What a lovely Mediterranean restaurant at Sylvia park! Generous servings, affordable prices, friendly staff and quick service. I love my began wrap. Toilet is incredibly clean. Well organised menu and variety of meals to choose from. Highly recommended 👍

Highly recommend this place .The restaurant’s interior design was amazing. The staff are welcoming. We tried Rib eye the steak was so yummy, juicy asked them to made it well done and it came as I want . I suggest to add more veggies to it . The other dish was Lamb Tagine it was delicious the meat was cooked perfectly, it melted in the mouth. The spices was amazing My daughter ordered chicken skewers the test was very good and cooked well . It was served with sauces ( chili sauce, yogurt, harissa ) they were so yummy. There was one think I noticed that the couscous was a little bit dry . It is the best place to visit with your beloved family members.

Walked in without a reservation for six people. No frowning or panic-stricken urgency from the greeter/waiter. In less than 30secs we were seated with a welcoming smile, menus distributed and water jugs on the table. Eight minutes later our orders were taken and 15mins they appeared plated and hot for us to enjoy. Love the speedy service, aromatic flavours and vegetarian option. We lingered after dessert but no one rushed us to leave. Two families: one with two fractious kids dined late that night and the other needing specific food groups because of their faith were also embraced to enjoy the restaurant. The staff didn't bat an eyelid and did all to be accommodating making the restaurant feel like home. It's why we keep coming back.

Been here before for lunch. Attentive service, great ambiance, a better alternative to the usual local cafes. This time we visit for the first time to try their breakfast menu. We ordered, coffees, the big breakfast and shashuka, the big breakfast was great, the shashuka is good, would be awesome if they offer the spicy version, portion was generous and well priced for Auckland. I would definitely make this my regular weekend breakfast spot.

We were group of about 16. Ordered lots of food. Everything was very nicely presented and soo fast! The staff is very nice and attentive. Beef cheek tagine is definitely a winner! Falafel was very nice! Everything was great. Best place for "better" dinner (understand better than a burger or a pub) in Sylvia Park.

There is something about the ambience of a restaurant and attentive servers that makes a meal into a wonderful dining experience. Casablanca did just that for our party last night. Our party of 3 had pre-booked, and we dined at 6pm on a Friday evening. We ordered a few cocktails, "Rock the Kasbah," and a grazing platter. Our drinks and platter arrived in what felt like moments but probably was about 15 minutes- super fast for a restaurant that was half full. First course: Grazing platter - generous portions, smoky hummus, refreshing labneh accompanied with pulled lamb, meatballs, calamari, prawns. Flat bread, salad of cucumber, tomatoes and crunchy mesclun. Absolutely delish! Drinks: "Rock the Kasbah" cute name! (Think apple liqueur and vodka) Second course: 3 x lamb tagines - delectable lamb shanks in a rich, aromatic sauce with fluffy couscous. Drinks: "Here's looking at you kid" This was a team favourite; creamy, frothy with a side of passionfruit. A bit too cough medicine flavour for my liking but still seriously good. As for dessert? Well, guess what? Our decent meal portions left us completed satiated, and we were too stuffed to order pudding. Unbelievable, I don't think that's happened for us - ever. So we had 1 x apple tea and 2 x pomegranate tea, which was the perfect palate cleanser, fragrant and sweet. Final thoughts - I reckon Bogey'd enjoy a meal here, I'll definitely be coming back and bringing friends. Amenities: Great Mediterranean decor and squeaky clean Parking: Free and lots of it Family-friendly dining - kids more than welcome.

fastfoodfriday and #foodiebumz are back with dinner at Casablanca Sylvia Park ( missed ya Theresa Stowers 😁). A mix of Mediterranean, Turkish, Greek and more. Pides, dips, grazing platter with assorted meats, kebabs, stuffed bell peppers, a slow cooked lamb tagine and seafood too. Unanimously satisfied with all those mains. 2 Affogatos, 2 fondants and a plate of ice-cream for dessert. And Turkish coffee with traditional Turkish delight to finish off a gastronomic treat. Staff wonderful. Couldn't fault the night really. 9/10 coconuts ppl. Check them out. 😁👌🤙

I had the most incredible experience at this enchanting restaurant. It exudes beauty and warmth, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. The food surpassed all expectations and can only be described as divine. I've had the pleasure of dining here for both brunch and dinner on separate occasions, and each time was an absolute delight. The soft lighting and stunning decor add to the overall experience, making it a truly memorable visit. During our most recent outing, we shared plates among three people, and the portions were more than generous. We also indulged in their cocktails and bubbles . I'm already eagerly anticipating my next booking at Casablanca, as it truly brings the essence of Morocco to Auckland. Thank you for this wonderful experience!

Mother’s Day dinner- usually means a sometimes harried restaurant and so so service- but not Casablanca Sylvia park. Excellent service and food. Attentive care throughout the busy evening . Our seating gave us a Birds Eye view of the arrivals and departures and service. All on point. Highly impressed with our waitress. Well done.

Great place to be, went there for my daughter’s birthday and ordered different 10-12 dishes and 9 different drinks , everything was wonderful and service was also amazing. Waitresses were smiling and happy faces made you feel welcomed very nice and cozy environment, Would definitely recommend to visit them , they do have 4 main vegetarian dishes and couple more vegetarian options to choose from apart from a lot of other meat options .

We had the best evening here last night! We came up for my Partners cousins birthday, there were 8 of us and it was a blast! The service was professional and lovely, the food was delivered very quickly, considering how busy they were. But most importantly, the food was to die for. Very tasty, very flavoursome and really well priced! They also have a delicious selection of drinks, including cocktails. I had the Boujee Bedouin, which is a lethally good Run cocky. Good gods it's a danger! Haha. Divine and elegant setting with a menu that I would like to try EVERYTHING from. A must visit place!

We loved this restaurant. A lovely place to gather with family and eat really tasty food in a comfortable environment. We each had something different to eat and each plate was delicious rounded off with Turkish coffee and baklava. Delicious. Definitely going back next time I'm in Sylvia Park.

I recently enjoyed a Mediterranean dining experience at Casablanca, and it was outstanding. The decor beautifully echoed the Mediterranean culture, and the service was top-notch. Though the restaurant was quite busy our order came quickly with multiple check-ins from staff throughout our meal! The menu was extensive, offering a variety of options for all taste buds. The cocktails were not only delicious but generous. We opted for the Lahmajun which was quite flavorful though it could have been a bit warmer. The Chicken Lunch Plate was divine, with tasty hummus and authentic tabouli. For dessert, the Baklava, albeit a tad sweet as it was served with Ice Cream, was a tasty choice. In hindsight, pairing it with coffee might have provided a nice balance. Overall, Casablanca offered a delightful combination of excellent service, affordability, Mediterranean ambiance, and delicious food and drink options. I would definitely return!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Casablanca Sylvia Park, and I was thoroughly impressed. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the lamb tagine, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the sauce was rich and complex. I can honestly say that it was one of the best lamb tagines I've ever had. I also had the chicken skewers, and they were also excellent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the seasoning was spot-on. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves chicken skewers. In addition to the great food, Casablanca Sylvia Park also has a great selection of wines and cocktails. I had a glass of the Moroccan red wine, and it was perfect with my lamb tagine. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Casablanca Sylvia Park. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mediterranean meal in Auckland.

Been here a few times over the years. On my most recent visit I had lunch with a girlfriend and Sylvia Park was the most convenient for the both of us distance wise as she doesn't live in town. This is a good spot for a nibble or a meal once you're done with shopping. Turkish pomegranate tea was a first for me as I'd never heard of it but it was a nice change from the usual apple. I really liked it and would order it again. Ordered the mezze platter (which is designed to share) with the pulled lamb. It was delish but should've also had pita bread (or some other bread) as the pide wasn't enough. I also wasn't a fan of the pickled cabbage. It was too chunky and should be finely chopped or shredded. Our waitress was very nice and she looked after us well.

It's quite a nice and fancy restaurant. The food was so so but it was good for modern merditernian foods. Service was also good. And the restaurant was clean.

I certainly enjoyed my time here, the food was amazing & full of flavour, good size portions, the staff were friendly & attentive, I would have rated 5 stars but there was a wait on our dessert, we asked 4x different staff but apart from that my first time experience was wonderful.

Beef skewers are delicious, and pizza is nice too. Both are quite filling. Mocktail are great. Prefer Fas Bleu to Mango Citrus Twist. Good service and nice environment.
