I would like to advise that have been going to the Onehunga Family Medical Centre for many years. They have remained my trusted, and only GP from when I lived in the area also many years ago. The doctor, the nurses, and the different receptionists I’ve met, have all been wonderful. A few years ago I decided to transfer the rest of my family to the Onehunga Family Medical Centre. I am very surprised by the negative comments and posts which have one star attached to them. We all have tough days, and I’m quite sure the team at OFMC, are no exception to this rule. However I have always found the entire team to be friendly, professional, and kind hearted. Perhaps just take a minute to stop and think about what the doctor, the nurse, and receptionists might deal with on a daily and ongoing basis. There must be times when it would be an incredibly challenging job, yet these wonderful people do it almost every day to help their patients. Particularly during these uncertain times when we are all living with the effects of Covid. They put themselves at risk, to keep patients safe. To the team at OFMC, keep up the great job you are doing, and know that we thank you, and love you all. You’re some of the best people we know. Best wishes, Dean.

Have been going to Dr Parbhu for over 10 years now and he looks after myself and all 3 of my children since they were born. He makes us all feel comfortable and every time he has made a diagnosis, Dr Parbhu is always spot on. His team are helpful and quick to assist with appointments. During covid he has been amazing offering video and phone appointments as well as seeing us for Covid testing and to check our children before the Christmas holidays at the back of his surgery to put our minds at ease. I recommend Dr Parbhu to anyone inside and outside the area as we will continue to travel to him no matter how far we live from Onehunga.

I have been a patient at the Onehunga Family Medical Centre since 1998. Dr Parbhu has always treated me respectfully and given accurate consultations and great service. Our children are also naturally patients here now receiving the same great service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr Parbhu to others. Reception has always been accommodating to fit us in at short notice if they are able to.

I have been with Dr Parbhu since last 5 years. Even after moving to New Lynn I don’t mind travelling all the way to onehunga. Very friendly reception staff and caring nurse. Very much impressed with doctor. Most of my friends who live in different parts of Auckland are registered here.

5 star for there service the doctor here’s so helpful. I went to so many doctor and they told me I’m ok. But when I came here and explained to my doctor everything found out what was wrong with me with the right test and I appreciate my doctor for willing to help thank you! The wait is long but it’s worth it trust me . Just be patient

Dr Prabhu is great, my family is grateful to have him as our family doctor. He picks up any issues very quickly and he has been ultimate solution finder for any of our health related problems. Staff is friendly too. We need more doctors like him in NZ.

I trust Dr Parbhu and his staff with my family's health. I have visited regularly since joining the practice several years ago. Later, my wife moved over from her old doctor's. The staff are warm and welcoming; the nurse is a dab-hand with a needle - didn't feel a thing, and everyone's whole attitude is both human and humane. I can only imagine the pressure they have all been under for the last couple of years, and yet they are still kind and professional. That's what you need in a doctor, isn't it? - kind and clever.
