"Casa Rietsch" is a brand new guesthouse in Matosinhos since June, 2019. The match between the vintage building and design project makes this one of the most incredible places to stay when you visit Porto. The guesthouse offers bedrooms or flats with bathroom for single, double or groups. Even if you travel with kids. All the house is very cosy and clean by it's staff always looking to give all the confort you may need. They offer a realy good breakfast with fresh juice, fruits, bread, dairy products always handmade every day. If you are looking a great place to stay for holidays or business "Casa Rietsch" is the best option.

We were a small group of 4 friends and were here for 3 nights learning to surf in Matosinhos. The location is good. Its around 50 minutes to airport and 30-40 minutes to city center by Metro / Bus. There are some nice seafood restaurants nearby and it is around 5-10 minutes to beach on foot. The owner is sincere and it is his original family house. The service and room was of very good value. I would recommend this place for friends / pairs looking to learn surf or just to see Porto. Definitely would come again.

Very clean, beautifully decorated. The host has a good communication. The location is walking distance to the beach and the restaurants (also the public transport). Really enjoyed our stay with my kiddo, highly recommend!

Very pure standard hotel in a very expensive area of Porto! I spent 6 night in this hotel my room wasn't even cleaned once! They only change towels and trash was emptied the room. Entire week of pretending to be cleaned must have exhausted the cleaning because one day nothing was done at all. The room was full of sand on wooden floor and female hair of different colours.Whitch proves a long time not good cleaning at all. A breakfast the eternal problem of bread once event there was no butter.It was always necessary to ask a lady to add products for breakfast.If you expect even normal coffee you will get it from a termos whitch you have to manually squeeze into a cup. Well, the owner cannon afford the cheapest coffee machine. So if someone wants to eat breakfast and feel like on a school trip in the forest in a tent it will be great location. At the end,this district has no nightlife at all choose another part of Porto.Only good communication from airport to this place via metro.

Simple yet beautiful, state of the art rooms within walking distance to the beach, the best fish restaurants around, as well as all public transport. Staff and management are very accomodative and helpful. Highly recommended guest house

Best bed and breakfast I've ever been. Totally enjoyed my stay. Super nice Host. Eugenio is very kind and always available for questions. The room was nice and quiet. Bed was amazing. Very close to the beach and to public transport to get into Porto city center.Supermarket and nice Restaurants are nearby too.Also there's a bus to the airport round the corner. The breakfast was superbe. I really loved the morning cake. You also can rent an E-Bike. My room was always clean when I came back at the end of the day. After doing the Camino I loved to relax in Casa Rietsch. Highly recommend. Thanks to the entire stuff of Casa Rietsch
