Excellent customer service. Clean room and relaxing stay. Would stay here again. Only thing is website advertised kitchenette, but this was unavailable. Teapot in room was very clean, and so was the bathroom. Loved the cookies upon check-in and tea selection was nice. Breakfast had a nice variety and hours were reasonable. Gym is small, but functional. Location is nice if you're looking to head to the beach. If you want to visit Porto, it's a short 15-minute taxi ride. Grocery store about a block away and nice restaurants close by. Hotels bar/restaurant was decent and service was nice.

Large American style room with king bed. Front desk answered all our questions in a pleasant way making us feel welcomed as we arrived. Breakfast is available at a modest price. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach. It looks fairly new and the room was very clean. Highly recommend.

Everything was great, new hotel, except when we wanted to eat some to go lunch before leaving for the airport after check out, the manager said we could not sit in the lobby area. The lobby sitting area was empty, with empty seats and tables at 1:40 pm. Huh? We are also Bonvoy Platinum Elite customers.

This place is awesome. We've stayed here 3 times already. Preferred staying here than Porto downtown. It's close to the beach. You can catch the scenic 500 bus all the way to Porto downtown yet stay away from the hustle of a bigger town. The rooms are clean. Breakfast good. They have a decent gym. It's close enough to the local train/tram. There is a grocery store tucked next to it. Some decent restaurants around it. Quiet place for when you want a little peace. The neighborhood isn't bad. What else is there to ask for?

A short walk to the beach. Close to the city park. Great seafood restaurants nearby. Easy access to the airport. Parking garage. Perfect hotel for a few days in Porto without the hassle and confusion of the city. I left my car in the garage and used Uber (very cheap in Portugal) to go around Porto. Will be back next time.

We picked this hotel merely due to its proximity to the airport and to our favourite restaurant in Porto, but it exceeded our expectations. Definitely the place we will pick to stay for our next trip here. An altogether enjoyable experience, from the very fine and varied breakfast buffet, to the attitude of the staff and the comfort of the room.

Excellent hotel, close to beach and all the service was exeptional and friendly. The room was great. The breakfast was definitely worth it, but the Cafe across the street is also amazing if you prefer a more traditional eating experience. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Very nice place close to the beach of Matosinhos. As the hotel is quite new, the rooms and the full place are in perfect shape. I can recommend the bar and their way to serve a perfect Gin Tonic.

Great newer hotel with easy access to busses to get to Porto. Breakfast was vast - many choices of great food. We had hamburgers for dinner a couple of times and they were in the top 3 burgers I've ever tasted. Very friendly staff.

It’s a very nice hotel with Amazing breakfast! I’ve really enjoyed my stay here. The front desk people were very friendly and the bar staff was quick. The room was clean and spacious. It’s easy to reach many nice restaurants and the beach from this hotel.

Brand new hotel in Matosinhos redevelopment area. Very sophisticated architectural design, very well trained staff. It's a perfect location because it's close to the beach but the sea breeze doesn't come directly because of the other buildings.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It has everything: large room, confy bed, enough storage space, coffee maker and a mini kitchen. It is very close to the beach and the metro station. The staff are very polite and helpful. There are many cafes around and a large supermarket right next to the hotel. It is the best choice if you want to visit Porto and enjoy the beach. However, the water may be cold particularly if you are used to the Mediterranean area. Otherwise, the hotel is great and I warnly recommend it.

Great location. Well equipped, spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to the metro with 25min ride to Porto city center. Great choice if you want to stay in Matosinhos!

The location and room were great, room included a mini fridge and bedding was comfortable, room and hotel felt and smelled very clean, once inside . Upon check in the front desk representative was very friendly, professional and welcoming and even offered to make a restaurant reservation for us when we inquired about local restaurant recommendations. We ultimately decided to try the hotel restaurant that night The bartender was excellent.(best Caipirinha I've had:) Overall they seemed understaffed at the restaurant and bar that evening Unfortunately they were out of our top few choices on the menu so we had to compromise a bit which was fine, but then ended up waiting an hour for our food, assuming the whole time they were just really busy and it would arrive any minute. We finally inquired (had to go ask since we didn't get checked on) only to find out the kitchen had actually never received our order. The guy who took our order never took responsibility for the mistake, blaming it on "a mistake in the kitchen" . We were famished by the time our food arrived and not blown away by the food when we finally did receive it. I would likely only utilize the restaurant and bar area again for drinks only. Everything else about the hotel and room were fine

The location of this hotel is just perfect. Literally few minutes walk to anywhere, public transport, supermarket and even to the beach! Our stay at this hotel was just purely amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. All of the staff are friendly, professional and accommodating! That’s all front of house, housekeepers, bar and the restaurant staff. Also ate at the restaurant on our last day for lunch and ordered a burger, it was so good that I ate and ordered the same thing again that evening! Applause to all your hard work everyday!

Located in the heart of Matosinhos, the best part of Porto, walking distance to the beach and shops and the city park. The rooms are modern and nice and the service is great!

This was a perfect stay and I don't know if I've ever had a perfect stay before in my multiple years of Bon Voy property stays. Everyone was very helpful and kind, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had ever, the location is nice and just a couple blocks from the beach/attractions/restaurant area, the room was very nice with a nice view and the entire staff was very accommodating with smiles on their faces. Also, this stay was excellent value for the pricing when all is considered. I highly recommend this property and there is nothing about this property that needs improvement. I didn't catch the housekeeping staff that interacted with's names but they were all great. I especially recognize Francisco and Armenio for doing an excellent job in checking me in and out through their friendly & extremely helpful demeanor, and to Selma for being really helpful in helping me find attractions while answering all my questions in a very kind & genuine way. All 3 were above and beyond, very helpful & genuine, and all very much appreciated!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Fransisco who accompanied our early check in promptly and professionally. He had restaurant recommendations and made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. Rooms are clean and have a great views to the city around close to the ocean, transportation, and restaurants. Furthermore we decided to eat dinner at their restaurant/ bar and was served by Giovanni and other servers followed to make sure we had everything before asking. Breakfast had a variety, great flavor, and again all servers were attentive to our needs. By the end of our stay we were checked out which was a pleasure and easy to understand charges. Definitely a 5 star hotel and will recommended to any traveling to this area looking for great accommodation! Thank you Marriot and team

Nice, clean, quiet and spacious room. Relaxed neighborhood. Close to beach. Friendly, warm and service minded staff. Good breakfast (may not have a great selection, but it has enough for everyone) - we had egg benedict on request last few days, and that was so tasty 😊 We also dined at the hotel. Octopus and tuna tartare were superb with sparkling wine. They were inexpensive. Overall, it was great value for money ☺️

The hotel was newly renovated. Although the room was small, it was modern and convenient. It's a 3 min walk to the beach. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The smart TV allowed casting, which was convenient.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Nice location. Slow kitchen service. Room is quite spacious with very nice lighting and design, same with bathroom, very clean and tidy. Corridor also has nice modern design, must be a new hotel. Front desk reception staff speak fluent English and are extremely friendly and informative. It would’ve been a 5 star at this point. Unfortunately, it was raining so I decided to eat at the hotel. Ordered some oysters and a main at 20:41 as shown on the receipt and the main dish only came at around 21:35. So beware if you wanna have dinner here as I had to wait for approximately 55 minutes for my food. Not extremely long wait but it’s long enough for you to consider it. My thoughts of going to MacDonald’s just roamed constantly in my head for the 55 minutes. Other than that, the service is good so maybe only eat when there is nobody in the restaurant. Wait for it to be empty first. Thus, I have to make the painful decision of giving this hotel a 4 star.

Beautiful, modern, super clean hotel. Three minutes walking distance from beach. They make extra effort to make customers satisfied. Even packed a breakfast for us at 2 am, because of our early flight. Price is way to low for such a experience. Highly recommended.

2 blocks from the beach. The service here is superb. This hotel is definitely 5 stars. Easy access to metro as well. Served Port wine at check in. Grocery store right next door. We'd come back.

Staff are all amazing, the location is so different than being in city center. The beach, fresh seafood everyday, it's a nice change of pace but really everyone working here really care. Location wise, I prefer over the city, many great restaurants nearby.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Great value and a good location in the city. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff were brilliant! They even left us a surprise bottle of Port and a couple of Natas in our room! Breakfast was great; bacon, eggs, sausages etc. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. FAB!!!!
