I had never been treated this way in a hotel but we had a problem with the shower because it does not open normally but it has a strange way of opening so we asked for help and the manager knocked on the door and entered my room in a very rude way. the shower as only HE knows and rudely said DOESN'T WORK? and then he came out and slammed on the door very rudely very hard, he was angry when I should be angry because of the old shower they have. Then I went to the bathroom I wet the entire bathroom floor with the shower I'm seriously so surprised with this DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL IT'S ONLY WASTE OF MONEY

Wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but definitely wasn’t expecting the horrible conditions of the room. For one, our door did not close all the way, you could literally see outside through the side of the door. The room smelled like smoke. When we got to our room, the room was not clean. The sheets were on the chair, there were empty soda cans and smoked cigarettes on the table. We ran to the store and came back and someone had went in the room to clean it while we were not there. The tub looked so disgusting and brown I waited to get back home the next day to shower, and the there were cigarette holes in the sheet . Only good thing I can say is the guy at check in was pretty cool, and make our check in very quick and easy. Luckily the hotel is in a safe area so we weren’t worried about anyone causing trouble.

The hotel promises hot breakfast in the morning. As od March 15, 2023 there was none. Pet friendly but unlike Red Roof will cost you a lot. Web site says it was $56, was charged twice that.

Me And My Friend Joe Brown, Booked a Room There For The Night On August 6, 2023. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. There were bugs crowling all over the bed with us and the toilet stopped working. Then when we call for someone to fix it. He came in the room without announcing himself fixed it and walked out the door. Didn't even tell us it was fixed, didn't even acknowledge us. This place was NASTY. IF I COULD I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE IT ONE STAR. oh!!! And not to mention we paid $133 dollars for a roach motel out in Matthew's

Horrible room. Dirty floors, Dirty sheets, roaches dead on the wall as well as alive. Drug dealers selling outside, ambulance there for someone ( most likely a overdose) We asked for a refund which they couldn’t refund asap have to wait for it. We were in the room for about a hr and I got bit by bed bugs before we found a nicer place!!!!! Horrible disgusting place. Never go there

Very unhappy with the service. The front desk clerk was rude and mean. let alone could not understand half the things he was saying. The place is old and our room stinks with smoke. Very unsatisfied and will not stay here again. My accommodations were not met at all. How hard is it to get a nonsmoking room!

Place is run down my door closed and locked but was so bent up it had a one inch gap I could literally watch people walk by and you hear everything it's like sleeping outside. This place will never get my business again. It's rundown they don't maintain anything you can take your pick of much nicer places for the same money. You've been warned ⚠️

Bed hard as bricks. Great water pressure. Fridge unplugged. Did I mention great water pressure. Nice owner/clerk.

Love the staff. Vary kind, and helpful. I will always remember how they helped us in our time of need.

Pet friendly!! Rooms are clean and affordable.deff a very chill place to stay. Very strict about check out time though. But don't accidentally leave behind any belongings after check out, they threw away my blanket even after I had called the front desk and asked them to please hold it for me. I went to pick up my blanket after calling to let the staff know I had accidentally left it while checking out in a hurry and not only did they not have my blanket but the guy had no clue what I was talking about nor had he ever seen it. other than that the price is great and the pet deposit is cheap and people tend to mind their own business which is nice. Not a bad choice when staying Matthews on a budget.

I booked this thru Priceline and lemme tell you. All the photos you see from the company are FAKE, EDITED HEAVILY, and FULL OF LIES. Just like the other reviews you see here. The place was disgusting, stains everywhere, greasy surfaces on the chairs, desks, nightstands, etc. They obviously do not wipe the surfaces down with anything that cleans and sanitizes because of these leftover stains. Do yourself a favor and shell out a couple extra dollars a night somewhere else. I beg you, DO NOT come here unless you are desperate. The paint on the bathroom ceiling peels as it warms up in the room while you shower, the shower head leaks in multiple directions, so no matter what the floor is going to become a slip hazard. The fridge was unplugged, which I thought was weird, but there's a reason why. It REEKS and when it finally got cold it freezes everything even on the lowest setting. The coating of the fridge is also coming off (showing the age of the appliances in the hotel) and hair is stuck to the rusted rungs that are still on the fridge door. There is dirt and grime on the chairs and desk chairs that are in the hotel on top of yellow, brown, and red stains on the sheets of the bed.
