Thank you so very much for the Matthews Commons Team! Deborah, Matt, David and the other staff helped to make my apartment my home and I've truly enjoyed living there. I spend over 2 years at Matthews Commons and will miss so many things about the community - wonderful neighbors, beautiful spacious apartment (and awesome walk-in closet), open concept kitchen and living room that is great for socializing, large bathroom with soaking tub, and wonderful amenities - the pool is amazing! They work hard to make sure the community is clean, has beautiful flowers and landscaping, and is friendly to residents and guests. My dog Gerhardt will also miss the amenities - the dog park, car wash station to make sure his Jeep is clean, and treats when we went to visit the front office. Thank you for a wonderful place to live!

We rented our apartment with MAA Matthew Commons for only 4 months. Needed a comfortable place to stay between homes. From first contact to the end of stay, Deborah and Matt were fantastic! Deborah even looked into a better rate for our short stay. Both are very personable and friendly making them the perfect front line staff. The apartment met our needs, residents were very nice, clean, and place well kept. We actually reported a toilet running on Sunday and they repaired on Monday. That's top notch service all around. Thanks Matthews Commons for making our transition smooth. Happy 2021!

This is a great place to live. The office staff, Deborah and Matt are attentive and they do their best to solve any problem you may have. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly and the staff always follows up to ensure that you are satisfied. The apartments are updated, very comfortable; and the grounds outside are beautiful and well maintained. My neighbors are diverse, friendly and very quiet. I have not experienced loud noises, disruptions or any problems at all. Overall, I am happy living here and I would recommend Colonial Grand at Matthews to anyone looking for a comfortable and decent place to live.

I've had nothing but awesome experiences with CG at Matthews Commons. I moved here from out of state and was really impressed with the staff and application process all the way through. Sarah Grace was especially great in answering all of my questions. I recently moved in and the apartment is in great condition, only a few minor maintenance issues. There's tons of storage in the unit and the bathroom is huge. The community itself is nice and quiet, very well kept. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The pool and grilling area is beautiful. The fitness center is nice too but it's small if you're serious about working out. I will probably get a membership at a nearby full-size gym. Overall I would definitely recommend this complex to others. It's very clean, quiet, homey, and pretty. It's in a perfect location with lots of grocery stores/shopping centers/downtown Matthews within 2 mile radius. The complex is located off of a side road of Independence. Rent is affordable too. There's plenty of convenient parking. 10/10 recommend!!

Well organized apartment and you will get straight forward answers here. The Apartment appears very modern compared to the ones around this location.

Nice Apartments and floor plans. Visited a family member and she loves it. Nice pool area too.
