I had high expectations as their concept is quite ambitious: reinventing local ingredients without ruining the tradition. Service is quite good and professional, venue is nice (mix of decadent and vintage). Sadly food didn't live up to the hype: salad is a confusing mess lacking a proper dressing, venison was cooked perfectly but other items were too close in flavour. Due to this and the high price tag, I cannot give more than 3*.

Place is located couple of meters from the main street. Staff at the entrance is super friendly. Their idea of serving dishes inspired by 19th century “Lithuanian” style works really well, as selected starters (pig ears are a must), main dishes (venison…), and deserts are really rounded and will give you the local feel. Wine selection is solid and includes couple of good French, Spanish & Italian wines. Need to try: their beatroot ice cream! Something out of the box.

Food with drinks came to €80 - not the cheapest but everything was delicious, service was good and atmosphere was lovely.

Chicken liver pate starter was mild, so don't be scared of any "gamey" taste. Lamb rump, perfectly cooked with the vegetable ratatouille supplementing the taste.
