Siesta Campers provided us with an experience we will never forget! Their staff was so helpful with briefing us before our trip with their Siesta Beach Van and it was so easy to call the van our home for the three days that we had it. We were able to explore Portugal in such a unique way that was still very comfortable. Siesta Campers helped me fall even more in love with traveling and thanks to them, I want to have more “van life” experiences in the near future!

We rented a van for 7 days and it was a wonderful experience. The van has everything you need, is in a perfect state and is the best way to discover Portugal. Check-in and check-out were really smooth and the staff is so friendly !! He even dropped us off at the bus stop after giving him the van back, so nice for you dude ! Can only recommend this experience!

We rented a VW California for one week. We picked up from Faro and dropped the van off in Lisbon. The service at both locations was excellent. Relaxed and friendly. Never once felt like we were going to be swindled for insurance loopholes or excesses, like with other companies. Van was brand new and spotless.

Very good experience with Siesta Campers. We had some issues with the sink and door of our California Campervan but their support service was amazing. They offer 24/7 support, speak perfect English and quickly look for a solution so you don't loose precious travel time. They had their own working place with dedicated mechanics, own spare parts and fixed the door in no time. My special thanks to Bruno and the friendly lady Emily from their support team ! After dropping the van the friendly lady in Faro gave us a free ride back to the city and even gave us a short guiding tour. Definitely would recommend Siesta Campers!

This was the best decision of our whole trip! Siesta Campers were so helpful, their campers are amazing! We waited to drive automatic car so the California Coast camper was our first choice. What a fantastic and unique experience! We booked a traditional "Salvador/Fortaleza" van at Siesta Campers in Faro and had a wonderful experience - we would 100% recommend it. The people at Siesta Campers are incredibly friendly and really love their traditional vans. They love the little details of the van and treat it with great care. If you are traveling with it: please do the same! Driving the van is an experience in itself. No power steering, only four gears, you have to do everything yourself - a very nostalgic but incredibly exciting experience. (Tip: Take five minutes, together with the Siesta Campers staff, when picking up the van to drive around the block together. Then you get a good feel for the car). The cool thing about the traditional van: everyone waves to you, everywhere you go you are approached about the van, everyone loves it. Driving the traditional van from Siesta Campers along the sunny Algarve coast was just a great feeling of freedom. We would do it again anytime, even if our van trip was an Adventure of a Lifetime!

Siesta campers was the best way to enjoy our travels in Portugal. They were supportive throughout the whole process, helping us plan our travel route and being available along the way. The van didn’t have any problems and was very easy to handle.

I rented a VAN for a ten days in June 2023 in Siesta Campers Porto and drove with it around Portugal. Even if we had a nice trip, we sadly can’t recommend Siesta Campers in Porto, as the boss of the team, Nicolas, didn’t treat us well. Our problem was, that here was a misunderstanding while booking the car, as during pick-up we communicated we would return it at 17h30 and no-one contradicted. We thought that the message of returning it at 11h was a mistake on our side while introducing the booking data, as we had originally planned an early return and later changed flights, so we understood it was allowed to return the car later. As the van wasn’t delivered on time, we received an angry call from Nico, the owner, so we hurried to give the van back and apologized for the misunderstanding. Nico did not treat us with respect: he shouted to us, accused us of ignoring the rules on purpose, and didn’t want to understand this was based on a misunderstanding with the working team in the office, who always acted in good faith. Nico seems to be more worried about contractual data than about real people handling respectfully with each other. Nico himself wasn’t present in the office, it’s easier just to shout around with the phone. Interestingly enough, the team in the office apologized for Nico’s behavior, so I believe I’m not the first one being shouted at. I am a very sensitive person, don’t like being shouted at. The discussion with Nico left me in a very bad feeling, which took me 2 days to get rid of. You generally shouldn’t shout to anyone, regardless of if they are customers or not. The fact that they fared 60€ for late return according to the contract is not relevant for this review, just the way we were treated is, even if Nico claims, another family got the van late, this is simply not true as upon return the van there were 3 other unused vans in there waiting for delivery. You can better judge how good or bad a service is when something goes wrong, if everything works perfect you don’t really get to know how they handle with normal issues that can happen to anyone. Great company to deal with, any query we had was answered really quickly. We picked up from Lisbon, everything was explained to us when we picked up the van, and everyone we dealt with was helpful and friendly. Van in great condition, with everything we needed. Would highly recommend. We travelled as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 2 year old, and had the best time. Our 2 boys just loved it. Our only regret was not booking it for longer.

We rented a lovely red and white VW camper with the pop up roof for one week. Check in was smooth and friendly, the van was perfect, having super cold beers at the beach was priceless! Customer service was excellent. I would recommend siesta campers to anyone!.

We had a great experience! We rented the van for 11 days, and experienced all of Portugal. Ricardo was very helpful, he was able to answer all the questions that we had. Once we returned, he even took the time to drive us to our Airbnb. I HIGHLY recommend Siesta Campers to anyone looking to travel in Portugal!
