I am extremely disappointed with Kids First. I was initially thrilled to bring my children there due to its proximity to my home. However, they have caused significant disruptions to my schedule. I explicitly informed them of my insurance coverage prior to my appointment, only to discover upon arrival that they do not accept my insurance. It was frustrating to realize that they were aware of this fact before my appointment. Nevertheless, considering the challenges of taking time off work to bring multiple children to the dentist, I decided to proceed with the appointments instead of starting the entire process anew. Unfortunately, during the visit, the dentist identified additional work that needed to be done. While I appreciate their thoroughness, I did not anticipate this, as my child had already undergone dental work within the past six months. The quality of the work performed at the previous dentist was subpar, leaving me in a position where I had to find a new dentist who accepts my insurance. The process of finding a dentist who meets these criteria, and also does not require multiple appointments, was incredibly time-consuming. I had to make several phone calls to ensure the referral was sent to the new dentist, adding to the frustration. It is worth mentioning that contacting multiple dentists to find one that accepts your insurance can be a job in itself. All of this could have been handled in a more professional manner. I would have greatly appreciated it if the Kids First team had been upfront about not accepting my insurance. This would have saved me valuable time and spared me from the additional headaches I have had to endure. I believe this situation could have been handled more professionally and transparently.

We had loved this place and the dentists. However in February we had to cancel an appointment because our family finally came down with covid. Then we had to cancel again because we had rebounds with covid. Because of Covid, we can't come back to the practice. I guess I SHOULD have just come in with covid and infected everyone in the office. People, especially kids get sick. This place doesn't seem to care about people trying to prevent the spread of serious illness.

I have two children that have been coming here for years and one newborn that was expected to be a new patient. I missed one appointment due to me being ill and I called the office to inform them the day before and they told me one more appointment that was cancelled before 48 hours would cause my son to be discharged. I told them I can still come in then and will just be sick in the office and she rescheduled me instead. A few weeks later, my mom had an issue (she has brain cancer) and I called to cancel unfortunately same day and they told me my son would be discharged. I said well, you might as well discharge my daughter because they can't go to separate practices. This office has ZERO compassion. Their patients are just a number to them. I only had TWO missed appointments in years, and they discarded us.

Will never take my kids anywhere else! From the top notch office to the overly friendly staff, the extremely patient hygienists to the knowledgeable dentists, what's not to love?! Our two kids both visit Kids First and have had their bouts of nerves sitting in the big chair. Everyone handles these brief moments of nerves with calm and patience, putting everyone, kids and parents alike, at ease, helping everything go smoothly.

We are so happy we found Dr. Tracy and his entire office staff! My dentist recommended him after we had a terrible experience at the previous pediatric dentist our kids were going to. The front desk was able to get both of our kids in for initial evaluations quickly and then just this week my son had a dental emergency and they were able to get us in to be seen the same day… incredible!!! That would have never happened where we had been going. Not to mention, Dr. Tracy and all of the hygienists have been so warm, welcoming and reassuring when our kids were anxious. So grateful to have found this wonderful pediatric dental practice!! Highly recommend!

I cannot recommend them highly enough, from the video games in the lobby to the caring staff. They made my son feel completely at ease even though he has a fear of the dentist. Will definitely be coming back here for years to come!

My child has been going to this dentist for 4 years. One appointment was missed due to COVID and another appointment was missed over a year later due to my child having a contagious stomach virus. Her appointment was at 9am and we called at 7am after leaving the emergency room to inform the dentist office via voicemail. We called to reschedule my child’s necessary appointment. Instead of them returning the call, as the receptionist stated they would, they sent a certified letter declining my daughter’s return. They dentists are okay. I had no true complaints. However, if they are willing to drop a long term patient due to contagious illnesses, it shows that they lack sympathy for uncontrollable circumstances. I would have been wrong if I had brought my child to their office work a contagious illness, right. Thankfully I’ve found another dental office who doesn’t have strict rules with no exceptions. These are children. Children get sick.

We have always had a great experience at Kids First Pediatric Dentistry but today was above and beyond. The offices were closed for renovations but Dr. Austin Bowden came in on his day off and found a place for him to see our daughter for an emergency. He was so flexible, knowledgeable, accommodating and truly so kind. Could not recommend this place more!!! He even followed up later in the day after he spoke with other colleagues. If you are looking for a dentist for your child look no further!!
