have also broken personal records in swimming and improved my distances and power on the bicycle. I was very impressed by how involved he is as a coach and the in-depth analysis in personalized videos and video calls, as well as his willingness and speed in answering questions. A tremendous professional.

Uri coached me for over a year for an IM 70.3 and for my first full IM; Uri is very professional, prepared, experienced (as a coach and as a triathlete), responsive, committed and flexible in his approach (without forgetting the long-term goals though). With Uri´s guide I managed to increase significantly my performance, enjoy more the sport and get a better understanding of certain aspects of the Triathlon. Fully recommended for a true customized one-o-one coaching experience and to get to the next level.

Oriol me ha introducido en este mundillo del Triatlón y ya he conseguido hacer mi primer Half! Estoy muy contento tanto con los entrenamientos grupales como con la planificación individual.

I came to Oriol looking to take my long distance triathlon to the next level following a friends recommendation. Through carefully structured workouts and regular feedback I was able to save 90 minutes off my previous best Ironman time. Over a 9 month plan Oriol’s workouts built suitably to allow me to avoid injury while making clear progressive gains. For example my swim pace has improved by 10 seconds per 100m and my cycling ftp has increased by over 30watts in this time, more importantly these are sustainable gains I can hold over longer course racing. Oriol provides feedback on every session and takes time to explain the benefit of each of the sessions so you understand the purpose of the session and plan structure and how to get the most out of yourself. I’m based in the UK but regular Zoom calls meant this was never an issue. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to Oriol for help when I plan to do my next Ironman.

I finished my Ironman 70.3 thanks to the support and training of my coach Uri, it was a very difficult race, especially the bike, in that bike section with the wind against you was when you should thank Uri for his great work

I have had several coaches and by far the best. Great professionalism, continuous monitoring and totally personalized training with a lot of information about zones, rhythms, etc... personalized. Many workshops and videos, both general and specific. If you want to train at a high level at an affordable price, it is 100% recommended from my point of view. Also, if you are from the area, in-person training with flexible hours. One of the very good things is also the possibility of monitoring with trainningpeaks, which works great for me. On a personal level, he is a very affable person and has a lot of empathy, which makes him a very close coach in a short time.

Oriol is a great coach with excellent triathlon knowledge. He cares about his athletes. Be detail-oriented with your training parameters. You have the flexibility to change your workouts if necessary. For me he is the best coach I have ever had.

Uri has been my coach since earlier this year. After moving from London to Barcelona with our family in 2021, I set out a goal to compete in the long-distance IRONMAN Barcelona. I was looking for an English-speaking coach and compared several coaching options. In the end, Uri’s data-led approach, experience and modern/remote working style (Google Drive, Zoom, Calendly, Trainingpeaks, etc.) made me choose him. And.. what a journey it has been. After months of training, I was totally surprised to finish 4th in my age group and 15th overall in my first IM event which also meant I qualified for the World Championship in Kona next year. Although my main goal was just to do well, I cannot thank Uri enough for this result and his excellent coaching and support. He’s a great guy as well! He knows how to motivate you with the right feedback and training load so you know that the toughest training will be still painful but not unachievable as the training zones are regularly updated. I was able to follow the training plans rigorously, which gave me good confidence in my races. The race plans he prepared for the events were always spot-on and based on your data. The local events and group rides he organises around Barcelona are much fun too. Besides that, I remained injury-free which for me is a big achievement as I always struggled with little aches and injuries in the past when I was following my own marathon training plan. All in all, he is a highly recommended, passionate and professional coach who maximises your potential using data and modern ways of working. He is fun to work with too. Uri, thank you for everything so far!

I have been training with Uri for several months and the coach's hand is evident. I used to train on my own and I didn't see results like I see now. I have improved my times in each discipline and now I feel more confident in competitions. Depending on the plan you choose (more or less monitoring), Uri constantly reviews the training carried out and adapts the values of each training to the needs of each moment. The truth is, I am very happy with the training and I recommend it 100x100.

Having been a staunch athlete during my student years, I found myself in a situation where work and several moves to different countries had somewhat dulled my passion for sport. Being a recreational cyclist (and, I must admit, a bad runner and a terrible swimmer) I became interested in triathlon shortly after moving to London. It was then that I contacted several coaches and, in less than 24 hours, it was clear to me: I wanted to start training with Uri. From the first call we had, I loved the passion that Uri has for triathlon, the commitment he conveyed to me with the athletes he trains, and his enormous dedication. Now, after just over a year training with Uri, I can firmly say that it was a great decision. Thanks to Uri, I have gone (in just 12 months) from being a complete novice to having completed several Ironman 70.3, a full Ironman (being 10th in my age group) and several Olympic triathlons (being 9th overall in the Challenge Barcelona). However, the most important thing is that thanks to Uri I have discovered my great passion for triathlon, and I have developed a healthy and competitive lifestyle that will accompany me throughout my life. I want to take the opportunity to highlight what, from my point of view as an athlete, are the most positive points of working with Uri: (1) Updated and well-defined work zones – Uri is very analytical and constantly updates work zones so that workouts are demanding but achievable (2) Plans adjusted to objectives – training is perfectly designed to achieve maximum performance in the most relevant races of the season (3) Constant feedback – Uri analyzes the training in detail, listens to the sensations that the athlete transmits and is capable of giving very valuable feedback to continue improving and avoid injuries (4) His great proximity and community spirit – probably the most important thing, Uri is a great guy, very close to his athletes and who loves to put on events that create a great vibe In short, Uri is a great coach, a great person and my number 1 recommendation for anyone looking for a coach.
