The experience of choosing the fish at the market by the customer himself is PRICELESS.... then the preparation is impeccable... combined with an informal, friendly and competent service..... with a FAIR price..... it is difficult to find best gastronomic experience nearby

An upgraded deja-vu! And what an upgrade! The space is very friendly, with entry either from the street, or from inside the market. The option of buying fish at the stall, which was 'invented' in this market by the owner, together with the improvement of the menu options, make this restaurant a reference restaurant. ! Food is always delicious, with friendly service (I'm suspicious of that). Of course, visit!

If you are in the area, it is a must visit. You can pick what you want from the market up front and they will prepare and serve with fresh salad and potatoes. You can select seafood form their existing menu, which is just as good and fresh. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great value for money.

Fresh fish straight from the market (the restaurant is actually inside the fish market) with salad, potatoes and wine. For a such good price. No better lunch possible! We were so surprised and happy to est there. The owner was there for chat and made our stay very comfortable. Clear recommendation!!

Restaurant in the fish hall. You choose and buy fish (the chef helps you with this) and... the feast begins! The fish is perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection - it melts in your mouth. Plus great service, a glass of wine, what more could you want. I only regret that we didn't come here earlier!

The servers are super friendly (they speak several languages). We bought the fish ourselves and the preparation was magnificent.

Really nice laidback place with excellent service and food, we ordered grilled seabream, it was simply served with boiled potatoes and fresh salad, so the emphasis could stay on the fish- thats what we wanted. Prices were reasonable too (we'd had quite lackluster, even disappointing experiences for the same price range in all previous restaurants in Porto-Lisbon-Aveiro) The owner was also a cool communicative person, answered all our endless (some maybe little too straightforward) questions with ease in fluent English:) Wish we went more than once

Don't miss this place! The service is just exceptional and I can't even describe the meal, it was just fabulous! Bar chosen with the restaurateur in the market, and giant shrimps 😍😍
