I
stayed
in
this
hotel
for
3
nights
with
my
family
recently.
Thought
of
giving
a
very
honest
review
on
the
hotel
with
all
pros
and
cons.
Firstly
the
pros:
this
is
the
most
strategically
located
hotel
near
Krishna
Janambhumi
with
all
the
3
gates
at
a
walking
distance,
the
main
reason
why
we
opted
for
this
hotel.
Now
coming
to
the
various
cons
that
will
obviously
be
the
main
reasons
why
I
would
definitely
not
opt
for
this
hotel
on
my
future
Mathura
visits.
We
took
a
cab
from
NCR
for
Mathura
and
when
we
reached
the
hotel,
there
were
hardly
any
people
sitting
at
reception
and
hence
could
not
even
ask
someone
to
take
our
luggages
from
our
car.
After
waiting
for
more
than
10
mins,
someone
fortunately
came
down
whom
I
requested
to
take
the
luggages.
Now
coming
to
rooms:
it
is
quite
evident
that
at
the
time
of
starting
the
hotel,
the
owner
left
no
stone
unturned
to
make
it
one
of
the
best
hotels
in
the
area:
the
wall
decorations,
the
stylish
and
expensive
bathroom
fittings,
the
split
ACs
of
Daikin
etc
bear
testimony
to
that
although
we
felt
that
it
was
bit
suffocated
as
there
was
no
provision
to
see
outside.
Now
coming
to
the
main
drawback
that
we
felt
can
go
a
long
way
in
bringing
down
the
hotelโs
ratings
in
no
time.
We
felt
that
room
service
left
much
to
be
desired:
the
staff
was
far
less
than
what
it
should
be
for
an
average
3
star
hotel.
In
addition,
there
was
a
person
in
his
middle
age
who
used
to
serve
us
from
room
service
during
the
day
whom
we
found
really
rude
to
say
the
least.
He
was
reluctant
to
come
more
than
once
even
though
it
was
his
fault
in
missing
out
some
items
that
we
ordered
on
phone.
This
was
our
3rd
Mathura
visit
and
we
had
already
made
good
rapport
with
some
shops
in
Janambhumi
and
hence
revisited
them
for
some
purchases.
When
I
shared
about
our
ordeal
in
the
hotel,
we
came
to
know
that
this
was
undoubtedly
one
of
the
best
hotel
in
the
area
till
last
year
when
its
owner
sadly
passed
away
in
Covid
and
now
probably
there
is
no
one
from
the
top
to
supervise
these
people
(
not
sure
if
the
ownerโs
legal
heir/heirs
stays/stay
in
Mathura
or
he/they
are
taking
active
interest
in
supervising
from
the
top,
hence
the
casual
attitude
is
pretty
evident
amongst
the
staff).
We
also
felt
that
the
maintenance
left
a
lot
to
be
desired:
our
room
had
cracks
on
walls,
there
were
lots
of
seepages
that
immediately
need
to
be
addressed
to.
Overhauling
is
also
required
for
crockeries
that
they
use
to
serve
food:
one
of
the
bowls
where
they
served
sugar
had
developed
cracks
below
but
still
they
were
using
these
items.Now
last
but
not
the
least
coming
to
food:
must
compliment
the
cook
for
giving
us
tastiest
dishes
in
spite
of
our
limitations
owing
to
food
allergies,
but
the
food
cost
is
exorbitant
to
say
the
least
and
the
quantity
is
also
exceptionally
less
specially
for
the
rice
and
Chowmein
items.
In
fact
we
had
to
shell
out
a
whooping
Rs
5,400
for
just
3
days
for
absolute
basic
food.
Moreover
what
I
felt
very
bad
was
that
we
had
carried
some
purely
vegetarian
home
food
that
we
asked
them
to
reheat
for
our
consumption,
they
flatly
denied
saying
this
is
against
hotel
norms
as
they
make
Prasad
for
Radha
Rani!!
Honestly
I
feel
this
was
highly
unprofessional
on
their
part
and
they
could
always
keep
a
backup
gas
oven
for
customers!!
The
general
review
of
this
hotel
in
Google
and
MMT
is
still
not
bad
but
if
you
filter
the
reviews
for
the
last
1
year,
you
can
easily
make
out
that
services
of
this
hotel
have
definitely
gone
down
to
the
drains,
hence
would
definitely
advise
my
friends
to
avoid
staying
here
inspite
of
the
proximity
to
Janmabhumi!!
