A little haven compared to the larger shopping malls of Auckland. Amazing Crystal's and Astrology shop. Unique. Ample Parking. Wheelchair friendly. Fantastic food court. Luscious cafés. Pak n Save awesome. A wee gem of an old school shopping mall with fewer people. No crowds. Lovely to browse at one's own pace.

This mall is very small and quite tired looking. There is not much of a variety in shops. I went to a clothes shop to ask if they sold halter tops and she didn't understand what a halter top was. All in all not a place I'd visit too often

Fast food chains and the supemarket are great an all however the "mall" dosen't seem to look like a mall or feel like a mall. Due to outdated shops as well a very dull vibe. I recommend to rennovate the whole mall to be on the same level as populated malls such as silvia park or westfield newmarket etc.

Small and independent owned stores. Good as a village shopping center. Next pack and save is among the best ones with large variety of items not found further south

It had a lot of stores and cafes which all had a steady stream of customers. It wasn't overcrowded with people. It was nice to slow have a browse at most of the shop

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic shopping experience at Royal Oak Shopping Mall! The variety of stores and boutiques cater to all tastes and needs. The mall is well-maintained, clean, and spacious. The staff at the stores were friendly and helpful. Plus, there are plenty of dining options to refuel during your shopping spree. I highly recommend a visit to Royal Oak Shopping Mall for a great day of shopping and entertainment!

They had a 99cents week special. I have never seen so many people coming in week days at 10am. Thanks for giving the community such a deal. We really appreciate that. Nice store with lots of parking space.

Nice when cars don't collision with your car as some shops are available with carparks and awesome "free" Nice to see more and also not expensive not uncheap; jus right when we only have less than most x Got watchout for roundabout on roadways esp Royal Oak . Some drive too fast not knowing pedestrians are very close . PaknSav 👌 but bring back Double Brown 🍻 beers crikey they hide them away ! Awesome staff esp trolleys lifters 🏋️‍♂️ they are .. and jus "a thankyou" on a rainy hot any day..I'm sure brings them smile as I do. APPRECIATE them very much trolleys staff 👍

food and drink at Ca. faye cafe is always a treat with friendly service. Having a few supermarket and few dollar stores means I usually find those supplies I need. Merchandise at shop 2 has some good finds too.

Great food hall with reasonable prices and a friendly and relaxed environment. The mall itself has a variety of shops including book shop, frame shop, Chinese food supplies and many others. Not fancy, but friendly, local and affordable.

I really only go here for grocery shopping (Pak n Save). The mall is fairly simple in a 90s style. If someone else wanted to go shopping there I'd go with them.

Needs some cleaning and some styling to make it more attractive. Those empty shops make the mall very unattractive.

I never knew what was inside the mall until entering and WOW its is packed with all these little stores. Very convenient, have been multiple times after that.

It is the dirtiest mall in Auckland. The toilets smell and are not cleaned enough. Only one or two shops worth going to

  • 5/5 Mitchell W. 6 months ago on Google
The food court is very nice but be fair warned if you're restricted to using your phone as your payment like I am there's only one place there in the food court that accepts PayWave it's the cafe I'm not blaming the businesses that don't accept PayWave because I understand it's a big fee for most smaller businesses

Visited after being away for 23 years. Very shocked at the poor condition. Third world. Lift not working escalator not working for months apparently. McDonalds all doors bar one locked and I wouldn't feed my dog in there! Verysad not nice!

Heaps of parking and for handicap right next to entrance. Wide variety of items. If butcher is present then can have meat/fish done your way. Right next is like a small mall with Macdonald Subway bank vege shop chemist eateries the list goes on. Go on send your partner shopping and you relax at eateries ha ha

Pak n Save a mad house to shop in on a Sunday. But it's kiwi owned corporate so better to support NEW ZEALAND ownership

Great mall with many choices of shopping and a small food court too

  • 3/5 Felix J. N. 1 year ago on Google
It's pretty below average shopping mall, seems half abandoned, many closed shops. Quite small, lack of proper brand shops and variety. Good enough to pop into but won't return again.

  • 3/5 Durr-e-Shahwar S. 1 year ago on Google
It was deserted at the time we visited like around 4 PM. Since it has a glass ceiling at entrance, the light was good but there was a discomfort with sunheat and the food smell inside

  • 5/5 Rob F. 1 year ago on Google
Very good mall with wide variety of shops. The eatery was ok, I give it 3 stars, as they rely heavily on the cabinet food. There is an interesting furniture store which cater for small apartments. Clever designs, quality ok and reasonable prices. Very helpful proprietor.

  • 4/5 Oliver Vence G. 1 year ago on Google
Spacious mall with lots of stores to choose from. There's a few Asian stores, and dollar stores for cheap picks. It also has a Pak'n'Save for daily groceries.

  • 5/5 Kacey I. 1 year ago on Google
It has everything you need and nothing more. We always go here because we love the Coffee at Royal Barista Cafe.

  • 4/5 D V. 1 year ago on Google
Still a great hub for community but definitely other than Paknsave a bit run down and old.

  • 3/5 Dihina F. 1 year ago on Google
Very quiet and awkward mall. But there is a nice cafe i ate at, forgot the name. Was delicious but very pricey.

This place has greatly improved over the last 10+ years. Used to be a dive, but management seems to have made a big effort to get tenants in and get a positive atmosphere happening! PaknSave excellent range of products at great prices.

The mall is awesome. Security Jack is an awesome guard as he assisted me with my car and getting the key from the boot using AA from his account. Such a kind and patient young man and I highly recommend this mall because your well looked out for. Thanks Security Jack.

Went in for lunch, and I was sad just looking around and seeing what the mall had.I felt like the food court needed work on, maybe a new look. The food is ok, nothing special.. what I liked about the place was there is a small shop right in front of the food court that had a lot of good gift items so for that I will go back there.

  • 3/5 Anna J. 1 year ago on Google
Quite small with limited shops. You might not be able to get what you're looking for due to the size of mall and low quantity of the businesses inside Plenty free parking spaces available for the shoppers.

  • 3/5 John M. 1 year ago on Google
Pak n Save and the Unichem Pharmacy are pretty good, but the mall itself is looking tired and run down. The main travelator to the lower carpark and the escalator to the upstairs area have been out of action ever since the heavy rain events earlier this year, with no signs of repair work. Lots of empty shops....pretty depressing. .......great shame.

  • 2/5 Dion E. 1 year ago on Google
Terrible mall. Not well maintained. Falling apart. Didn’t give it a 1 star because it at least had a pack n save and the cafe up stairs is pretty kid friendly

  • 5/5 Marie 1 year ago on Google
Still a very busy centre due to Pak n save, plenty of parking and a great little food court

  • 5/5 Roderick W. 4 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
Smaller mall with a number of independent retailers. Some really neat little shops and specialty interest stores. I like the food court, also has Mc Donald’s and Wendy’s for the kids. Easy to find parking and quite elderly friendly if taking older family members. Would definitely recommend.
