We walked into this place quite late for lunch not knowing what to expect. And then we found these on the menu (see photos) The place has an old Parisian feel. The decor and furniture match that vibe. It is located at Police Bazar junction in Shillong. The staff were well trained and courteous. We went back again for breakfast to this place the next day. It's slightly on the higher end compared to other places nearby but worth the price. The staff even change something if you don't find it ok.

Located at the centre of the police bazaar. The landscape view of the bazaar from the hotel is beautiful. Interior of the hotel is quite classic and gives a royal vibes. Wooden furniture and natural flowers on dinning table adds to its aesthetic. However, foods are exorbitantly costly. Two peices of fish curry cost me Rs. 380, which one neither delicious nor that deserving. So,one may check the menu well before ordering. All the best!

If you want to have traditional khasi food this place is good choice...It's took almost 2hrs but worth waiting for.

One of the oldest restaurants in the police bazaar..it is in the center point hotel..the price is slightly on the higher side...but the food is good, the staff is courteous and the ambience is pretty okay..and i have not very often seen this place crowded...do pay a visit if you are nearby...a meal for two would cost around 1.5k

Well decorated restaurant, in the heart of police bazar. Extremely well maintained nd polite staff but the food is quite average as per taste nd it’s price. Little miscommunication with order… we ordered 2 side dishes with single portion but they offered two nd didn’t even mention. So improvement needed.

We visited LA-GALERIE at Centre Point Hotel in Police Bazar, Shillong for an evening tea and snack. The milk tea, cappuccino, and veg pakora were delightful. The tables were beautifully decorated, clean, and the prime location offered a view of the bustling PB crowd. On another visit for dinner, the veg momo, mutton and fish thali, paneer sizzler, and desserts were delicious, but some first-choice items were unavailable. Despite the variety offered, the absence of preferred dishes affected our overall dining experience. Would like to mention about the service of the staff members who were welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

I always wondered how is their food would be.. will it be overpriced 🤔 BUT, their food is good & at a reasonable price with good portions. We had potato wedges in mozzarella cheese 😍 Mushroom fried rice with Kung Pao Chicken, that was good too & filling and wrapped up with TIRAMISU, that was okayish! Service was good & welcoming

Avoid at all costs!! Sat down for nearly 20 minutes and they didn’t even have the courtesy to clear the table or bring an additional chair we requested. The person at the front desk was super rude and condescending to my friend. It may be noted that we had already called to make reservations, and they told us to come to the restaurant, which we did. After enquiring multiple times, they informed us that we would be served after 30-45 minutes—this was after waiting there for about 20 minutes. An absolute joke! Overrated place with absolutely unprofessional service. I can understand the 3.6-star reviews, which are well deserved. Where did these people graduate from? No hospitality whatsoever. Even 5-star restaurants don’t behave this way. These people are way over their heads.

the worst experience ever. we waited for an hour and didnt even get the chairs, the staff made us wait and they didnt even serve us. What is this behaviour??. they didn’t even give us any water,and acted like we were ghosts or something? Get better staff !!! the staff literally only takes high classed people seriously. we had to leave and we already called for a table and guess what we got? NOTHING. just bad service. 😒

Experienced the worst service ever. Already called to reserve a table and they readily told us that a table was available but when we reached the place, we had to search for a table on our own and found only a table for 4 availablewhen clearly I reserved for 7 . On top of that none of the staff tried to clean off the table that we were sitting at. When I inquired the receptionist they said they were readying a table for us and made us wait for more than 30 mins. When we had enough of their service we tried to talk to the receptionist but instead of communicating with us instead she was busy doing what and what not and lastly informed us that we'll have to wait for another 1½ hour. Wow never coming to this kind of place anymore.
