Some years ago it used to be the best beach in town. But now there's no parking lot, only one beach bar ( 3 years ago there were 2), dirty sand. A new totally disgusting and uncomfortable, bad manners owned new bar, that destroys the beach life feeling.

Our rent car, new VW T6 from Roadsurfer got stollen on Friday 29.10.2021 around 13.30 from the parking of this beach. A very very bad situation for us as a family and for the company too. Please be very very very careful.

Platja del Callao is a cozy beach with parking nearby. This beach is not child-friendly as it gets deep quickly and you can expect big waves. It is not possible to rinse yourself with fresh water, as the fresh water has been turned off on the entire beach area. There are places to eat in the area and the beach is within walking distance to town.

Water is crystal clear, sand is nice and the beach is clean. Not so crowded, it worths a day hanging around 😉

Great place to rest your mind.

Strandzone bei Mataro, nordöstlich von Barcelona. Sehr sauberer Strand und klares Meerwasser und einigen Strand-Cafes. Über die Flaniermeile kommt man direkt zum Bahnhof.

Toller Strand vor allem mit Hunden zu empfehlen. Man findet auch Spielplätze und Cafés an der Promenade.

Ausreichend Parkplätze, diese sind kostenfrei, Sandstrand bis 10m vor dem Wasser, dann Kies. Wasser ist in Ordnung, aber schnell sehr tief. Eher für Schwimmer geeignet.

Loud people. Always many youngsters with the radio on the highest volume. Only if you have bo other option.

Beautyful Beach-bar

Large plage, with parkings and children gardens. A lot of restaurants with view to the sea. The train is passing nearby, so you can easily access to Barcelona.
