Super convenient and very well priced for the area. Stayed in a 6 bed suite with some friedns over a weekend together and would hight recommend. The room was clean and well presented with secure electric hotel locks, which honestly isn't somethingI'vee seen on a motel in nz before. The room was vlean and very spacious, smelt fresh and clean. The bathroom to our suite was a stunning walk in showe, and there were war, clean towels waiting for us on arrival. For 375 a night between 6 people.. i highly recommend the ellerslie palms motel. Super convenient, nice apartment style room and very quiet to boot. I will definitely be back again if i need a big room again

Very well maintained. Clean and tidy. Great kitchen area with everything you need. Nice to have a decent sized tv. Decent sized bathroom and lounge area. Very handy to Sylvia Park. Stayed there this week. No coathangers in the room, when requested didn't have any. Rooms not as tidy. For the increased price service is not so good. Bit different from 2 years ago.

We arrived on a Friday evening, picked up our key from reception and went to our room upstairs. Room was comfortable, decent size and the bed was great. Huge and comfy. There is a Thai takeaway and dairy, bottle store within walking distance. Staff were accommodating. All in all it was clean and well presented. We left on Sunday.

Not luxurious cor so but neat, tidy and spacy. Really big. Nice little kitchen and spacious bathroom 🚻. Quiet surroundings. Will stay there again. For sure

Location, parking & room was excellent! The room was very clean, modern and the shower had great water pressure. The only downside we had was that our room wasn’t ready by 2pm and reception was quite often closed. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This motel does NOT accept pets. Very annoying that it still comes up in searches as pet friendly. I advised them last year but they still have not updated this.

Like the review from 10 months ago said you still show up in pet friendly results - and are yet to remove yourself from those search results despite being previously advised.

Room was dirty, there were bugs in the room when I arrived, bins werent enptied. I am staying for a week and on day 2 they cant even service a room properly. Unfortunately work will send me here again, like before, things havent gotten any better each time I stay. The place looks more like a store room outside the reception than a motel

Nice motel. Rooms clean, tidy and modern. Shower very good. No towel to start with. Overall I would use again but all communications are done over the phone. No face to face contact . Close to Ellerslie -Panmure highway so noisy traffic.

Booked one night as very close to where we needed to be going. Specifically asked for a downstairs unit, which was confirmed as one of the party is disabled. We were put in an upstairs room. No one on site when we went to check in and we had not been advised of a lock box number. I checked emails texts to make sure I had not missed it. Made 4 phone calls to try and get access, this was 4.30 in the afternoon. In the end someone on the phone made a call to someone in the house office that we had been standing outside of for 20 minutes. The person that came out was not impressed at being disturbed. Vacuum cleaner and a mop still sitting on the pathway next morning and the emergency exit sign lying on the stairs. We will never stay there again.

I had to find somewhere in Auckland last minute due to my mother's illness. The room was bigger than I needed and charged close to $200 per night for three nights. I found no less than SEVEN cockroaches (three in the dining room, two in the bedroom and two in the bathroom) in the room. Four of the sever were only small baby roaches but still cockroaches never the less. I observed no cleaning of my room done while I stayed there. On the second day I told the cleaner who told me they would advise the owners. On my last day I went to hand the key in and when I asked if the cleaner had told them about the SEVEN cockroaches the manager said yes. She said they had previously had problems with cockroaches in a different room. She also said she had been going to offer me another room but noticed I was checking out that morning. No mention of a refund or a compensatory nights accommodation. I will not stay here again as they have no idea of customer service. I do NOT recommend you choose this accommodation.

The room was clean, large, well equipped and quite luxurious. It was rather windy at night, so the room was a bit drafty but still ok in summer. If you drive a small car, please be careful entering or leaving the parking lot, or you will get some severe scratches on the underside of your car.

Outstanding rooms (upstairs) very clean and modern. Good pricing and pleasant service. Location is perfect for transitioning between Auckland city, Otahuhu and Takanini for work site visits.

Spacious clean rooms, comfy beds and close to the motorway. Lots of parking on-site. Absolutely love the large walk in showers and that they leave air-conditioning on to keep the room cool.

Rooms were large and quite spacious. Large bathrooms with walk in shower. Kitchenette was well equipped. Our room was clean and tidy. Check in is a problem. Calling the provided number resulted in being hung up on three times. A better system is required.

Well appointed rooms. However, no wifi and check-in was via phone there was no one on site. Close to a couple of small shopping centers and convenient for our purposes as it was close to where we were visiting.

Not clean, they left used bar soaps on the fridge and bathroom was dusty and moldy. Do not recommend!

Nice, respectable motel with good size rooms and facilities. Nice big shower with great water pressure. Beds and pillows are comfy, with good side lamps and electric blankets if needed. A/c in the room, which is a bonus. Having a card to access entry and use for power is good. The room had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. The one letdown is that we did not know where the password was for the wifi, as it was hidden. We had to play treasure hunt... found it after a while, but it may be just something the receptionist overlooked telling us. I would definitely stay here again. Staff friendly & helpful.

We booked at short notice and were able to get ground floor room, which was great. Very impressed by size of unit and easy access, very large shower with great water pressure. Not something we take for granted! Our hosts were so pleasant and helpful. Great place to stay.

Generally Clean and tidy..beautiful decor, nice and quiet in the unit, even though it's on the main road. Arrived late at night but they were kind, patient and accommodating. Theres a safe which was great for securing important things. We had the best sleep ever, I'm so grateful. The only reason they never got a 5 star was because of the shower. There was build up in the corners dirt in the grout and water stains on the glass

Was our go-to when staying in Auckland, Previous managers were really helpful and caring. New managers just hopeless- we stayed 3 nights had booked for 4, room was dirty was never cleaned while we were out most of the time- we came back Monday 2.30 room had still not been cleaned.Explained to woman in office we did not want to stay another night as room was not cleaned in 3 days- she said she would put in a request for refund- we were charged! Fact is the room was not clean for anyone else to check into so why were we charged?Appalling stay- never again- theyve had the place for 6 months and is now on way to rundown dump.Save your $ and go elsewhere.

Checked into an unclean room. The bathroom was filthy with the shower mat growing mould, the kitchen surface and drain was dirty, a toe nail clipping found on the floor, weird white substance on the side table that was not cleaned, the previous guests clothes were left on the back of the door which housekeeping has missed. First night I stayed was very loud with emergency housing long term staying guests woke me up around 11:30pm screaming and swearing. You could smell smoke coming into the room. Continued on for a few hours. The second night other guests were singing and drinking and stopped after midnight. Third night the emergency housing guests were at it again till 3am, banging on the doors, smoking, swearing, running around the complex, this made me feel very unsafe as they appeared to be on drugs so I checked out early from the bad experience. Was told I’d get a refund for the nights I didn’t stay but why should I pay for the nights where I got no sleep. Extremely disappointed and feel that this could of been handled better.

Nice room with kitchenette, good sized bathroom, clean. Extra bed in lounge was perfect for extra adult. Thought the bench seat in the bedroom was useful for putting the luggage on.

Rooms were quite nice, they were clean and spacious. But is it a Motel for general public or Emergency housing for disrespectful losers? We had quite undesirable people living below our room and they were blasting very loud music through the night, drinking and chain smoking and continuously yelling and screaming stuff out, right past 4 in the morning and there were blood stains on the concrete. I personally think if motels are used as emergency housing then thats fine, just make them that but not both. Definitely not a family friendly place to stay, well not when we were there anyway

Where do I even start. I stayed here with 2 others and we had a really bad time. We found cockroaches in our room and it was dusty enough to set off our allergies. I had multiple asthma attacks and we found mold in the bathroom/shower. We also found out that there is lotion in the conditioner bottle. It was just an overall very poor experience. Not to mention for the price we paid it was just redicilulous. DO NOT RECCOMMEND.

Stayed here during the peak of the cyclone. The room was very very tidy, and the bathroom was so nice ! Very modern. Would most definitely stay here again .
