I've worked in restaurants for several years as an expediter/runner and never in my life would I have let an order go out like this. I am mortified. There isn't really much else to say except that level of carelessness in the culinary world is what lands people in the hospital. I called golden dragon upon receiving my delivery and the manager apologized weakly and told me I would receive a call back later. I'll update this depending on how that goes. Post call update. The manager didn't take it seriously and accused me of mistaking the sesame seeds for a spider. What do you see, a spider or sesame seed? She refunded me for the meal. Will not patronize again. Two stars down to one.

General Tso's chicken with both kinds of rice. Giant chicken pieces in a sweet sauce.

General tsos chicken and general tsos tofu ... Absolutely large pieces of chicken and tofu, like chicken fingers! Not crispy at all, in fact, the breading just came off into the sauce. It wasn't bad on flavor, just the texture wasn't the same as you might expect. One little paper takeout box for white rice for 2 people, which is a bit weird. One of us is vegetarian and the other is not, so having us eat out of the same box of rice is not cool. They didn't have dine-in so we had to get it to go, and they didn't include forks/chopsticks as standard practice so we had to go back in and ask for them Slightly weird.

Went here with a date. Their website said they closed at 10PM. When we got there we at 9:30 pm we were told they close at 9:30PM and to leave. Other staff said we would be served and we were. But staff constantly circled us, watching us eat, as we tried to enjoy our meal. Clearly, they wanted us out of there. In disgust we had our food packed up to go. Eating is no fun when surrounded by circling vultures. Food itself (I had sweet and sour chicken) was rather dried out and the egg roll was way too peppery. I was not impressed by the food or the circling vultures.

I’ve been going to Golden Dragon for years. I’ve reviewed before. As a rule, this is a decent place, especially if you like sushi and Chinese food. Tonight I was unhappy with the tempura - it was too greasy and the vegetables were not tasty - red peppers, wet zucchini, and onion were not good, or crunchy; I took a bite of 2-3 pieces and it was not good, so I told the server (owner). She more or less ignored the situation and charged me (I clearly did not eat it)… so for the years of patronage and not complaining about all the missteps we have had over the years (as we wanted to support the local business and have done so throughout COVID 19)…. I think her taking off the $7-would have gone a long way for my continued business…. I will probably order takeout moving forward and stick to what I know is good… but I am no longer dining in…

I am always happy with my food and service. Both dine in and take out. The owners and staff are always friendly and kind to me and my family. We love going there for dinner when we can.

Some of the WORST FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN! I honestly don't know how this place is still in operation. The Garlic Chicken that I ordered came out basically RAW! And then the lady said that I might have to pay for it anyways when I told her that I wanted something else!? What!? I'll NEVER come back to this place and here is how I know that they aren't even doing that well, everything inside is dirty and dated and during a weekend night, you'd think that they would be busy, well, there was maybe 3 other tables. Find another place. Oh and the prices are a bit out of hand as well, 2 combinations and 1 dinner was close to $60! Too bad China Lu is gone... Oh well...

I often order carry out from this restaurant, and I absolutely love this place. I always get top of the line service and delicious sushi. This is my #1 go-to place if I am in a mood for sushi.

Walked in 30 minutes before they closed for the night but was greeted by extremely friendly wait staff and got our food very fast. And it is truly some of the best Chinese I've ever had. Was checked on by the server and by management which is nice considering so few places anymore actually put effort into caring about the customer's experience. Top notch service, top notch food. Will absolutely go back and recommend you giving them a try. Area of improvement: The dining room was very quiet, which can make for a somewhat awkward dining experience, sitting in silence. Music of some sort would have been nice. Great food, huge menu, fair prices, extremely pleasant staff. Check this place out.

Veggies so rubbery they were squeaking in my mouth. Rice all clumped together. Not fresh and tasted bad. Edit: even my fortune cookie was stale! Absolutely not coming back!

Tasty! I just moved back to Mayfield after living in lake county for 10 years. I was pleasantly surprised to see my favorite restaurant still in business. I placed an order for Chicken/Shrimp fried rice with extra egg and onion. It was fresh, and delicious! The staff on the phone and at the counter were extremely friendly and even spoke to my shy little girl and got her to smile!! I'm glad to be back in Mayfield! I will definitely make this a weekly treat!

Lived in the area all my life and, for some reason, just tried this place recently. EASILY the best Chinese food on this side of town and we have tried many. We ordered for the family several times now, various dishes, and all have been excellent. Generous portions, big pieces of meat, well prepared. Fried rice is superb. Exactly what you expect from Chinese takeout but executed superbly. Our new favorite for sure.

Stopped in because we were in the area. The lady who might have been an owner was so nice. We ordered some from the japanese menu and chinese menu. The General Tao's chicken had big juicy pieces. Everything had a more homemade feel than other chinese takeout places. Great experience woyld definately be a regular if it wasn't so far away from us.

I love Golden Dragon! My family has been going here for Chinese food for years. Their wonton soup is amazing, we always get a bag of shrimp chips, amd the egg rolls are a must! My favorite dish is the cashew shrimp & fried rice. I also love the chicken cashew, moo goo gai pan & orange chicken!

Great food; but only one complaint...you are paying lots more money for ordering online compared to in house ordering!! They don't tell yoyou this!! this!!

One of two sushi restaurants we frequent in the Cleveland area. Upsides: They have good vegan options and offer delivery. Their Kung Pao tofu is fantastic and vegan sushi is great. Downsides: their miso has been consistently lacking and last order I was upcharged $2 for requesting no mayo.

The food here is delicious! We had an old grandmother serving us. She gave her sushi order to a different table. My date felt like she wasn't professional enough, but she later won him over with her sweet demeanor.

I ordered bourbon chicken, war su gui and fried rice. I don't know what kind of food this was but it was awful 😞 to say the least. I spent 53.00 and couldn't eat any of it the chicken was greasy and the bourbon chicken did not look or smell like any I have ever had. Needless to say I will never go there again. I think the board of health needs to make a surprise visit to make sure it really what it should be (if you know what I mean) USA approved .

I don’t know what happened to this restaurant, but my food was horrible. The fried rice didn’t even taste like anything that is supposed to ,from a Chinese restaurant ,it tasted old and disgusting ,The chicken it’s not even real it must be some fake soy substitute this is the worst food I have ever had there and I’ve been living in the area for 30 years. Absolutely livid. We still paid ,didn’t complain and left 20%

Did not included plumber sauce in an order with 8 egg rolls when I called they refused to make it right, said they always send plumber sauce. Manager would not listen to me and hung up on me. Never took responsibility or offered a resolution.

Large portion for lunch not best, not the worst tasting. Got the kung pao chicken and fried rice. Rice was good. Too many peanuts (it was like getting a whole can of them). Soup was good (egg drop).

Arrived at 6pm on a Saturday. Tables only about half filled. I could tell take out was busier. Seated quickly, did not order from the bar, only hot tea, Served quickly. Ordered a dinner for two, which for those who don't know is a discounted special that includes choice of soup, egg roll, tempura shrimp and BBQ rib for each, and two entrees with rice to share. We both had Hot and Sour soup, and we both agreed it was excellent. The appetizer trio was also very tasty and cooked just right. Our entrees, twice cooked pork and sub gum chow mein also were on point. Overall a very good experience, and the best value for a dine-in option. $43 not including tip.
