We stayed here for 7 nights. The pension is clean and in good condition. This is on a side street and is therefore quiet at night. Opposite is a large car park if you have a car, this is free. The bus or metro is also only a few minutes walk away. We are very impressed by our host who was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good and was prepared with a lot of love for details. We can absolutely recommend the Hotel. We will come back.

I was looking for accommodation to do some remote work (excellent WiFi!) while being able to enjoy Matosinhos with its great seafood restaurants, the beach, and surfing, as well as staying in a short reach to Porto city centre (by car or tram - the stop just outside the property) - I couldn't have asked for a more convenient option! The owner Nuno really went above and beyond to make my stay perfect from the start to the finish. All of the staff were so lovely, polite and accommodating. The property itself was extremely clean, fresh and modern. The property also has a fantastic faux grass garden with several seated spaces. My single room had its own bathroom as well as; a large tv, wardrobe with fridge inside, kettle, toaster, large and small plates, cutlery and even a bottle opener. The bathroom was lovely and clean with a large landscape mirror that had LED lights fitted behind it. (Great for doing make up) The shower is very spacious, with two different heads that are easy and convenient to use. There was also a welcome basket provided on check in. This contained; jams, teabags, Brown and white sugar, biscuits and other small snacks and a Nespresso coffee pod to use in the Nespresso coffee machine located in the lobby.

Compliment water, cookies, chocolate, tea, coffee capsule. In our room there was a kettle, toaster, fridge and safe, tv, AirCo. The next day they send an sms to ask if you want your room to be cleaned (and haven’t left a sign on a handle). They change towels everyday. Super service. Located close to supermarket, metro, in a silent neighbourhood, close to a park. Lovely host, we haven’t seen him but he sent all the instructions and we felt treated even on a distance. Very comfortable and modern apartment. We stayed in the two person deluxe apartment. Very clean and well appointed with small kitchen, fridge, hob, microwave and sink. Lovely hot shower. Comfy bed. Nice outdoor area to sit in too. Free parking is available just across the road, but be warned, the surface is full of potholes! It’s free though!

I’m a solo pilgrim from the USA this October 2022. I am very impressed with the service I received at this tiny little hole in the wall hotel. It is spot on clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped ! Breakfast is fabulous with very fresh delicious food served with perfection ! Their manager Nuno and his housekeeping team are all super nice and go out of their way to help! Matosinhos is a working class neighborhood but I feel very safe here! For the purpose of a pilgrim, this place is just perfect to catch the start of the Camino without dealing with the stretch from Porto! I would recommend this facility without reserves !
