The hotel is on a busy street very near to the beach front. Lots of good restaurants near by, in fact next door to it! If you get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor at the rear of the building you get a great sea view. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a stocked mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The shower is powerful and hot. Room service is available. The spa has an indoor pool, saunas, massage and showers. All very clean and looked after. The bar is good and not over-priced. Parking in the hotel is available but expensive. 20€ per day. All in all it’s a four star hotel with a five star feel. Very good.

I am a swimmer n choose hotels for their pools... last visit to Porto we stayed at the sheraton hotel which had a lovely pool. Decided to shake it up by trying another hotel. Yes there is a pool, we booked. Tried to use it today and was told that I had to wear a hat. I don't wear hats whilst swimming especially with short hair Next! Next trip I will stay at the Sheraton!!!

Simply outstanding. The location totally surprised us. So much going on in terms of food, the beach. The hotel staff in particular will go out of their way to help you, make recommendations or book restaurants. Facilities brilliantly clean.

The service at this hotel is top notch. The staff definitely made my stay a memorable one. Goncalo was very welcoming and knows the ins and outs of the Matosinhos/Porto area. He was able to guide me to the best spots for nightlife, sightseeing, and restaurants. Raquel in the front office made sure I had everything I needed and if there was anything I needed that the hotel didn't provide she would direct me to where I needed to go to get it. She was very patient and always answered my million questions with a smile on her face. I suggest stopping by the bar in the lobby to drink some delicious mojitos made by Rebecca and taking time to visit the wellness center on site to experience the pool and spa. The receptionist at the wellness center was also very amicable and I regret not getting her name to thank her for her service too. Everyone I dealt with at this hotel was amazing. Thank you guys for being extraordinary in every way. I highly recommend staying at Eurostars Matosinhos.

Very recommended. The service is astonishing, the rooms are cozy and clean. Every service that is announced is available. As for the location, you are very close from the beach and from many good restaurants (4+ ratings). Finally, don't forget to book from the official website. This way you will have free breakfasts.

Beautiful hotel. The location is perfect. Just two minutes to the beach and a our room had a beautiful terrace. What was missing in the room was an electric kettle for hit drinking water. The bar offers tea for 3,5 € but a kettle is a must have for a 4 star hotel. Another thing is the language. I expected a bit more from a hotel in a place like this. Most people are probably tourists and non-portuguese-speakers. But we had a hard time communicating with the staff. Although the staff was very friendly and committed to help us. I can recommend this hotel.

A hidden gem for those seeking a retreat closed to the beach with top-notch service, spacious and clean rooms, and a delightful breakfast experience.

Eurostars Matosinhos exceeded our expectations in every way. Once we arrived, we were greeted by Raquel who provided us with exceptional service. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Whenever we had any questions, she always knew the answer. We weren’t familiar with the area at all so we would always ask her for recommendations. Everything she recommended was amazing. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Goncalo who was very knowledgeable and outgoing as well. They both speak multiple languages so it was easy to communicate our needs which they would quickly meet. The hotel itself is very clean and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, cafes, and shopping. We have zero complaints and will definitely be coming back thanks to the hospitality we received from Raquel and Goncalo.

Nice hotel close to the Matosinhos beach. Nice pool, sauna and spa. Small but sufficient gym. Close to the airport and therefore great for your first or last day in Porto. But you could definitely spend more days here

Unexpectedly good for 4* hotel. Spa, pool and nice treatment. You have slippers and bath ropes in the room.

price-quality ratio is non-existent... cold indoor pool, view from the room of a building under construction (excellent alarm clock)... it was such a disappointment that I can't name everything... The only positive point was the friendliness of the hotel staff.

This hotel was an amazing experience. So kind and helpful staff have i never met before. The hotel is located close to a very beautiful beach and a lot of very good restaurants. There is a spa and pool area and a small but very nice breakfast restaurant. I really recommend this hotel and it is very close to Porto airport 😊

Great hotel with great style and atmosphere. Service was perfect, staff friendly. Location is very convenient near to both the sub center and the coast. Very good fish restaurants in the street. The inside pool air temperature was too high (32-33) in March; feeling like in a sauna. Rooms were well equipped with nice design and interior.

Very good location close to the beach. Restaurants in front on the hotel. Excelent breakfast, good swimming pool. Very good connection with Porto by bus line 500. Minor disadvantage is a bit industrial wiev on the port and time to time industrial noise. I am glad that choose this hotel.

Wonderful modern hotel in an old suburb. Close to metro, beach and restaurants. Love the room interior, breakfast is very good, staff is well trained, English proficient, a great bunch of people. For general interest… Internet is severely limited, no WhatsApp. News , Google Maps , etc real shame for this calibre of hotel Pool design and engineering is state of the art…. Lobby lounge is not as inviting and comfortable as one would hope….

Lovely clean modern hotel with spacious rooms and in a good location for restaurants. The check-in was faultless and the service was outstanding, This hotel certainly has a good team running it.

Very nice and comfortable place in a very nice surrounding. The parking arrangement is a joke. The garage shall be private so nothing to do with the Hotel, the slip from the garage shows the hotel as issuer... But if u don't have cash (no cards accepted) the Hotel does not help you

Neat little Hotel, nestled into a Street full of Restaurants and about 5 minutes of walk away from Porto's Beach. The staff is young and professional. Rooms are tidy and modern. The Pool is either too shallow for Sport or too cold for Relaxation. Currently, a Reservation has to be made in advance (probably due to COVID-19) and a Swim cap has to be worn, which are also available for Purchase at the Counter. Bathrobes and additional Towels are available upon request. The Restaurant wasn't available for dinner. The Breakfast was straightforward, with either an acceptable brand of coffee from a bean to cup machine or a Nespresso Professional Machine. Lactose-Free Milk was provided on the counter (with a large clear label) without need to ask staff. There is a Park Deck next to the Hotel, but even while it would be accessible through the Elevator, the actual Door to it doesn't open. As the Park Deck can only be paid in cash, it would be nice if the Hotel could at least facilitate a way to either pay for it in advance (with the booking) or provide access cards. The bar seems to be open on request and has a fair selection of Port. While the Staff didn't really know much about the Brands, Vintages, on first request, they had further information on the next day. Shows dedication to their job and great work ethics. All in all, a pleasant stay.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel. When our Airbnb didn't work out we were forced to find a place to stay very quickly. Luckily, this hotel was a few blocks away and the staff, especially Bruno, were so very kind and helpful. The hotel and it's rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Well located for beach and numerous seafood eateries. Spotlessly clean, lovely facilities....we used the pool and steam room which were fab. Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of choice and top quality. Would not hesitate to recommend or return ourselves.

Excellent - genuinely friendly and helpful staff, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. Well located for metro, beach and restaurants. Pool is described as external but is actually enclosed and under glass.
