كنيسته
بالرحابة،
واحتوائها
على
جثامين
من
تلاميذ
السيد
المسيح،
وأشار
المقريزى
إلى
حراب
هذا
الدير
فى
أيامه،
وذكر
هذا
الدير
الكثير
من
المؤرخين،
والسائحين،
مما
يدل
على
عظمته
وقدمه.
